I really like the woody fig scent of this potpourri. The large pieces look beautiful displayed in a modern aluminum bowl. My only complaint is the high price, but hopefully the potpourri will last a long time to make up for it. The potpourri comes in a lovely box and, with a vial of the refresher oil, would make a good gift.

More attractive than the usual desiccated leaves and shavings, this chunky pot pourri consists of large pieces of fig together with what look like peach pits and tiny pine cones. The subtle and irreproachably figgy scent is firmly impregnated into the pieces. Mine has lasted five years and needs only the occasional shaking to reinvigorate it. Presented in a card box, and looks attractive decanted into a wooden container. Excellent value for money considering its lasting power.

PROS: pleasant fig fragrance, aesthetically pleasing pieces of potpourri; CONS: small box, poor value; COMMENTS: box is sturdy enough for displaying potpourri, $30 per box at www.beautyhabit.com; matching refresher oil is $11
