HydrapHel Skin Supplement, a non-alcoholic toner, seems to moisturize my dry to very dry skin. I use it after removing my makeup.

I am a 1 o'clock. During summer time I alternate between the Conditioning Prep and the Light Controlling Lotion. The light controlling is my favorite EXCEPT for the HydrapHel Supplement. WOW! I continue using my sea mud soap and prescribed routine as usual, except I change my toner. I have VERY sensitive and acne prone skin. This product doesn't irritate or sting because it contains no alcohol. My face feels very clean and "tight" after using. I definitely have to use a moisturizer after this but my face looks better in two months of using this than it did with using the conditioning prep AND the light controlling lotion. I think I may tweak my clock a little and put something in there that makes my skin look even better than before. THis is a keeper!!

Many of us who use retinoids can't tolerate alcohol based Light Controlling Lotion, particularly in winter. The EL Specialist told me that this is an appropriate substitute. It refreshes and hydrates without irritation. It has the feel and consistency of a light serum.

I adore this line, particularly the original products.

I love this toner. I usually skip toner because nearly all are too drying for my skin. This is lovely. Has an almost slippery texture and leaves skin very soft and moist. The perfecting final step in the Erno Laszlo cleansing ritual. Since I have started using their products the redness in my usually sensitive skin is pretty much gone and my pores are much smaller. Not even tempted to try anything else.

This seems like a copy (but only stickier version) of Skinecentuals B5, but the original is better. I've tried to use them side by side and compare. The side where i put the skin supplement would be sorta dry within a few hours, while the B5 side looked and felt soft still ... It does sink in well though and seems to not clog pores, so is a plus

Also, the bottle is crappy. I've transfered this into a drop bottle akin to b5 and will use it for my neck or something til it gets over. Will not re-purchase.

I like this toner, have slightly dry, sensitive skin with rosacea and this doesn't burn or irritate. I like the way it feels, it is lightly moisturizing. Will buy again.

This is actually a review about Erno Laszlo skincare in general and my experiences with it so far...
I love this toner so much, actually the whole Erno Laszlo treatment. The Hydraphel Skin Supplement leaves my skin soft, fresh and hydrated. I immediately (well, I try...) use this after cleansing with the Active Phelityl oil and the Active Phelityl soap. And then put on my Laszlo moisturizer (right now I am using Hydraphel Emulsion SPF 15 for daytime (for the warmer months I will try the REM SPf 30 Intensive Day Therapy) and Hydraphel Intensive for nighttime...at nighttime I sometimes switch to a serum that I got from my facialist when seeing that my skin does not need a lot.) That way all can work together to hydrate skin...This is supposed to be for skins clocked dry but I think even when you are a little on the oily side it'll do good since it calms down a lot.
I am into Laszlo for almost 3 months now and my skin got a lot better, it's a lot softer and I have way less milia or whiteheads. My issue is that I usually cannot really stay away from squeezing. I try hard to stop and since I am using Laszlo again it starts to work since there is not much to squeeze anymore. The pores on my nose got a lot smaller and have less stuff in them etc. I can only recommend to try Laszlo, pricey but worth it, and stay with it for longer than just a week or two. I think the longer you use this, especially the cleansing system and the toning, the better your skin's going to look like.

This is a great product if you have sensitive skin. It is alcohol free, and its very soothing. I am very oily skin so I recently switched to Conditioning prep, which is MUCH stronger. But I like it better because I am so oily! :) I do not recommend it for anyone unless you are a 3'O clock according to Laszlo... But the hydraphel is good from everyone!

This is a perfect toner for dry and sensitive skins. I used this on days that I felt dry or on days that I shaved. It's a bit slick feeling, but it goes away fast. I never used a cotton pad with it since the thickness of the liquid made it a royal pain when trying to get the cotton to absorb it. I just pat-pressed it on and all was fine. Great for Fall and Winter months for slightly dry skins, but probably too much for Spring and Summer. Overall a nice product.

This product is excellent.. I have cystic, oily, acne prone skin, and it makes my skin very soft and smooth. It has no alcohol, which is a major plus for ance prone skin. It is rich in sodium PCA which is an ingredient found in healthy skin. It is worth every penny. Great PH balancer and refresher.. also increases cell turn over which is good for scars. Will buy again :)

I love the packaing of Erno Laszlo Products. But unfortunately, I can't seem to tolerate most of them. This toner was OK, but I couldnt stand that slippery feeling it gave me. My face looked like it was wet. I used only a small amount of this and it was still way too slippery for me. Might be ok if you have severely dry, mature skin.

Very good toner for dry skin. Has a nice slip sensation to it but is not greasy at all. The only thing I didn't care for was the smell. Kind of fishy. Despite that, a toner that is worth the money.

I have extremely dry skin in the winter, and this toner is excellent! It is very slippery, but not heavy in the least, so I'm sure it would be fine for dry or even normal skin as well.

This is wonderful if your skin is feeling a bit dry and you still need to use a toner to finish off your cleansing regimine. It has a nice 'slippery' feel to it while applying. It did not leave my face feeling tight nor greasy!!

Very gentle, non-irritating alcohol free toner that is great for my sensitive normal skin. The best toner I have ever used.
