NOT stephanotis, however if you love carnation and white flowers this is for you. There is a pretty green jasmine note which makes this a perfect bridal scent. I would not repurchase simply because I prefer more sophisticated scents. Adding I believe this is now discontinued.

I think this is now discontinued. I have this in the home fragrance burner oil. It came with a warmer disc you put on your lightbulb. The thing was way vintage, with King Edward written under the royal seal instead of Queen Lizzie. So, on an insert it says "place the ASBESTOS ring..." Yikes! Anyway, I just thought I'd share. Smells wonderful, and I'm usually a harsh critic of whiteflower smelly things. It has a very fatty rich smell, which I like, better than sneezy things that get stuck in my nose. Or perhaps it is just the aged-ness and method of use that improves it.

I don't like this as a fragrance but LOVE the body lotion. It's so fresh and summery, it actually smells of white flowers in a green English garden after it's rained. I was excited to try the fragrance but it smells different - not as green and pure as the body lotion.

Big disappointment. It is a very musty scent, even weird smelling. Simply gross!!

I agree with Dolcevita - IMO it's not a stephanotis soliflore. I was charmed with the Floris website's description... But, Something in this fragrance reminds me a funeral room (maybe the big quantity of carnation)and gives an "old-fashioned" air to a scent that could have been nice. Damage :-(!!

I don't think of this as a stephanotis soliflore. This is to me a spicy, somewhat clove-like scent thanks to the overdose of carnation in it. I might as well wear Malmaison because that's what it reminds me of. However, if I'm in the mood for carnation spice, I like this EDT better than Malmaison EDT which I find too strong. Stephanotis is very nice as a body lotion.

As the name suggests, this scent is principally evocative of stephanotis, a member of the jasmine family. It opens with a delightful airy hit of orange blossom, which fades all too quickly. There are also subtle peppery notes of carnation and coriander underlying, and it might have been a better scent if these had been drawn out more. As it is, it is over-softened and a little bland for my tastes, perhaps in an effort to make it suitable for both men and women, which it undoubtedly is. But in bath product format, it makes a fine base for many floral scents, especially those containing jasmine.
