I didn't have a reaction to this toner or anything. The earth didn't move and neither did it come crashing down. It seems just fine. The only thing that bothered me was the alcohol in it. Why would anyone put alcohol in a toner knowing that it could dry out dry skins and potentially harm sensitive ones? I know there's probably a noticable amount of alochol in it because I work at a pharmaceutical company which uses medicinal alcohol and I'm familiar with the texture. It could be my imagination but it feels like I'm rubbing alcohol on my face and as soon as it's rubbed in, I get this sensation like it's evaporating or something. Some of the other reviewers could be right when they say this toner is nothing but glorified alcohol. I'm giving it 4 lippies because I didn't get a reaction. But I won't buy again.

My favorite toner, absolutely love it! Does not leave skin greesy or oily. Only too expensive.

It's not a bad toner, but I wouldn't buy it again.
And I'll tell you why.
First of all, this is my first try with Dr Hauschka products.
I live in Germany and here you can find this brand very easily. It's usually sold in bio shops (i.e. stores for organic products).
The price is medium-high: higher than drugstore brands and cheaper than brands like Estee Lauder, Chanel and the like.
Since I bought the toner, I have tried samples of other skin care products of this same brand.
As far as the toner is concerned, the packing is fine:
it's a spray glass container, the contents doesn't get polluted or contaminated. I find glass the most hygienic choice, although I'm always nervous handling glass with wet or slippery hands. Despite the good quality packaging, the liquid (which I think doesn't contain preservatives) changed color and smell after a while, probably I didn't use it quickly enough. The toner itself wasn't neither good or bad, I didn't notice any positive or negative impact on my skin.
And this is true also for the samples I have tried: nothing bad and nothing good to say about these products.
For this reason I wouldn't spend ca. 17euro for this facial toner.

This used to be my go to brand. And it was wonderful and couldn't sing it's praises loud enough. It really got my rosacea under control.

But after a few years I really started to prickle at the cost. Now I use Earth Science A D & E face cleaner - I actually like it better than Dr. H's creamy cleanser, rose water and coconut oil. I've been using these for two years. My skin still gets many compliments, and I have saved so much money.

I bought this on a whim at whole foods a couple of weeks ago. This toner really feels wonderful when you spritz it on your face. It has the characteristic dr. haushka scent, which is light and refreshing. I haven't noticed any radical skin changes - positive or negative. So while I remain unconvinced if toners really have any added beauty value, I will probably keep reaching for this toner just because it feels good on my skin.

I love this product--but it's so expensive! It's more of a treatment than a simple toner. and in warmer weather can double as toner/moisturizer.

I understand why it's packaged in glass, but I'd prefer plastic (fumble fingers).

Like all the Hauschka products I've tried, it's of the highest quality. If I ever get back to having more disposable income, I'd definitely repurchase.

This is absolutely indispensable to my daily routine. To call this a toner would be to do it injustice. When my skin broke out while traveling (because of airplane dryness, long flight time, jet lag, etc) I was glad I brought along a sample size bottle of Dr Hauschka's facial toner. It calmed my hypersensitive and overreactive skin and helped bring it back to its original condition. Before that I was already using the facial toner as a daily spray-on toner after cleansing and before moisturizing. Sometimes when I feel like my skin needs a break from all the products I am using and needs to "breathe", I can just go to bed with just the facial toner and a light serum. No dryness or tightness. It is that good for the skin. Will never be without it.

This is a nice toner... I tried in a sample kit, and would like to try the full size spray version. It is a little spendy, but when I need another toner Dr. H is high on the list.

I've never been a toner user, but got this in a sample kit and really liked the scent and the freshness in my complexion after I used it, so I bought a large bottle. I like that it's a spray.

A lovely, light refreshing toner made of natural ingredients. In comparison to main brands such as Elemis, Clarins, Decleor etc, etc, price is cheap. Can be used to cool your face down in the heat without ruining your make-up.

It' should not be called a toner. For me it just feels like a refreshening spritz. I like to use toners to remove residues from cleansers and just calm the skin before moisturizing but if you use this along with the cleanser that comes with it , it just feels like your face is not cleaned thoroughly.

I wanted to love this toner. But overall Dr Hauschka's approach to treating skin seems disputable to me. In case with this toner (and the other in the toner range) it's the presence of alcohol. I don't understand how it can suit anyone with dehydrated/oily or sensitive/cuperose skin. Alcohol irritated my skin and made the moisture evaporate quicker which is a no-no for me.

If you're looking for a toner that is natural, feels great, smells good and comes in a handy spritzer bottle, then this is it. I used up a few bottles of this in the past several years, and though I don't rely on it, I'd like to re-buy again in the future. It smells good as well. It tightens the pores after cleansing and feels wonderful in summer after a swim or as a quickie cleanse. Good stuff.

I really love the scent of all the Hauschka procucts including this toner. It has this "I know this is good for my skin"-smell to it. Just can't help it. I spritz it on my face after cleansing with the washing cream and pet/massage it into the skin with my hands. I really can't say much about the overall outcome my skin has from this. But it doesn't make me breakout or give me any redness. It doesn't dry out my skin and it doesn't tingle. Which is good :) But from the ingredients I can tell that it really helps my skin to remain as beautiful as it is now.

If you love the smell of roses, then you'd like this facial toner. I know the whole Dr. Hauschka thing is to cleanse, tone and then step away from the night-time moisturizers. I just couldn't do it. I tried for almost a week, but my face was just parched and then I had to deal with the peeling, flaking patches.

Luckily, I purchased one of those starter kits from Whole Foods for about $25 so it allowed me to try out the line before committing the big bucks.

I have rosacea, sensitive skin and this feels gently refreshing on my skin. The smell is very soothing, very rosy. The spray comes out well, not too much or too little. The spray nozzle has always worked well, no problems with that at all.

I love how this toner feels and how well the spray works. On some spray toners the product comes out in concentrated sprays and you end up with too much toner on some parts of your face and nothing on other parts. This spray comes out in a soft cloud of toner and is easily dosed with several small pumps.

Along with the cleansing milk, this toner has replaced my night cream, and my skin is transformed. I had no idea that my skin could look this great in the morning, I wake up with a healthy glowing complexion and I used to have extremely DRY skin! I was so sceptical about the Hauschka idea of no night moisturiser, but I must say that with a complete regime, it has worked wonders!

My only con is the glass bottle. It does feel and look more luxurious than a plastic bottle, even after a few months of use, but it _is_ quite unhandy and heavy after all. But the travel minis of the range are cheap and can be refilled, so I plan to get one.

The price is not that high here in Europe (close to Germany, hehe), about 15USD for this one, and it is a lot cheaper than my other favourite natural brands Suki and Jurlique, so I do not complain about the price.

If you are not on a complete Haushcka regime (with the whole no-night-cream-rutine and all) I don't know if you would benefit as much from this, though. But I would definately repurchase.

This is a waste of money. I liked it at first and went through two bottles of it, but regular rose water is much better (and cheaper).

This is the first time I've bought the facial toner, instead of the clarifying toner, I used to use the clarifying but actually found that in the long run it was too drying for my skin. Facial toner on the other hand works really well and still seems to be astrigent enough to combat blemishes without any of the dryness I experienced with the clarifying. I love the fine mist spray and glass bottle and the herbally smell is lovely too.
