It's the best. Theres a reason it sells like hot cakes and people re-buy. It exfoliates like CRAZY. Depending on how much water you add, you can either make it a gentle exfoliator, or more of a deep exfoliator. Really cleans deep into pores. LOVE LOVE. great for feet, elbows, and anywhere else.

I absolutely LOVE this facial cleanser. The scrubbing beads are so gentle and feel so refreshing on the skin and are great for daily use. It smells fantastic, and leaves the skin feeling ultra soft. My skin does not feel tight afterwards and is a great facial cleanser and great for exfoliation.

I have to be extra careful using this scrub. Even though it's less harsh than the "normal" scrub I still find it irritating my skin. Perhaps the redness after the scrub was caused by my skin's reaction to the fragrance but overall I only use the scrub once every two weeks. On lucky days I won't get any breakouts but sometimes I get frustrated with this product and end up using it as a foot scrub! .

I have used this scrub for many years and I won't use any other scrub. I love this scrub! It makes my skin so soft and glowing after I use it and it's not too abrasive on my very sensitive skin. I've never had a break out from it and my skin doesn't like most products out there, it's very tempermental. I use this once or twice a week and would definitely recommend this!

I personally have very dry skin and sensitive skin and have never really been able to find a facial scrub mild enough, until I stumbled upon this one when a friend had recommended it, although I was skeptical at first when I dispensed this product it felt creamy and whilst washing my face it felt soft and not harsh at all, I have now been using this for about a month now and my skin is defiantly showing results, my skin is brighter and softer than ever. I would recommend this as a daily scrub for anyone as it's so mild and works really well plus the fragrance of the scrub is so good :).

I accidently picked this up this product. I usually use, St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish And Blackhead Control. And since they look very similar, I got this one instead. I decided to try it out anyways. The one I usually use was amazing so I wanted to see if this one was too.
When I put started to put it on my face, I noticed a different between the products. This one was more of a liquidy type. When I usually use the other product, I leave it on for about four or five minutes until it dries. But when this one it dried very quickly. After I washed it all off my face, it was incredibly dry. I had to use a ton of moisturizer to even make it feel normal again.
I did not like how it made my skin so dry. And I didn't feel like it did anything to my face. I didn't like how it was all liquidy either. I will not be buying this product again.

Though i only used this product for a few weeks i could already feel the difference it has impacted on my skin. I have lots of oil seeds around my nose and this has relatively either banished majority of it, or minimized the size of it. My overall complexion feels much smoother and this allows my skin to give out a heathy radiant glow, love it ! Bonus love for the inexpensive cost that comes with such a big tube! :D

Used this for a couple of years when I was in school...it did a good job of exfoliating my skin...smooth instantly after using it but after using it for a while, I stopped the exfoliation cuz a beautician told me that u shud never scrub oily acne-prone skin...it apparently only stimulates ur sebaceous glands and u end up getting more acne! I won't use it now cuz I find it to be too harsh on my skin. I would rather just exfoliate twice a week with sugar mixed into my facial cleanser! :D

i bought this because i thought a more gentle exfoiliater would be better for my skin. This just didn't work for me. I hate, HATE the smell of this cleanser. It is gentle.. exfoiliates well, but the smell... i just can't tolerate it. I am going to end up using this as an exfoiliater for my body until the bottle is empty. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO FRAGRANCE.

Wouldn't use this on my face again, although it did a good job exfoliating. Not surprising given the huge, rough particles. I do worry about tearing my skin with this - the particles are so rough. It's great as a body scrub after epilating though!

the only reason why i wud never buy this product again is because ppl say these apricot scrubs lik tear your skin cuz of hard edges but if it werent for that reason, this is pretty nice for such a small price. the original one's formula is waaay harsh for my skin making it flakier and dryer after i use it so i use this one and this one makes my skin soft. for those who do not mind the idea of sharp edges haha this formula is great. the little exfoliating pieces also seem less harsh than the original, but i may just be imagining.

I think they changed the formula of this product? because i was reading the reviews on this product and noticed from 1 point and back, many people said it was slippery gel like feeling and did not do anything for their skin. but now it's very creamy and nice! so i really like it. i would say this is definitely gentle enough for everyday use, but also prevents pimples very well. it also doesn't dry out my skin which is a big plus. i use it everynight before using my Retin-A, (i always use exfoliator before acne treatment, they help the treatments work better for me).
all in all, this is definitely a product i woudl gladly repurchase if i wasn't fickle with skincare products (hahah), but i think i will try something else after, because i always believe that there are better products out that will become my absolute HG and work perfectly for my skin.

I love this face scrub! I have been using it for years and will never use another! It's gentle yet effective. It also has a pleasant, not too over powering smell.

Use it on your body is good, not for the face even with this gentle formula for ensitive skin. My skin type is acne-prone but not too sensitive, so I choose products that help my acne prone skin and NOT to irritate it. I used both St.Ives Clay masque and Hydroxy masque, excellent products. However, this scrub is too strong for the face, even though I used minimal and diluted with alot of water and be very gentle on my face, it irritated my skin and broke me out.

This is the only facial scrub i'll come back to as a standby time and time again. it has a great texture, velvety cream with not too many exfoliating grains, and it has a gorgeous almondy smell... it leaves my sensitive skin soft and glowing, without any irritation, even when used daily.

I started using the Apricot scrub years ago. I prefer to use this scrub on my body not my face. It can have a greasy feel on your face. This is a gentle scrub for the face but it might be for those with younger skin not skin that is sensitive, dry or older.
Miking plain baking soda with your cleanser might be more gentle.
I like St. Ives products. Inexpensive but they work.

In a nutshell, this product is not as effective as St. Ives regular apricot scrub as an exfoliator, nor as a cleanser. However, this product is alot gentler on sensitive skin, it DOES exfoliate a bit (altho for people like me with dryish skin who gets a bit flaky if not exfoliated enough, mixing this gentle scrub with a bit of the regular is quite effective and not as drying). It is great for not drying out the skin, so is recommended for people who have dry skin that should use creamy or moisturizing cleansers. I use Ponds cold cream as a moisturizer, and in winter it is great but in warm weather it is a bit heavy, and tends to block my pores and cause blackheads in the T zone. I also get enlarged pores by using moisturizers incl. sunscreen. This product has helped get rid of the blackheads, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores (which I normally do not have except in warm weather), and it does not leave my skin feeling tight. It is about as good a cleanser as I have found that is marketed for dry or sensitive skin, by not being overly drying, overly strong, or overpriced.
I can tell you this is an excellent make-up remover. Even around the eye area. It is not so 'scrubby' as to be somewhat painful around the eyes and eyelids like the original apricot scrub. I would continue using it if for no other reason than it being so good at removing all of my make-up without racoon eye remnants. As with all exfoliators, it is most effective when gently rubbed in circular motion for at least one minute. When I only did a quick scrub, the exfoliating properties were not very good. When I scrubbed longer, it was quite gentle, yet VERY effective. Paid about $4.00 at wal-mart. Is available at almost any drug or department store with a health and beauty section. It is the same type plastic squeeze tube as the original scrub, which is great, the only setback is that when you are almost out of product, you have to maneuver the tube a bit to get the final bit. To remedy this, when it is almost empty, I snip the crimped end of the tube off with scissors and get the last of it.
If you have skin that can handle the original St. Ives Apricot Scrub, I would recommend that one over this one ( for body and face NOT incl. the eye area). I used it for a long time, and still do. It has always been a fantastic cleanser, but as I near 30 yrs old, I find my skin is not as resilient and youthful as it once was, and this gentle cleanser is much better suited to my skin needs.

I LOVE this scrub! I use it a couple of times a week to compliment my Purity Made Simple cleanser (my HG daily cleanser). It exfoliates my skin gently, without leaving me too red or blotchy. Wonderful stuff for people with sensitive skin!

I love this product. It works great on my skin, you don't expect a scrub with granules to be that gentle, but it is. It gets off blackheads and unblocks pores and leaves my skin feeling super smooth. I use it every other day and it's kept my skin clear so far.
I have sensitive skin, dry on the sides but prone to oiliness on the T-zone and blocked pores, and this product does the trick in normalizing my skin and making sure my pores are clear at the same time.
I used to use Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant, but I found that it didn't work as well for me as St Ives. It didnt clear my skin as well, and I still had many bumps and blackheads even after months of using it. Plus, Daily Microfoliant is many many times more expensive than St Ives!
I have a friend who swears by the 'regular' version of this scrub, and uses nothing else to clean her face. I was debating between the medicated version (with salicylic acid) and the gentle version and I am glad I got the gentle version because on hindsight, I think the medicated version would have been to harsh on my skin. I've tried the regular version before and it was too rough to be used every other day for me.
I will definitely buy this product again after it finishes, although I can see that it will take some time, one tube of this scrub really goes a long long way. Fantastic product at a great price.

I was too scared to try the regular Apricot scrub, so I picked this one.
Love it.
Great Price.
My skin feels much smoother.
I will probably buy the regular one for my body.
