This is a lovely color which is a light, honey-ish brown. Its a nice nude, on the lighter side. I will repurchase when I run out.

I was looking for an alternative to MAC Spice. I find Spice to be much too orangey to be a true nude/neutral lipliner. LM's Chestnut is my 'lips shade' neutral, but I wanted one that was more nude and not pink/brown. This is it. It doesn't have the nasty orange tone that Spice had. It isn't too deep or too light. I'm not sure why my review differs so much from the one below. I'm actually getting ready to repurchase since mine is almost empty.

This is the kind of lipliner I don't like - the crayon-ish, twist up variety. Overdoing it can make you look like a clown, so when it comes to Clinique's Lip Shaping Liner, please use a light hand. Honeystick is a beautiful brownish red shade that I mistakenly thought would give me a neutral lip. I would recommend this to those who have naturally ruby red lips, or for those who are looking for the perfect liner to complement their brick lipsticks.
