I don't think this fragrance ever garnered any respect because of Davidoff's major money maker "cool water" that is still being worn to death by many males. This is such a warm enveloping fragrance. There are no harsh notes and nothing to induce a headache. It is a soft vanilla amber scent. Its comforting and it lasts. It can be worn in any season and any weather. Some places still sell this at too high a price but many, many perfume etailers sell it for next to nothing.

I haven't tried this perfume but I do have the soft deodorant stick in this fragrance. It's such a soft and sensual aroma. This is my go-to deodorant when I want to relax after a soothing, evening shower. The formula doesn't turn rancid once mixed with your chemistry like some deodorants (Secret) and it glides on clear. It's subtle and feminine which is perfect for a romantic night :p

If they were still making this, I'd buy it again. I bought my bottle long ago, about 5 years ago, in TJ Maxx for a cheap price. Maybe $20? Anyway, I wore it steadily for a couple of years and then branched out into other fragrances. It has been a couple years since I've worn it...but out of the blue I decided to spritz some on this cold first day of spring. I have the eau de parfum and it still smells great! Warm, fresh, slightly fruity and spicy. It's not overwhelming, just a really smooth, warm, delectable fragrance. It has some of the fruity and vanilla notes I love without smelling like all the teeny bopper fragrances on the market today. It has a nice drydown, too..soft and yummy vanilla-spicy.

If you enjoy unique florientials, I recommend picking up a bottle of this if you can find it!

A very warm, cuddly, cozy fruity floriental. It reminds me a bit of my beloved Femme de Dandy d'Orsay, but without the balsam notes. It smells like an vanillic-oriental-hints of amber fragrance, with a LOT of fruit in it, and perhaps it has a hint of cinnamon in it.
I'm getting coconut from it too, which I wonder if it's the fig or not. I don't detect any sharpness in it from the pineapple, but I can detect the plum, iris and ylang ylang in it. Fortunately for me, the bergamot in this is NOT sharp. I'm not a bergamot fan.
This is a wonderful fragrance. It's too bad they D/C it, but that happens to a lot of things. It's not screaming, but rather very subtle, and nice.
Here are the notes from Jan Moran: "Floral - Oriental; Top Notes: Bergamot, pineapple, black currant; Heart Notes: Jasmine, rose, fig leaf, carnation, ylang-ylang; Base Notes: Iris, plum, sandalwood, fig milk, date, vanilla."

ok, wow. when i first sprayed this on, i liked it. I was even considering buying it. Five minutes later, after smelling it on my skin, i was starting to get a headache. This is possibly THEE sweetest perfume i have ever smelled. Like really really strong, weird, fruity fudge. And, as someone mentioned, sorta like pancake syrup. I had to wash it off. Which is really saying something, because i never do that with perfume testers. Bleh. I could never ever wear this!

Good Life woman's fragrance by Davidoff is a sensual, elegant, floral that mixes Plum, Tuberose, Carnation, Jasmine, Honey, Vanilla and Sandalwood.Sounds yum doesn't it? Well, strangely enough it's a little too unremarkable for me these days. It is nice and pretty and feminine non-descript slightly fruity floral with warm notes (and a strange underlying green note too - maybe that's the white flowers confusing me!). The warm note is interesting as to me it smells very much like pancake syrup. Vanilla sandalwood blend perhaps. It's nice but nothing unique whatsoever and I can see how eventually it might irritate my nose.

Sweet citrus, creamy milky vanilla, and something that smells a little bit like peach all blend together beautifully in this scent. It's a great fall scent to me, cozy and soft, feminine and classy.

There's just something about this fragrance that I find really appealing. The notes in it combine to make a very warm and unique fragrance. I definitely think of it as a summer scent which can range anywhere from casual to formal and good for every day as well. It also acts as a mood enhancer for me. Some notes I can definitely pick up on are milk, fig (comes off as coconut-ish), amber, maybe jasmine, and even something "fresh". I can't explain it. It's just a very unique scent and I really have not smelled another fragrance that's similar. The body lotion smells good too and really enhances the perfume. Brings back memories of a trip we took to Miami. I got my first bottle of this about 5 years ago at a Sephora in South Beach. (Maybe that's why I like it so much--reminds me of vacation LOL :D)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this fragrance. When you first spray, it is strong. You have to give this fragrance time to dry down. When it does, it is so beautiful. Soft, feminine, romantic. ALWAYS gets me compliments when I wear it.

been wearing this for years now and it always gets compliments. always from women, but well, you can't please everyone all the time.

Have the matching body lotion, which i go thru very fast, but it doesn't have much scent to it.

Usually I prefer fruity/florals but this works well with my body chemistry...smells warm and comforting with hint of vanilla and spices.
