It is a great product. Reasonably priced. Texture of the cleansing lotion is creamy. It does the job well without over-removing the oil from your skin. Downside is the smell of the lotion is over powering. And if you have a dry or very dry skin, it is not moisturising enough. But it is mild enough not to cause any outbreak or rashes on your skin. Suitable for sensitive skin too.

This is a high quality gentle cleanser. You just dab a little of this product in your hands and you are good to go. I feel that the smell is too much for me but if you like fragrance on your products this is the way to go. The pump is very easy to use, it has a cute package and it is easy to carry if you are going to travel.

First off, I just wanna say that despite the fact that I live in the US, I go to school in France and buy my Caudalie products there so it is a good deal cheaper, hence my price rating. :) Anyway, this is a great cleanser for my dry, sensitive skin! I don't know yet if it is HG status, but it does not irritate me, smells great, moisturizes my skin, and the packaging looks lovely (not to mention the convenient pump)! Docked off one lippie simply because I don't think it removes mascara that well (I usually wear waterproof). I still use Bioderma to take off my eye makeup for that reason. The instructions say to apply the milk with a cotton pad with optional rinsing afterwards. Since cotton pads are annoying to me and leave cotton on my face, I skip that and just gently rub it on my dry face with my fingertips. Then I rinse off with warm water because I personally don't like to leave cleanser/makeup on my face. Wham-o bam-o! My skin looks healthy and feels soft!

I'm giving this product a tentative "yes, I'd repurchase." BUT, I would only purchase it for use when my skin is very dry, which for me is in the dead of Chicago winter, or for the first wash of a double cleanse followed by a more intense cleanser, since this isn't great at getting everything off by itself. Chicago winters have horrific, moisture-sucking outdoor cold and blasting indoor heat. It's a skin-moisture nightmare situation and I think this would be a good deep winter face wash, because I think it DOES leave a bit of a film on my skin but I think that little bit of moisture left over comes from the shea butter in it and would be good for keeping in some moisture on dry skin. The rest of the year I would also use it as a first wash in my nightly double cleanse. I don't think it's great at removing makeup, but as a gentle first step to loosen things up before I go in with a stronger cleanser I like it. You probably won't like it as a standalone makeup remover, or if you're on the oily side and don't follow it up with something else. For drier skin or a multistep cleanse, you might love it. Smell and texture are lovely, of course.

Received a sample of this and thought I'd write a review. This stuff is awful, wish I could give it zero stars. It does not remove makeup at all. I wear light makeup and any decent face cleanser will remove it. This one literally left all my eye makeup right on my eyes, after rubbing it well. And left a greasy film on my face. I have no idea what the purpose of this product is if it's not taking my makeup off and it's not leaving my face feeling clean. It went right in the garbage.

I was not aware there was a product that could make your skin feel like a hybrid of a baby's bum and a cloud, but wonders never cease.

As a makeup remover, it's so-so, at best. Like a terrible soldier, it leaves enough behind for me to require double cleansing with Bioderma, and even then, I find there are times where my exfoliator is removing some makeup yet.

As another part of my skincare routine, it really does leave my skin extremely soft and hydrated. I liked the Dior Gentle Milk Cleanser, but this stuff is cheaper and leaves it even softer--albeit at the expense of not doing the main thing in which I purchased it to do.

If I were loaded, I'd definitely buy this again as just another step for skincare and making my skin soft. It might be better for mornings rather than as an evening cleanser, but too much cleansing leaves my skin even drier than normal, so once this runs out, I'll likely be trying something else. But for now, it's that coworker everybody really likes...but sucks at their job and really has to go once their time is up.

Pros:

- Softens the skin
- Hydrating
- Does not feel drying in the least
- Good for mornings for those that cleanse their face 2x per day

Cons:

- Does not remove makeup very well
- Expensive for what amounts to a fancy skin softener rather than a cleanser
- Does not work that well for double cleansing

I really like this cleanser. I have sensitive skin and usually stick to cleansers by Cerave, but this was even better. It's gentle, got more of my makeup off than Cerave, and made my skin look better. It didn't dry me out and didn't leave a residue. So far my favorite cleanser. One point off because it is quite expensive and really doesn't last that long.

This is a great cleanser. It makes my skin look instantly hydrated and plump. I think it does a decent job at cleansing impurities. I haven't tested it on makeup. I usually double cleanse - Shiseido cleansing oil for makeup and then this.

The packaging is perfect. Looks really pretty in calm green and the pump is so convenient.

I still feel like there must be something better out there though. I'll keep searching.

I would maybe purchase again but probably not before I try out other stuff.

Update: the longer I use this the better it gets. I think this has to be my HG. I'll keep trying others because I like keeping my options open but this will always be my staple cleanser. My skin is always hydrated, plump and fresh when I use this and since I use it twice daily my skin is absolutely lovely and glowing.
