This is a review for the MAC Veluxe Brow Liner in Brunette. I ordered this product and the eye brown crayon in Lingering at the same time, both sight unseen online. I have been searching for a brown pencil with no warm/red undertones which, I never realized, is difficult to find.
The MAC website describes this color as "a medium brown with a subtle gray tinge", I can't say that see any gray tinge, but it definitely does not come off warm or reddish, so that is a win. It is a lot lighter than I would have thought, definitely a light brown, not a medium brown. This pencil includes a spoolie, which is great, helps to make brows more natural looking after using the pencil, and the pencil its self seems to possibly have some waxy product which helps to keep brows in place. Overall this is a good product, if I hadn't bought the brow crayon at the same time I might think this is a superior product, however, I think the pencil is a bit too soft, even using the lightest hand you cant help but almost color in your brows, rather than define the brows, like with the crayon product. I would like to try a darker color in this product, as I do like the waxy texture to keep brows in place. This is a very long pencil and if you use a light hand like I did it will last quite a while.

Overall rating of 4, product is amazing! Downside is that it is costly and will run out quick if you fill in your brows daily like I do. I paid $16 for it and it is my new HG brow product. I may have to stock up because it goes so quick. I was going to get it in Spiked but I wanted to go for a natural look so I chose this and its an ash brown.. Such a beautiful color. Hope this helps!

I have to say that this is an amazing product and great brown colour without the red undertone. It is quick and easy to use (especially in the morning when you are rushing to work).
But I do have one issue with this...I find that my pencil finished so quickly. I'm sure I used this roughly for about 5 weeks. Is this normal or am I just so used to using eyeshadow that I expected it to last a lot longer?

I've been using Mac's eye brow pencil for years. I used to get it in Spike, and I got Brunette this time as i wanted more natural brows. This is easy to apply and lasts all day. Its an automatic pencil that you twist but it only twist one way out and you cannot retact it back. The lead is tiny and saves the hassle of sharpening pencils.
This lasts forever and i prefer this to other pencils as they tends to be dryer and harder to apply. Despite being easy to apply, this lasts well.

This brow pencil saved me. I was having such a hard time making my brows look natural. My brows looked so harsh no matter what I used to fill them in with. I could never find the right shade. I have this in Lingering and it is my perfect match. Now my brows look so well groomed and it doesn't matter if I mess up tweezing, you can't tell. They just look so nice and perfectly arched. Its not too expensive either. I will buy this again and again. My new HG brow product!

This stick is great! It's SO fine and sharp... you can draw on each hair! After I plucked my brows and put this on, they were flawless! It gave me a strong arch and it easily gave me a strong 'square' look at the bridge that I really like. I used to use Avon Glimmersticks brow pencil in 'blonde,' but the color wasn't dark enough for my hair, and the stick was too fat. Brunette is a perfect shade. I bought this on ebay ($5!), but I was trying to buy the wax-style Brow Finisher... I was glad I got this by mistake. I gave this a 5 for price, even though it ended up being free with a refund, but I think it's a reasonable price for a product that is so superior. I really feel like a hottie now because my brows look so good! It gives a put-together look.

Precision ++ Excellent precise lines with this package shape my chiseled brows with ease. Good Color balance is not too red or too ash for natural results. One of my biggest complaints about most brow liners is the amount of product left on the hairs, too much pigment or inability to match my natural brunette hair color. Mac is very good at offering many accurate shades so you will not be disappointed.

After using this for about a week, I thought it was a great product. It glides on smooth and stays on all day, the color is really close to my eye shade and its easy to apply. However, I don't really like the fact that it can't be sharpened .. maybe the designers ought to take cue from Shiseido's Pied Nus range's eyebrow pencil. The angle is always there.

I'm wondering too if this is the right area to post this in, but I will anyway. I have this in Lingering, and I'm WILD about it!!! Goes on well, sticks around, and the slim twist-up design means no sharpening. I get a very natural look with very little effort. In fact, when I was at the counter, the SA asked me whether I wanted the pencil or powder, and when I asked what the difference was, she said "work." The powder was more of a hassle, and this is super easy. I'll definitely purchase this again.

I hope this is the right place to review "Pencil - Eye Brows". This pencil is probably the worst purchase I've ever made from MAC. It has a "twist-up" mechanism that pushes the product up (like a mechanical pencil) and just like a mechanical pencil, it can't be sharpened. I don't know about you, but an eyebrow pencil that can't be sharpened is a waste. Whoever designed this needs a smack on the back of the head.

I gave this pencil a swing when I decided to give brow pencils a swing. I'm still a bit of a klutz when it comes to brow pencils.
This works well and does what it shoud do, but I simply prefer using the Brun Eyeshadow and the #266 Brush.
I may take this along instead of my shadow-and-brush combo for travelling, though.

This pencil was multitasking, though I found it slightly too dark for my brows, not the best I've tried, not savingly inexpenxive, and boring in packaging. Its saving grace was the fact that I could use it as an eyeliner after softening it by heating it with a hairdryer or as a lipliner to my darker lipsticks with more coverage.

this is good not too much too say about it other than it matches my eyebrows perfectly.
