I lost all of the Philosophy lipsticks that I have purchased. Contemplation is a gorgeous deep mauve with subtle shimmer. I think Philosophy makes wonderful lipsticks - they feel wonderfully moisturizing on my lips and yet have good staying power. I am surprised they don't get more praise.

I have bought this lipstick over and over. The color is good for me and out of the trillions of lipsticks and glosses I wear, I actually receive compliments on this one. I have blonde hair, blue eyes, light complexion with lots of red/pinky in my skin. This made a good complement to my skin. Moisturising properties in this are nice, sheer formula but not see-through, shiny. Doesn't last very long on lips but somehow I keep going back to it.

This lipstick is a great sheer formula but this color looked ashy on me. If you have more warm-coloring you may find the same thing happens on you. Looks like a plum in the tube but try before buying unlike me.

Very nice product- I could not decide which one to get- All the colors are so pretty and natural looking! So I chose Contemplation-A plumy/pink color- It feels so good on my lips- Gives a nice sheen- Would like to get other colors- And it was $15
