Living in the UK, Victoria's Secret has only recently come to the mainstream. Previously, it was (and still is) available in specialist hair care shops in the big cities - the type that sell weaves, coconut butter and tropical oils. Finsbury Park, Dalston and Brixton boast them in abundance; treasure troves of rich, tropical elixirs. For this reason, we don't have the memories of Love Spell from school. I've never smelled Love Spell on the bus.
Love Spell is a juicy, peach and anise cocktail to my nose, and it lasts longer than most VS body sprays. I wouldn't really say it smells that much more chemically than regular tinned peach juice, though it certainly lacks the sophistication of a fresh peach, straight from the branch.
I like this. It's enjoyable to spray it liberally on a hot day. I wouldn't wear it around Americans, because you'd recognise it for what it is, but believe it or not, I've had more than a couple of compliments from sporting this one. My friends know I'm a perfume geek, so they assume it's something more special.

I purchased this because of peoples positive comments about it and its popularity. And i am disappointed. It smells so simple and cheap. So now i use it as air conditioner.

Smells amazing. One time, when I was at school, I was about to spray this on me and MY CRUSH wanted to smell it from the bottle so I passed it to him. He sniffed it and said it smells nice. ooooh yeaaaahh

This is gross, it was great in high school when everyone wore it. now that I'm older its disgusting and i cant imagine why I ever cared for it to begin with. The scent is sickly sweet and the only long lasting thing about this spray/scent is the migraine it causes.

I've been using this scent since high school and I still love it as much as i did the first day i bought it. I'm sure every girl at one point or another has used this spray because it's cheap and smells amazing.It has a floral scent that stays on for a long time and i like the packaging because it is plastic and not glass. I always bring this with me when i travel and receive many compliments on it. Great scent for spring! I highly suggest buy at your local Victoria's Secret

I got the body butter in this scent, and it smelled so good! It was sweet and fruity but floral at the same time. I don't like overly fruity sweet scents or very floral scents either, and this is right in the middle. I really wanna get this in this body spray so the scent stays longer and I can spray it on whenever I like. I honestly don't know why people dislike the smell of Love Spell, maybe it brings back bad memories, idk. The new packaging of Love Spell smells super good though, not overpowering at all, so they probably changed the formula.

I give this a 3 because I am sick and tired of this scent. Everybody and their mother owns this and wear it on a daily basis! The scent was fantastic to me in highschool, but like I said I am sick and tired of it now. Might repurchase in the future if people stop wearing so much which I highly doubt...

A friend gave this to me once. I use it every so often, but I'm not too fond of it. It's a very fruity fragrance, and I don't tend to like smells like that. I usually go for more floral scents. But it's good for anyone who likes fruity scents.

This is very cloying. And migraine inducing. Not sure what kind of love spell this is, but stay away from this one!!!!!

It's very fruity and kind of reminds me of air freshener. It seems like every teenage girl wears this body spray. Oh and also, since this is so well known, most women can identify it

I think most girls used to have this one at least once in their lives. I used to like this in high school ( or about 5 years ago ). It smells okay, very juicy fruity, floral but I don't like it on me anymore. I also don't like smelling it for more than a minute. Its sweetness is just overpowering. Maybe younger girls can still smell the appeal. But don't get me wrong, it does smell good. I just won't wear it. Another reason for that is because everybody seems to smell of this. Sooo not unique.

i love the smell. To me it smells like peach juice, a juice made out of the world's finest and freshest peaches. Its a great summer smell, makes you think of gardens in heaven (mostly the peach trees). But the sad part is, its lasts for a short period of time, so short I can't get myself any compliments for it :(
EDIT: it doesn't last for a short period of time, I got myself compliments on it so you may not be able to smell it yourself to know if the smell is still lingering on you but i did get compliments on it so Kudos to that :D! i am yet keeping it to 4 lippies because I like 'be seduced' fragrance more :)

This is the only Victoria's secret scent I have every product in. The scent smells a bit like oranges after long wear and it smells sweet and fruity. Love spell is extremely strong smelling, so minimal sprays are needed. Even with one or two sprays, the scent stays on all day and by the time the day is over I can still smell it on myself. I have received numerous compliments on this scent compared to any other scent I have worn. I wear this to school 90% of the time, and it never lets me down.

It does smell good sweet and girly but it doesn't last at all.I was looking for a change after pure seduction and I'm really disappointed.That one was much better

I love this body mist! My cousin came to visit me & we went to Victoria's Secret in the mall. We were looking at all the different body sprays & she sprayed this one in the air....I fell in love. I've been using this ever since. It smells so fresh & fruity, not overpowering at all. It smells identical to this body spray that bath & body works used to sell, I forgot what it was called, but they discontinued it. So I was happy to find this. I will definitely repurchase:)

I really liked the smell at first and then I got so sick of it and so did my fiance. Also, it lasts all of 2 seconds. I don't think I'd get it again. It smells flowery and peachy.

I got this recently in a gift set with 5 other VS body mists, this is by far my favourite!!!! Love Spell is such a unique scent. It is fruity, but there's something else to it that I can't quite put my finger on but I'm obsessed with it. For a body mist the scent lasts a good while and during the day I catch whiffs of that are heavenly mixed with my body chemisty. I will continue to purchase Love Spell on its own, its perfect and my new signature scent I think.

Honestly, this scent just screams 'Migraine! Migraine!' to me whenever I smell it on someone else. I used to have the body butter (I've actually never owned the body spray, but since this has more reviews than the body butter, I thought I would just put it here).

I've long since gotten rid of the body butter, I gave it to my more-than-joyous best friend who loves it. It shouldn't be called Love Spell, it should be rightfully called 'Headache Spell.' Cloying, heavy, my nose felt like it was about to start bleeding, that's how strong the scent has always been to me lol. I'm more of a perfume type of gal now, and have mostly ended my time of every girl's 'rite of passage' with Victoria's Secret. I've moved on, with the exception of keeping the Vanilla Lace body butter, and Luscious Kisses body spray. I do still enjoy those scents (well, I think Luscious Kisses came out recently, though). But Love Spell, ugh, seriously, I NEVER liked it, even when I was a teenybopper in middle school. In my opinion, girls are pretty brave for wearing this out in public.

lol but seriously, if this body spray isn't girly enough for you then nothing is.
It literally smells like fruit loops or something like that...seriously.
This is not something that you should ever wear at a job interview, but for a fun night out, why not?
I like this smell so I'd recommend :)
