Love this makeup remover for removing long wear foundation! It's non-irritating and leaves my skin feeling nourished. I haven't tried it on eye makeup because I use makeup removing wipes for that but I love it for the rest of my face. It removes everything without a trace! Highly recommend

I like this remover, but not well enough to repurchase. It leaves my skin very soft and smooth, but it blurs my vision and it takes quite some effort to remove even non-waterproof mascara. Kanebo's Freeplus Beauty Oil Cleanser does a better job.

This is one of my favorites the other being Mary Kay's & Lancomes. If I need remover and there is no shipping offers (because it makes it that much more expensive) I turn to Neutragena, however they do animal testing and don't want to do that again. Compared to that, this removes makeup better and has glycerin which I didn't see on the other ingredient list. I notice my lids look less dry after using Paula's. I also like there is a barrier with a hole so the whole spout isn't open to knock over when my eyes are closed feeling around for my cleanser bottle as well! The only complaint I have is now she put on a stupd comment with her signature about "want no puffy lids, don't sleep with your makeup on" or something like that. I think that is dumbing down people a bit especially those who bought it to do the opposite of, but otherwise good product.

This makeup remover left my dry and sensitive skin feeling a little dry and irritated. Also, it didn't seem to remove makeup well or quickly.

This did not remove all my eye makeup. I do not wear waterproof mascara and this still didn't get it all off. I tried Mary Kay's version years ago and I have yet to find anything that compares to it.

When I saw that this was a bi-phase remover, I thought, "I'm going to hate this." However, I love it. It does the job without leaving any residue. And because I use Boot's Extra Facecloths for cleaning, I need a make-up remover that doesn't require it's own cleanser. My only complaint - like the other writers - is that the bottle is too small for the price. It lasts me about six weeks when I use it on a daily basis. I find that true with the Paula's Choice products that I like: small amount for the price.

While I do like this product; it's better than any other biphase remover I've used; I do have a couple complaints. First, the price. It is one of the more pricier items for the amount you get. The bottle is small and doesn't last long; you have to soak the cotton pad with the remover. Secondly, you do have to wipe a bit to remove all of the mascara (especially the lower lashline) I try to minimize this by holding the soaked pad on my eye for a about 30 seconds before wiping but I still find that I have to rub too much for my liking. I will repurchase as I haven't found anything better. IMO, the remover was MUCH better before the reformulation and I wish they'd bring it back.

This makeup remover is wonderful. Though a bit over-priced, it works very, very well. You don't have to use a heavy hand when removing eyelid makeup. It almost melts it away. A definite keeper!

This "bi-level/shake-it-before-you-use-it" eye makeup remover is similar in concept to Lancome's Bi-Facil, Clinique's Take the Day Off, and also Neutrogena's Oil-Free versions, but this works even better for me. Lancome's was my previous HG, but at almost 1/2 the price for roughly the same amount, PC's Gentle Touch is my new go-to eye m/u remover. Additionally, Bi-Facil felt a tad greasier on the lids afterwards, though nothing terrible--more in a "I just put on an eye cream" way. I realize w/ PC's stuff, you have to factor in shipping, but I usually stock up during sales or free-shipping promotions, so I'm fine w/ that. Anyway, this dissolves and removes all eye m/u very easily w/o irritating my sensitive eyes, blurring my visions or leaving a greasy residue (A side note before I forget: the skin around my eyes is REALLY dry, so I generally don't have problems w/ a greasy feeling). To use: shake the bottle well, get a bit on a cotton pad, hold in place over your closed eye for a few seconds or more, then very gently swipe the residue off. No need to scrub mascara or liner off or to tug at your eye area. Personally, most of my eye makeup just comes off from holding it over my eye, so the wiping part is very minimal. Also, in case you're curious, Clinique's TTDO remover required a little more elbow grease to get everything off and Neutrogena's Oil-Free did very little in the removal department, plus it made my eyes sting and burn.

I am sorry to give a Paula's Choice a low rating, but I hated this eye makeup remover. Granted I am not a fan of bi-phase eye makeup removers. but Paula's description of it made me think that I might like it. Also, there are much better bi-phase products out there (e.g. Neutrogena). What bothered me most with this product was the oily residue and the artificial chery-almond smell - no fragrance, but contains Benzyl Alcohol as a preservative. I have thrown out an almost full bottle, and won't purchase again.

I found this m/u remover to be ok. The directions state it can be used before or after cleansing. When I use it before cleansing it did a great job of removing eye m/u and I followed up with my usual cleanser. If I use this after cleansing without rinsing to remove left over m/u residue it leaves a greasy slippery texture on my face and I find within 5 - 10 minutes my face burns. I have used far better m/u removers therefore I wouldn't repurchase.

This product completely removes all traces of EVERYTHING I plaster on my face (I use all long-wearing products, some of which are very challenging to remove). I was an avid fan of this product until I recently got my new bottle, and it broke me out in massive hives. I checked the ingredients, and none of them seemed to have changed. I don't know what's up, but, it's now replaced by Clinique's Take the Day Off--which leaves my face equally soft, clean, and is equal in price and quality.
I give it a 4, because I know it's an effective, good-quality produce. I wouldn't repurchase because of an obvious allergy-issue. BTY, my samples don't break me out, only, the bottle. Huh!

I love this makeup remover! It's silicone based so it takes it all of with out feeling geasy yet it's kinda moisturizing. Also removes waterproof mascara and it's color and fragrance free.

This is always part of my end-of-day skin routine when I've been wearing makeup. I don't use it for eye makeup removal (Almay pads) and I don't wear any waterproof makeup so I don't know how well it would work for that. I use it AFTER I wash my face to remove any last traces of makeup. It works wonderfully and leaves my skin soft and smooth. I have a lot of trouble with makeup removers being drying/irritating, and this one does nothing but good things for my face. So glad I found it! Definite HG material!

This product removes waterproof mascara and gel eyeliner quickly and efficiently without irritating my eyes. However, I find that Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm and all the Paula's Choice cleansers also remove eye makeup well, even waterproof makeup, so I don't really need this product. If I ever start using a more tenacious eye makeup product, though, I will repurchase this remover because it works so well while still being gentle.

There is nothing gentle about this product. I bought a sample pack. The minute I opened the pack I could smell the alcohol (yes, my nose is that sensitive). I thought, well, maybe that doesn't mean anything. I tried the product, and it burned. Unfortunately, the only product that doesn't bother my eyes is the Lancolm Bifacile - I say unfortunately because of the price. But, I guess that's the way it goes.

I used to LOVE this product. It wasn't greasy, was non-irritating, and worked very well for me. At some point (the company tells me it was last summer), they reformulated it into one of those bi-level products, where half of it is oily, and you have to shake it before use. Apparently, at the same time they started adding the preservative benzalkonium chloride to it. I am very allergic to this preservative. I couldn't figure out why my eyes were always tearing in the morning, and thought it was my sinuses. The nurse I spoke to through my health insurance recently suggested that my eyes are experiencing some kind of inflammation, so I went back and read the ingredients of this product, and that's when I realized what the problem was. I stopped using it, and both my eyes and nose have cleared up. Most of the other Paula's Choice products are great, but I wanted to warn people that even with trusted brands, you have to read the ingredients!
However, I should add that the company was very nice about refunding the cost of all of the bottles I had stocked up on, regardless whether I had purchased them recently, because I had a reaction.

Okay, let me start by saying that to me, Lancome Bi-Facil is the gold standard to which I compare everything else. But its just too expensive.

So how does this stack up? Pretty well. It has a scent like no masking agent or perfume has been added, which is good, because its one less thing to potentially irritate the eyes. I only use makeup remover to take of my eye makeup, not my whole face. I rely on my cleanser to remove my face makeup.

This broke down my mascara quickly and cleanly, and had a less oily feel than Bi-Facil, and spending $15 is much better than $24.

This product has silicone, & it feels slippery & oily but technically its oil-free. Its like saying alcohol is moisturizing b/c glycerin belongs to the family of alcohol. 'Nough said, I like this cleanser, especially on those nights when I couldn't wait to get to bed. Using this with one cotton pad is never enough, if you go over face & neck with 3 cotton pads, the product can go pretty fast (for $15 a pop) However, I will keep a couple of this for backup, excellent when traveling.

I can't imagine why anyone would say this is oily. It's a runny liquid that will dry a couple minutes after putting it on the skin and won't leave any film or anything. This does exactly what it says it does: easily removes make up, including stubborn mascara. It also has antioxidants, anti-irritants and moisturizer. I don't think there's any other make up remover I would trade for this one.
