This is my go-to lip balm whenever I can go without sunscreen. It glides on smoothly and it REALLY moisturizes one's lips. I like that the tube is narrow so that I can identify it in my purse without even looking (and don't confuse it with my lipstick). I am such a fan of this that I stock up when it goes on sale as 2-for-a-better-price. (For those who are DHC fans, you may wonder which is better...this lip conditioner or their Vitamin C White Stick...I think this lip conditioner is better.) The only negative about the packaging is that there is SO much product left in the tube once it appears that you have "used up" the product. Don't be fooled into throwing away the tube at this point...there is still another 1/2 to 3/4 inch of product in there that you can recover.

According to www.cosme.net (Japanese version of makeupalley) this product has always been the number one. in the lipbalm department.
Personally I've been using this lipbalm for a very long time now and I love it! It's so moisturizing, and my friend asked me if I use lipgloss. I always use this under my lipgloss and it works really well. I've lost count of how many I've purchased, but this is definitely my staple in my make up bag. Highly recommended!!!

Everyone I have recommended the lip conditioner has so far LOVED it. Not only does it condition the lips but adds a hint of shine like lipgloss. I have very dry lips but this does the trick! I usually have to reapply lip cream very often but this tends to stay put. Love this lip cream!

I don't love nor dislike this product.
My likes are:
*convenient lipstick tube shape
*leaves a nice lip shimmer (not overly shiny like lip gloss), not as matte as regular blistex would be
The downfall:
*my lips don't feel any different from when I was using regular blistex
*a bit pricey for .05oz. especially when you factor in the shipping cost(check your regular size chap stick or blistex tube and see how much MORE it has)
I probably wouldn't order this product again because of the cost with added shipping.
I can go to bath & body works or sephora and get something just as good if not better for less money.
Burt's Bees lip balm works the same for about $4.00.

this is a so so product...waxy consistency, that petroleum like taste, not my favorite. It basically just sits there but does not really mosturize...sephoras professional balm is way better....I would definiteley not repurchase.

This is for the reformulated version, which is now called Lip Cream. I agree with the previous reviewer that this makes a perfect base for lipstick or gloss and is an all-around great lip treatment! It's the only one I've ever used that I can put on at night and wake up to baby soft, smooth lips! I've tried so many lip conditioners from low-end to high-end and this is by far my favorite. I use it at night and also during the day under lipstick and it not only moisturizes but seems to make my lipstick last longer. My lips look fuller because they're not chapped or dry. It also doesn't cause clogged pores which has sometimes been a problem for me with more emollient lip treatment products. A+!

I think this is now called Lip Cream and it is packaged in a pale pink lipstick like tube. I agree with the other reviewer that it is difficult to tell the top from the bottom. Unfortunatly this does cost $7 a tube and it's not exactly anything spectacular: no spf, no color, no scent, no flavor. The biggest downer for me is that I absolutely, 100 percent, freaking LOVE it!!! I have been blessed/cursed with voulumptous lips and I am very persnickety when it comes to lip products, chap stick will not do. This has the perfect consistancy for me and leaves your lips slightly glossy without blinding others. I use this alone and it's a great primer for gloss which just glides on over this. This is absolutely, without a doubt an HG for me.

This is pretty pricey for a lip balm, but sometimes when it suits your criteria perfectly...you have to buy...and repurchase! I love this because it's simple. It moisturizes, it's fragrance-free. It's perfect for nightime use and underneath lipsticks. (It's a great base coat to lipsticks that may otherwise dry you out.)
Now while I LOVE this product I should warn some that it does NOT contain an SPF. I wore this out on the beach one beautiful, bright, sunny summer day...and my lips were SERIOUSLY burned. It was as if I put Crisco on my lips and baked them on 450 degrees. My lips were red and swollen for a good week. Angelina Jolie's lips had NOTHING on me..but it wasn't a pretty look..it was more of a Courtney love effect. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT WEAR THIS ON THE BEACH. Wear a high SPF lipbalm instead.

I agree with the pros and the cons of this product as already listed. It's got a nice texture, but I actually prefer Body Coffee's java balm, at $2.99 on drugstore.com. Same squishy, oily texture that I like (that some of you will not like, so I'm describing it, for better or for worse.) The reason I'm adding a review is the BAD PACKAGING. This might not make sense but if you see a photo of the tube it will - the cap and the bottom of the tube are identical, and you never know which will come off when you pull. I.e., sometime you might get the top of your lip conditioner, and sometimes you will get the bottom half looking like lip gloss machinery. (and not very usable from that end!) So it doesn't have that pull problem when it is brand new, but soon, my dear... you will have this torment. Bwah ha ha ha.

I started using the lip conditioner a few months ago and I really like it. It adds a nice shine to your lips without being sticky or greasy.

I love this product. I purchase 4 at a time. What I like best about this conditioner is that it gives your lips a soft gloss, but it's not overbearing. After I apply the conditioner, i just line my lips with my lipliner and i'm good to go...I don't like regular lipbalms because they're too matte for my tastes.

For the price, it's not worth it. This is just an oilier version of Chap Stick. I prefer less of a greasy finish, like with a balm...my favorite lip product remains to be Burt's Bee's lip balm.

Nice lip balm, but $7 for all of .05 ounces is disgusting. Think about it, that's only 1/3 of what you'd get in a regular Chapstick size lip balm. I really do use this type of product so this won't even last three weeks.

This is a WONDERFUL lip balm. I have very dry lips, and this feels great, really penetrates and smoothes my flaky lips with a cushiony feel, instead of just leaving a greasy film on them like most other lip balms. I carry it with me all day.Try it!
Only complaint is it could use an SPF and the packaging is a bit dull--(but has recently been updated.)

This Lip Conditioner is wonderful! I agree that it is a bit fragile and looks a bit small, but don't disregard all of the product in the base of the tube. Also, DHC has introduced a new "Lip Cream" that is $7 for .05 oz and looks to have replaced the LC. The packaging looks as if they are trying to make it less frail and prone to breakage. Not sure if it is the same formula.

ok...where do I begin? This is:
-too greasy-too pricey for amount of product-and it broke even tho I didn't twist it up very far. Very dissapointing coming from a company whose products I usually love. Bleh. My Sally Hansen Advanced lip Repair is 100% better.

I guess I'm the only one who loves this lip balm :)
This is the balm I use at night because it's flavorless, fragrance-free, nonsticky, stays on, and is loaded with good ingredients. I wake up with soft, smooth lips. What's not to love?
