I tried a sample size of this product, and found it outstanding! I've been looking for a very moisturising cream for night time - I normally use a facial oil blend of macadamia and avocado, but needed something else on top for a bit extra. This cream fits the bill - perfect! I will definitely be buying a full-size version.

It's also rare to find a large skincare company that doesn't include any nasties in their products - very impressive!

This cream is fabulous. I bought unscented version and I love it. It is very expensive, the jar is just 35 ml, but the quality is outstanding, I have dry/normal skin and it is not greasy at all, very calming, I love it is natural organic product and I am in love with it. Will definitely buy again and highly recommend it! It is SAFE to use no chemicals, no parabens etc. I absolutely OK that the jar is looking cheap, this is the cream which works! Some products have wonderful packaging but do nothing for skin. LOVE IT

Meh. Middle of the road. I'll be trying another Mychelle cream for my overnight option. This one is neither great nor awful. Doesn't give me that same clean, smooth, silky skin feeling that the Mychelle sunscreen does. I also don't like that it comes in a jar, I'd prefer a tube so that I don't feel like I'm contaminating it whenever I dip my fingers in.

Well, I'm still ambivalent about this product. I've purchased it twice and use it occasionally. Deep Repair Cream is VERY VERY emollient so unless you have REALLY dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it for your normal moisturizer at night, and day time, forget it -- for me anyway. I bought the unscented both times, and tend to use it in the winter when my skin is driest. It has kind of an herbally smell, which I actually like, but perhaps others wouldn't. It does, however, do a GREAT job of improving the look and texture of my skin...it makes it look very fresh and dewy upon awakening. So...for a specialty cream for occasional use like once a week, you may like it, or for windburn after skiing, or sunburn.

I'm a big fan of ReVive's Moisturizing Renewal cream but not a fan of it's $165 price tag. Found out that MyChelle contains EGF like the ReVive cream does and costs way less at $24 for an ounce compared to $165 for 2 oz of ReVive's cream. This goes on nicely, does not clog pores and smells amazing. Even out my skintone and keeps breakouts at bay. I've not used this for more than a week so I can't vouch for this long term. If my skin continues to get along with this then I will happily buy a full size jar once my trial size runs out. So far this is a great item! EDIT 5/15/09 Still loving this. Will say that 1) it doesn't work as quickly as ReVive's Moisturizing Renewal Cream and 2) the box says to use a small amount on the face and that's really the best way to go. I used too much of the product a couple times and woke in the morning with a couple blemishes. Problem fixed when I used the amount suggested by the company.

I LOVE LOVE the fruit enzymes of Mychelle's facial cleansing lines toners, creams, cleansers, , fantastic!! My complexion looks even toned, flawless, and it even diminished my laugh lines a little, My complexion looks darn healthier, and IM WELL PLEASED, Plus at first hearing MANY MANY EXCELLENT reviews on this product, i thought it is all a hyped up products for the temporary, but No, its for real!!! Many women of color Also Loves this product line, and is selling like crazy even at our local health food store, after trying out the testers I WAS SOLD!!! I got the fruit enzyme line, and normally fruit enzymes would irritate my sensitive skin and make me have a bad sinus attack, but this one Did great for me, No allergic reactions!!! thank you Lord!!!! I highly recommend this Mychelle Facial Lines!!!

I've been using this cream off and on (I go between this and the Pumpkin Renew Cream) for a year and a half now. I really like it. It gives me the extra moisture my skin needs during the winter. I haven't tried the "new" version yet. Hopefully it hasn't changed too much. I just wish it came in a pump instead of a jar!

Well, I really love this product. I began using it about a month ago, when the night cream I'd happily been using for almost two years no longer seemed to be working it's magic. My skin seemed congested, lined, and I began developing small red, scaly patches along with overall dryness in general. I have a basketful of sample/travel-sized products, and for whatever reason, this one just called out to me.

This cream seemed a bit heavy and "greasy" to me at first, but it absorbed well and immediately softened my skin. Soon my skin was plumped up, too, so I used it again that day and the next. After just 2 days' use, one of my coworkers asked me if I was doing something different because my face was "just glowing - it's lovely". A couple of days later, another coworker said the same thing. A week later the man I was interested in (and am now dating) complimented me on my "lovely, soft skin". He thought I was at most 28, not 38. I went out and bought my first jar.

Maybe I'm just accustomed to the smell of brewing beer and live-yeast baking, but I don't notice any "foul" odour with this cream. I was a little apprehensive at first because I had a bad reaction to an AHA product, so any "acid", be it AHA, BHA, glycolic, makes me a little nervous. I noticed a definite tingling with this at first, but it wasn't painful, caused no rash, and I don't feel it anymore. I had about 2 days of very mild peeling about 2 weeks in, and that's gone, too.

Overall this product has markedly improved the appearance and texture of my skin. It is softer, smoother, plumper, less congested, the lines are greatly diminished and my little sunspots are fading. I'm not bothered by any smell, it absorbs well for me, and it works well with my sunscreen; I've also tried it a couple of times under my other night cream (what to do with it?) and that was fine. I use it twice a day. I would prefer a glass jar as being recyclable, but the plastic is sturdy and light and packs well. At $30-something per jar this is not cheap, but it's not expensive, and for me it's well worth it, given it's great results.

I agree with many of the reviews here. I tried the new, reformulated version of this cream. It *is* stinky but not as horrible as previously described, IMO. The smell goes away, too. My problem? It doesn't sink into my skin. The cream stays on top and just sits there...and looks shiny. I used very little of this cream, too. So far, I am really UNimpressed with Mychelle's reformulated line. I like this company and their older products, but IMO it is like a whole new deal entirely. I wish they had left everything alone. UPDATE: Well, I have to eat my words a little bit...and raise this to three lippies. I have been meaning to take this back to the store but just haven't gotten around to it. I used *very* little when applied. My skin felt supple. Then, I noticed that I 'd wake up to better looking skin. My skin looks really nice. I use this primarily as a night cream, but sometimes over NoTox in the AM. I don't think this will be a good summer daytime cream - too heavy. I'll update again as I go along. ::shrugs:: I am glad I still have this cream. UPDATE UPDATE: I REALLY am still liking this. A lot. I raised it a lippy. My skin has a glowy look and the refined appearance you usually get with a heavy dose of AHAs. There have been times thta I used too much, so with a damp washcloth I lightly wipe off the excess. No problem. At this rate, I would buy this again. UPDATE A YEAR LATER: So, I was looking for a heavier moisturizer for fall and winter and picked up a trial size. This was too heavy for spring and summer so I didn't repurchase right away. Guess what? It still had all the nice things I liked last time, but my skin was definitely pink and irritated...it burned my skin (lightly, but still). When I used this with the NoTox last year, I thought THAT was the problem and source of irritation. I guess it was the cream. I do think it could work great for others, but I am not going to continue this. I *wish* Mychelle still had their original pumpkin cream with the yummy smell.

Upon opening the jar, the fragrance just hit me like a ton of brick, why do they all put fragrance in skincare? Its so stupid. I don't care if the source is natural or artificial. Like all heavy/oily based moisturiser, it takes a little time to sink in. In my case, I do it about 2 hours before bedtime. And like all heavy moisturiser, it does its job & resulting in smoother skin. With tons of non-fragrance skincare in the market, I will just save this for the neck only.

This is a very tentative review as I have only had this product for a few weeks. It is a very thick formula with a rather odd scent - yeasty with hints of lavender. I got it as a present because someone knew I love my Incredible Pumpkin Peel from MyChelle and also believe in their business. As someone with easily congested skin there is no way I would use something this thick all over my face. So I use it around my eyes and on my neck and chest at night. I wanted to write this review because a few months ago I noticed my first ever sunspot - on my cheek. I was really bummed out because I have very very few lines or signs of aging -this is the first one! However, after having applied this cream to it for a few weeks, it really is fading. It's not gone entirely but it is much less noticable. I will give an edit in a few weeks, but for now it looks like it really might have some effective properties on the cellular level besides just moisture...

I loved the old formula for this and hate the new formula. I have oily, acne prone skin that tends to be drier in the fall and winter. I also have fine lines on my forehead. The old formula was the perfect weight moisturizer for when my skin was drier. After a few weeks of use, the fine lines were plumped and my skin seemed firmer overall. The old formula was lightweight, pearlescent, absorbed quickly, and had a pleasant herbal smell. When I bought a new jar the first thing I noticed was the rotten smell. I have worked in a medical lab and smelled a decomposing body, and it smelled exactly like the new formula of Deep Repair Cream. The product also did not absorb and sat on my skin. All day I could smell the nastiness of the fragrance in this product. The previous formula was superior to the new formula. I can't believe Mychelle would stay with the new formula when the old formula performed better. I don't like how Mychelle makes it difficult for customers to contact them. A phone call during business hours is not always easy. I don't appreciate that the contact us by e-mail option on their website is ONLY for love letters. I don't think it's too much to ask to provide a customer service e-mail when I spend hundreds of dollars a year on Mychelle products.

This used to be my absolute favorite cream. However, I recently bought a new jar, the first one since they changed the formulation. I truely stinks horribly and I don't like the way it feels on my skin anymore. It does not seem to be hydrating my skin like it used to. It also used to be a very good base for make-up but not anymore. It seems very drying on my skin. I will not use this anymore. I am so mad that they ruined this cream that was perfect before and now sucks.

This product works great for me. Hydrates & smooths nicely. Not the best scent, but I don't find it strong. I use this morning & night in conjunction with Mychelle's No-Tox anti wrinkle serum (which is FABulous, btw)

I agree with the comments about this product's odor. In fact, my boyfriend thought I had used mayonnaise on my face after I went for a run. Something about my skin warming up / getting slightly sweaty mixing with this cream which I had applied earlier.

That said, I think the EGF works. my skin feels plump and hydrated after I use this cream. Currently, I use it as a night cream right after washing my face, then I apply retin-a. The cream makes a good buffer for that, which I need. In the morning, a little dab goes under my sunscreen. I really feel like this cream makes my skin look younger and plumper, so I'm not about to stop using it. I try to disguise the odor by using other products on top or on other areas of my body.

I just bought another jar of this cream, FWIW

I used to like this product. Then I bought a new jar, opened it, and found that it stank to high heaven. I called customer service to see what was up, and it turns out they changed their formulation, adding more yeasty-stuff that they claim is good for your skin. I don't care how well it works if it smells that bad! I also was very dissatisfied with their customer service. They wouldn't let me return it directly to them; said I had to take it back to the store, but I no longer had the receipt and didn't want to trek across the city to do it. Pretty rotten way to treat a loyal customer (which I'm not anymore).

My skintype: combo, sensitive
I had thought Mychelle may be a good choice for my highly reactive skin right now. I was quite wrong!! Initially, I liked the consistency of this cream - quite light and absorbed quickly- it felt quite good on my skin all night. Before bed, I wondered if it was moisturizing enough, because I felt a little dry. Thank goodness I didn't apply any more. I woke up to several cysts along my hair and jaw line. It has been several days later and my skin is still a mess. I used this with the Honeydew cleanser (I know - not smart to try 2 at once), which was equally unpleasant for my skin. I promptly returned to Whole Foods the next day.

I purchased the full size of this product after using a sample for about two weeks. It seemed like a nice moisturizer, and I hoped after perhaps six to eight weeks of usage, I would have a slight reduction in fine lines. After two weeks of purchasing the full size product and using daily I began to break out on my face. I have continued to use the product six weeks now on my neck and chest, hoping to help combat a little of the creppieness that I've developed. It has done absolutely nothing except moisturize the area. I love the Mychelle Incredible Pumpkin Peel, but this product is a huge disappointment.

Last weekend I got really sunburned. I slathered Deep Repair Cream and Night Revitalizing Cream and used the fruit mist during the day and 3 days later my skin is looking great. Sure I peeled, but the mist was very calming (in a cold, dry, air-conditioned office). I noticed a huge difference every morning and I'm sure the creams really helped to repair my skin.

TRIAL PERIOD: 1 week.
MY SKIN TYPE: I have occasional breakouts AND combination dry skin.
SMELL: It kinda has a slight hint of a yeast smell because one of the ingredients is Epidermal Growth Factor which they state, "is a polypeptide (a protein molecule) that stimulates cell repair. From yeast." At first, I didn't like the smell much but after I smelled it a few times I liked it. If I put it on, by the end of the day when I wash it off...when I'm splashing water on my face I can smell this odor after the water hits my face and this odor kinda smells like old yeast. But keep in mind, that this may sound a bit exaggerated, okay? It's not that bad, I'm just being really detailed. Now love the smell except when it touches water when wash it off.
TEXTURE: When it's on my face, it does not have a shiney appearance and doesn't look oily which is why I like it. It makes your face have a matte look like you don't have anything on. Most creams I put on make my skin look a bit shiney but not this one.
EFFECTIVENESS: I tried MyChelle's Pumpkin Renew Cream which is suppose to be for acne skin but I found that the Deep Repair Cream doesn't cause blemishes but the Pumpkin Renew Cream does a little which is odd since it's suppose to be for acne skin. So MyChelle told me to listen to my skin. I sampled it for one week and noticed that my skin flaws seem to repair/heal faster! My overal skin tone color seem to look better, too. It moisturizes my skin without causing blemishes nor breakouts nor shininess.
