I usually love blistex! There so moisturizing and they last for a long time! (on your lips and the chapstick itself) But some how this one was really crappy! I have to keep replying ever like 20 minutes! My lips really crack so I need something that lasts! This doesn't do the job and it disappointed me! I will never buy this certain kind again! :(

I used to hate this stuff but am loving it now. Its keeping my dry lips moist and soft in this dry climate that i am in. I like the fake berry scent and the tingle sensation on my lips. Like that it has SPF because when the summer comes here.... i dont want burned, freckled lips.

I don't really like this lip balm at all. The smell and minty feeling of this on my lips really bothers me. It also feels waxy and I can definitely feel it on my lips. Not very moisturizing, either. I would not repurchase.

One word: Bad. It's sticky and doesn't spread out evenly when you apply to your lips. Not to mention it leaves a thin waxy film on my lips creating the matte look. Besides spf 10, there's nothing good I can say about this.

Okay so when I was like 7 my lips were near bleeding and my uncle took me into the drugstore and bought this for me. I have a bad habit of wanting to try new products when I really don't need to because the old way still works well for me. This is one I should never stray from. It gives me mad hydration and always has. The really cool part is it still goes for about the same price it did when I was 7 too. If you're looking for something with a tint or a gloss, this is not for you. It's basic and just for moisturizing. I use it before bed and I always put it on before I put gloss on. I also keep it handy when I'm out in the sun because it has spf and the lips are really painful when they're burned. In the winter it's my quick fix for the drying cold weather

this is an edit of my first review which i wrote after only using this beifly. i liked it, but i like it a lot more now. i think it has a great scent actually, not berry so much as others have said, but more bubble gum which is nice too. its a shiner lip balm, not a waxy one which it seems from the many lip balm reviews in various brand i have read, is what most are looking for. if you like a shiny balm with a sweet scent and a little tinge of pink, this is for you.

it has spf 10 which i also appreciate, i use this sometimes under lg for that reason. i use ot more at home however, and am surprised each time i use it how much the scent appeals to me as does the feel. this is a good every day balm.

Overall, I like this Lip Balm. It has a heated feeling for a bit but I assume that's the menthol or the Oxybenzone causing me major health problems, like the last reviewer just warned. It's becoming so hard to keep up with how many products do that now days. btw, I've seen the ingredients on drugstore.com and it doesn't even list it. It does say Propylparaben though. So if you're nutty about that, beware ! The smell is kind cheap. Taste is not bothersome. Doesn't make my lips peel or rough. Makes them feel really soft and smooth. Never feels icky. Just goes right on and moisturizes. Although I'm waiting to find Nivea's chap sticks, I will continue with this.

I just got through my second tube of this stuff, and I adore it. I couldn't have survived the winter months without it!

It moisturizes very well and has stood up to some major chappiness. The texture is great -- very smooth and buttery, not too slick or sticky (stickiness is the #1 turnoff for me when it comes to any sort of lip product). The taste and smell are fine, though certainly not as delectable as some of the fruitier glosses out there. Mostly it reminds me of berries mixed with herbal medicine. There is a tingly feeling when first applied that may take a few days to get used to, but don't worry, that just means it's working.

Active ingredients are dimethicone, oxybenzone, and padimate. The SPF level is actually 15, not 10. Titanium dioxide is also listed as an ingredient.

You can get it for less than a dollar at most drug stores and it lasts several months even if applied daily.

*EDIT*: Oxybenzone (a photocarcinogen) is a major health hazard! Do NOT buy any products that contain this ingredient!

This or the original or the pot is always going to be a staple for me, well i have all 3 of them now. This is probably the one i use least, only because i keep the pot at school, so I'm always using it and the original beside my bed, so most of the time this stays untouched. Though i like it allot!

I have bought this since I was about 12. It's definitely one of my standbys. It's less intense than Carmex, smells and tastes pleasant and makes my lips feel super smooth. I love the soft texture, not too sticky or gooey or waxy. Definitely good to have in the makeup bag.

Ive bought this product over and over and over again. I have extremely sensitive and dry lips, and the only thing that soothed them before was Carmex.
I now use blistex berry balm only, as its much more convenient to use, cheaper, and moisturises just as well.
Great staying power also, I've tried some other blistex balms and they disappear quite quickly

This review is for the Berry flavored one only.

The good thing is that it moisturizes and it has SPF. However, the medincine-like Berry flavor does not smell/taste good. For that reason, I stopped using it and will not repurchase.

I don't love the smell of this but otherwise it's pretty good. Similar effectiveness to Chapstick -- it works, but it's nothing that will blow your socks off.

I remember using this in high school to the point of almost being addicted to it. There is something about the smell that makes you want to keep picking it up and applying it. I would only buy it again for the smell that brings back memories, but really I use lipgloss most of the time so I don't have a need for this.

I love this lip balm and use it exclusively. It smells sweet and goes on smoothly. It tingles slightly, which is pleasant for me, and looks great under or over lipstick. I do not notice any taste at all after applying. The packaging is feminine and beautiful. At 99 cents, you can't beat the price either. Great product all around!

"No. This is bad. Did not help my dry lips. Coated for a few minutes but the moment I took a sip of water or coffee, it was gone and I needed to recoat. The only good thing was the SPF, but you can find better lip balm with SPF."

I completely agree.

I wear this daily. The texture is very light and glossy - perfect for wear under lipstick/gloss, or even on its own. The fragrance is a light medicinal berry, but not unpleasant like other berry treatments. If I don't use it when I step outside in the harsh summer or winter months, I get cold sores. It's the only product that has kept cold sores away for over 2 years. If you don't care for the fragrance, try the mint kind, it's very refreshing and just as effective.

I can't believe that this has such bad reviews. I relly like this lip balm. I love the clean-berry smell and the silky feel it has. It doesn't slip off your lips. It also has SPF (I thought it was SPF 15?) and if my lips are very dry, it tingles a bit. I love it it's onee of my favourite lip balms:)
