I like this toner, the only advantage of this bottle is the hole is quite big so it's hard to adjust how much toner you needed. It moisturizes skin quite effective and love the smell of it. It can be used for sensitive skin, just make sure you choose the one for dry/delicated skin one.

i found this to be just an ok toner, nothing really special to it and nothing bad about it except for the smell-didnt like it much. i think it is too pricey for an average toner and i wont be buying again

Love the packaging and the smell. And I like that it contains some alcohol cus it gets all my makeup traces and flakies off. Alcohol isn't too harsh to strip away the natural oil on my skin. My skin is left refreshed and clean. But it doesn't make any noticeable improvement on my skin. Hence, 4 stars.

I was a die-hard user of Clinique's Clarifying lotion #2 prior to switching to Tonique Clarté.

What I like about it is the fact that the product has just the right amount of alcohol to effectively clean my skin -- getting all the bits of cleanser off and any remaining oil-- without drying it up.

I could see using this even as a cleanser, it's so gentle.

I normally don't use toners (normal-to-dry skin) but this came in a set. It dried out my skin so I returned it.

I have been using Clinique three step for a few years now. My skin was in great condition. My pores were normal. No breakouts. Minimal shine in my t zone. Not flaky in my cheeks. Now that I am in my thirties though I thought that it was time I upgrade to Lancome. It seemed more luxurious and I am getting concerned about fine lines anti aging etc...Big mistake. I purchased Tonique Clarte for my Normal/combo skin. This stuff has a very perfumey smell. A nice smell but if you have sensitive skin or allergies to smells stay far away from this product. It is very thick for a liquid. Most of it ran off the cotton ball instead of the cotton ball absorbing it. I think it is breaking me out. I have breakouts all over my t zone now. I have more oil in my t zone then ever before and I do not feel clean after I use it. It is almost too moisturizing instead of astringent. And it is kinda expensive for a toner in my opinion. I do not recommend this product and I would not purchase again. In fact I am getting ready to return it to the store for some Clinique.

I got this and the lancome cleanser as a gift. I've used this about 5 times but I haven't noticed anything special. I don't use toners usually and after this I won't be trying any other toners. I like to keep my skincare routine simple. Well since this is the first toner I've used I can't really compare it to any others but it doesnt make a big diff vs. not using anything at all in my opinion.

The smell is what first sold me, like eucalyptus...then the fact that it felt so refreshing on my sensitive skin. I really like how it feels cooling. I don't know why I ever stopped using Lancome...probably b/c of the price, but its worth it to get this toner.*

Ugh, this is the worst toner for my skin. I have oily/blemished but sensitive skin and have only used toners for oily skinned people for the past few years. I heard some pretty good reviews overall about Lancome's toners so I decided to give it a go. Once at the counter, I told the sales lady my skin type, adding in that I had sensitive skin also. I was pretty sure she would recommend the Pure Focus toner but she insisted that for my sensitive skin, the Pure Focus one would be too harsh. She said that one has a higher alcohol content and is intended for extremely oily people. Well, I don't consider myself crazy oily because I've seen people who's face looks oil slick all day but I have pretty oily skin. Well, yesterday when I came back home, I took off all my makeup and washed my face like I normally would. Then, took a cotton pad and whiped the new toner onto my face. Immediately, I could tell this wasn't going to be good because of how over-moisturized my skin felt after about 20 seconds of putting it on and only an hour and a half later, my face was an oil slick mess. I should've just pushed her I wanted the Pure Focus one instead because this thing is definitely going back to the store after only one use. Two positive things though; I don't think it broke me out or gave me an allergic reaction and did I tell you I can return this thing?? I'll post how the Pure Focus one does when I exchange this item.

I cant believe this doesnt have higher ratings! This in conjuction with the clarte mousse are working wonders on my skin. I have been suffering with acne for about 10 years since i was 11 years old. I have tried just about anything on the face of the earth.lol. From Pro Activ to Murad to the natural. None of these have proven to be a permanent solution. This combo is working really well, helped reduce my clogged pores and preventing any new breakouts. This toner feels really refreshing. This does contain both alcohol and hydrogenated castor oil. BUT HAS NOT AGREVATED MY SENSITIVE ACNE PRONE SKIN and I have been using this combo along with the aquafusion cream for dry skin and Its really working well. I've only been using this for about a week 2x a day, so I will update.

This is the best most refreshing toner out there. Am not normally a toner user but this has completely converted me. It leaves skin so cool and fresh feeling, makes my dry skin absorb moisturiser better and the fragrance is just out of this world. On a hot day, it feels amazing if it`s fridge cold too. Fantastic product.

OMG...this is the worst toner that i've been used. It made my face red, burned, itchy, and the next day all the small pimples were coming out!
I was expected too high from this product as it has a good review, and it comes on a nice packaging. Not worth the money, i returned it to the shop and got my money back.

This product is wonderful for my sensitive, oily skin because it gets the last of the gunk off my face after cleansing. It doesn't strip my skin, burn upon application, or smell bad. It's a really nice, gentle toner that I'll be buying again and again.

I like how this cleanses while not stripping my skin and leaving it feeling tight and dried out. It smells nice too. I will def buy again and again unless I find something superior, which is unlikely. Love it! Essential for skincare.

I like this product. I have combination skin and I use it to tone my face as well as to remove makeup. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it lasts for quite some time. Can be a bit drying, so remember to use a moisturizer afterward.

I love this toner. It is expensive, but as with all Lancome stuff it lasts forever! It does contain alcohol, which i think is bad for some people, but i love the way it leaves my skin feeling super clean. It can sometimes be a bit drying if i am experiencing a dry moment, but my combination skin usually has no probs, and if i find im a little dry i just stop using it for a few days. I also like the smell and dont find it overpowering.

I have also tried the tonique doceur but found it left an oily film on my skin, so i gave it to mum and returned to my clarte!!!
