I really like these glosses and Starlight is no exception. I love the packaging and this is basically a clear gloss with a micro silver glitter. Its beautiful on and has a lemonade fragrance. Its not entirely flavor free but it is pleasant. Lancome glosses don't last as long as i would like but for the time they are on the lips, they look divine! Gorgeous product!

See, this is my favorite lip gloss of all time....not too sticky, not too flat, but JUST right, said Goldilocks. Looks absolutely gorgeous as a topping on any of your favorite lippies. So lovely but not for evening only, mind you! Gives lips a luscious plumped look and who doesn't want that, right? The silver sparkles are not over the top but plenty pizzazzy! This and it's kissin' cousin Angelic are my two favorite glosses in the world. Don't make me pick one over the other, however, 'cause I can't, ok? Can't. :) Respectfully submitted, colormepink

Never in a million years did I think that I'd ever pay $27.50 Cdn for a lip gloss. A lip gloss, folks. Having said that, it was bonus time at the Lancome counter, and remembering the reviews here on MUA (thanks a lot, ladies), I picked it up.
I applied this over my lipstick (that has SPF), a pretty pink though somewhat flat shade, and Starlight made it beautiful; and ladies, my lips were pretty bodacious to begin with :D
*sigh* Will repurchase.
Update: Dropped by the MAC cosmetics counter today to do a CP; the sales guy couldn't stop staring at my mouth!

I lost this star gloss a while ago :( but I remember it vividly. It was a sheer, shimmery light pink that came off nearly clear when applied. It was so pretty, so shiny, and the containers for Star Gloss are really chic-looking, too. This is great if you're looking for a clear gloss with a little something extra.

I was hesitant buying a lipgloss that costs $27.50 CDN. However, I fell in love with the microglitter in this clear gloss. I didn't even notice a weird smell until I read other reviews on this thread - because the smell isn't offensive to me. It's not as nice-smelling as Juicy Tubes, but it has a big pro that Juicy Tubes doesn't have - Star gloss isn't sticky, so even when the wind blows, my hair isn't that stuck to my lips. This gloss feels more like a balm, but the shine is AMAZING! I've only worn it for 2 days, and already I've had people stop me and ask what gloss I'm wearing. The microglitter is great because it highlights lips without making them huge, garish spotlights. I have big lips and this gloss plays them up while playing them down. The brush applicator is also simply divine - much better than sponge or slant tube applicators where you can't account for even application. Just make sure you have a mirror :) You'll be staring at your lips for a while! And for $27.50, the gloss will last a while, so I say it's worth it if you want a great quality gloss.

This is a very nice gloss to wear over other l/s to add a bit of glamour. On me, the glitter is subtle enough that I can wear it in the daytime with no trouble. Love the packaging, love the brush applicator, but don't love the taste/smell. Other than that, it's a great staple.

I got this in those gift packages. This gloss is sooooo pretty I LOVE the glitter, and in the light it just lights up! & layering it is really nice too. The only thing that stinks is .. the gloss. It smells really weird like it's been perfumed really strangely.

Very beautiful lipgloss. I use this on its own at daytime for just a bit of extra glamour, or on top of a lipstick for a night out.
It's not sticky like Juicy Tube, and it's not gritty which is a plus. Feels like I'm wearing lipbalm. Will definitely buy again.

This gloss looks really nice in dim lighting because it looks super glossy and shimmery. In regular lighting, it just looks like a plain clear gloss. And after the gloss has worn off, all that is left is a ton of silver specks on your lips, which looks funny. But I gave it 4 lipsticks because the packaging is so pretty!

this has to be my all time favourite lip gloss, and i've tried them all - Juicy Tubes, Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Gloss, Dior Addict Gloss, Revlon and L'Oreal glosses - and this one really is the best. the packaging is beautiful and stylish and i love the wand/brush applicator - so much cleaner and easier than the tube application of the Juicy Tubes. the shimmery effect is my favourite part, it looks magical! my only complaint is the flavour - it kinda tastes like you've just sprayed perfume on your wrist and then licked it, but the gloss looks so amazing i'm willing to let it slide

At first when I bought this gloss I wasn't very impressed. The texture wasn't the best and I was hoping for more of a glittery impact. But, I recently pulled it back out and used it and I am in love. The texture really isn't tha bad and the sparkle effect is awesome. You just have to be in the right light. And, it is really good for layering. I will definatley buy this again. Really like it.

Very good colour! I used it over all my lipsticks, It's glamourous!
But it's a little more fluid than Juicy tubes, so it doesn't stay on much. In Italy I paid 16€.

This gloss was a huge disappointment!! It was an impulse buy - I was buying 'Hypnose' and some of Lancome's shimmer blush and was instantly attracted to the lovely packaging of this gloss. It is in a beautiful tear drop shaped container. The top is platinum colour, which offsets the white sparkly gloss. It instantly reminded me of platinum and diamonds, so of course I couldn't resist. Unfortunately, the glamorous packaging is about the only redeeming thing about this gloss. Please forgive this rant but here's the honest truth, IMO. When applied, the gloss isn't really all that shiny or glossy. The sparkles are virtually invisible. And it only stays on for about 5 minutes. Oh, and it smells & tastes really weird, like perfumed plastic. The staying power is practically non-existant. I paid a hefty $27.00CDN + tax for this and I have to say it's just awful. A complete waste of money. I notice everyone else loves it. I dunno what to say. I am a complete gloss-addict and this is about the worst I've ever tried. It is sitting in my makeup kit, virtually untouched. I don't mind spending $$$ for good products; but I resent it when I shell out big bucks for low quality items. This one I definitely resent :-(

This is a clear gloss with lots of teeny sparkles. I love using it over lipsticks to add a little glimmer. It comes in a cute teardrop shaped tube with a brush applicator that makes it easy to apply over other colors without getting a lot on the end. The smell is a little odd--it's familiar, but I can't quite place it. Not unpleasant, though.

I really like this gloss. On the lips it shows up as a pale, shimmery shade with silver sparkles.
Again, I like it, but I doubt I would buy it again - I wish the sparkles showed up a little better on my lips. But overall, it's a good gloss.

This is one of my fav lipgloss. I usually use this either by itself or on top of other lipglosses. It has tons of micro-shimmer but not chucky glitters. I also like the lip brush it included. This is something I can't live without!

I rarely find a product that I love enough to finish. This one I plan to finish. I love this stuff. A friend raved about it but I was too cheap to give it a try. What could be so wonderful and different about this lip gloss (usually a drug store kind of girl).
Others have described this gloss perfectly. It is simply beautiful on my lips. I prefer to wear it over lipstick. Love the feel on my lips. No yucky taste and not tacky feeling. Good staying power for a gloss.
A first, a product I will use up and purchase again. I hope Lancome continues this product.

GORGEOUS!!! Looks just like little diamonds on the lips. Its a clear, super shiny gloss w/ tiny silver sparkles. Looks great alone but, especially over pink or coral lipstick or over another gloss. Will make you lips very glossy, almost magical looking. Looks similar to the Wet Diamonds commericals. Will 4 ever repurchase... HG status! You can pick it up on Ebay for less $
