I dont care for thsi one at all! it smellslike bug spray on me, vaguely artificial and yes metallic, even my husband thinks it smells horrible!! there is nothing subtle about it, it doesnt smell anything pretty to me at all!!

I had no idea what to expect before I tried Salvatore Ferragamo fragrances but was so pleasantly surprised by the beauty and elegance of this one. Subtil is a gentle scent that caresses you and those around you rather then shouting or being too aggressive - it reminds me of a sunny spring day with a little bit of crisp freshness in the air. There is nothing ordinary about it, its top notes are fresh and delicious with cherry and orange blossoms creamy like honey; the heart notes blossom on the skin and in the air with floral bouqet of lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, white lily and tulip; with musk in the base to pull everything together and make the yumminess last and last.

i got this off ebay so the price is immaterial. the perfume itself is just like the original ferragamo but less intense. it starts off as a bright metal floral on me. then dries down to a light floral scent. it is a very classy fragrance that will not be mistaken for a drugstore variety. the bottle is same as the twisted ferragamo bottle but has a fiery scarlet hue scaling upwards. it is pretty on my boudoir. however, i will not repurchase a watered-down version. i like the original better. but if you like lighter scents, this is for you.

Love it! I first received this from my husband when he got a bottle at work gratis....I was apprehensive at first because perfume and I do not usually get along. This is the first high end perfume that didn't give me a headache or make me sick to my stomach. After my first bottle ran out, I went and bought another and will continue to do so until I find another HG perfume.

This fragrance is so very light that I can barely smell it once I put it on. Every once in awhile I catch a whiff of a light floral scent, nothing I can put my finger on as far as any type of flower I can recognize. Not one person commented on this fragrance, and I wore it all week long to give it a chance. My best critics are my children, and neither of them even noticed the scent on me. I would not continue to purchase something that does not make some sort of statement for me.

I am not sure what the notes I am smelling are, but they are really pretty. Very soft floral perfume. I really like this one a lot.

I got this as a sample...can't really comment on price. This is far from the worst fragrance I have ever smelled...I just wouldn't buy or wear it. This smell is too thin, high, and powdery to suit me. But it is subtle, as its name suggests. Therefore, it isn't something that would likely assault my nose if someone else wore it.

Absolutely nice and refreshing. I'm glad I got it for free as a gift from my beloved father whilst he's on his official trip abroad :) Anyway, it has very nice and unique scent, not too strong but still brings a lot of confident while I'm wearing this. This is my fave fragrance to wear at this moment along with my Amarige de Givenchy and Le Feu D'Issey. Like it. Love it. Definitely will purchase it again.

I accidentally stumbled onto this parfume when I was shopping for Xmas gifts for family. I decided that I should have a gift too. So the SA told me about this new parfume (this was about 4yrs. ago) I smelled it and loved it. Its such a clean smell. Its a little over powering so a little really goes a long way, but its a very feminine scent. The bottle is very unique too.

Very pretty, light (for an EDP), and, as the name suggests, subtle.
Side note: Although the bottle is very graceful with its tall, curved design, I personally find it too "tippy" and prefer more squat bottles (with a more solid base).
