Oh I was so disappointed with this stuff. I am totally in love with the Ginger line but this smelled kinda funny - both in the bottle and on my skin. It was still ginger but sort of icky. I tried a couple of times and once my bf told me that I smelled weird, I knew it had to go back to the store.

It is great for moisturizing and the dry oil is great - no greasy feel at all. If it weren't stinky, it might have been my favorite!

Another great offering from the Ginger Body Line. This is so good for my dry skin , I love it. It's not very greasy for an oil - I dislike feeling greasy so I am pleased with this. The ginger line is so very good for my skin , I am amazed. A good buy and not so badly priced.

I got this product as part of a set and probably would not have otherwise purchased it, as I already have the Ginger Essence and Ginger Souffle. It has the awesome ginger/citrus scent like other products in this Origins line, and I really like the convenience of the spray bottle. The jojoba oil in the spray works well for my acne-prone skin and does not clog pores. It is on the expensive side, so I'd only repurchase again when on sale or included as part of a set.

Delicious and Delectable scent! This is so light and moisturizing. It's perfect when applied to damp skin, but it sinks in well on dry skin also. I find myself spraying this on all the time. I never thought I could love a ginger scented product, but thanks to Origins. You're the Best!

This stuff smells amazing - warm and gingery yet refreshing and bit citrusy!. One lippie off because its not really a great moisturizer. I like to use this when I use unscented body lotions. Its also great in the summer spritzed on bare legs. I also love it in my hair! Spray on my hands rub together lightly and run through my hair. Smooths my flyaway frizzy bits and leaves my hair soft, shiny and smelling delicious. Its kind of pricey for the amount you get but this is something I continue to buy over and over again.

This is such a great product!! It is so useful if you do not want a heavy moisturizer on. Spray this all over gives you a healthy glow, nice lasting scent and decent moisture. Or the way that I like to use it...... I first use the ginger float in the shower followed by this ginger body gloss (I find it works best if you spray it on before you even dry off so your skin is very wet) Then I top it off with the ginger rush!! Wonderful!!

I love this dry oil. I spray it on after I shower and then top it off with the ginger lotion. My skin is incredibly soft and the smell is so fresh and clean. I will buy again and again.

Hey guys!! For all of those "light face oil jojoba freaks" out there- this oil is nothing but jojoba oil and essential oils that compose the classic Origins Ginger smell--- bergamont, coriander, ginger,lime, orange..... Aaggggh I digress. You can use this oil on face, hair, nails and body!! I find the price very economical given the ease of use and multiple applicability.
PS I am sensitive oily/combo acne prone 30 year old skin!!!

UPDATE (2012-02-17): BOYCOTTING RE. CURRENT ANIMAL TESTING FOR CHINESE MARKET

Sprayable jojoba-based oil with lovely ginger scent, with a slight citrus undertone. Also some more spiciness - cardamom, coriander - which you don't really get in the perfume proper. The matching products in this set are very pleasant, if you like the scent, and layering works particularly well with the Essence + the Gloss, making the scent last longer. It will need refreshing at the end of the day, though. The bathing products are fantastic for an indulgent treat (i.e. float + souffle). An interesting effect can also be obtained by using the Gloss and a rose-based scent at the same time.

Probably not very sophisticated, but I'm not very sophisticated on smells, and tend towards things that smell of foods I like. And other easily distinguishable natural things (flowers, grass after it's been cut, rain on leaves). The Essence is sharp but mellow, not at all sweet. Causes very few allergic reactions in people (inc. wearer), and is utterly unlike those cloying clouds that assault one in elevators and induce nausea and the wrong sort of dizziness. Can, therefore, be worn safely in public, that is, it is safe for the public around you... And many men seem to like it, finding it at the very least nice and comforting, at the most sniffing you frequently and borrowing it. Indeed, this works well as a man-scent too.

I've found the oil to be best applied after the shower, on damp skin, immediately after moisturizing (be that lotion and/or oil, depending on dryiness of skin on the day). This will not substitute as a body moisturizer, unless your skin is not too dry. Sinks in well. Two neat tricks:
(1) use on armpits before using deodorant (an unscented one here);
(2) spray a little on fingertips, rub together, and apply to back of neck and into ends of hair.

Delicious! This makes my skin smell so amazing - it's really addictive, like crystalised ginger! This gloss lightly moisturises my skin, but it isn't really enough for the dry winter. It's great in the summer and there's no greasy residue afterwards. The bottle is small and you don't get alot of product for the price, but I would purchase again and again because it smells so good. The spray bottle is simple and practical, though not particularly glam.

This gloss is great if you want a light, nice glowy sheen to your skin and a great ginger warm slightly citrus scent. It does not moisturize well, but is great for giving your skin a glow, especially for summer time.

I've bought this for years now. I usually just use it as a final spritz when I'm going out & I want my skin to have a sheen. It's not moisturising but I didn't expect it would be so I still use a regular body moisturiser before spraying this on. It's quite expensive I guess but I got my current bottle as a gift! I LOVE the scent, it can be quite overpowering at first but it soon wears down and leaves a gorgeous sweet perfume.

I love the smell and this is much lighter than the perfume - a non-greasy oil spray - what a concept. I like to spray this on my hands and run them through my hair when I do a blowout. Gives it gloss and smells amazing.

This is a scented body oil that you spray on. For what it is, it costs a lot of money. If you're totally in love with Origins' Ginger scent, you'll probably love this-- I still love the scent, but this is so extravagantly expensive I can't see myself buying it again. It's an average body oil--it moisturizes some, it makes you shiny, your skin absorbs it, it goes away. The scent lasts a bit better than the shower gel or bubble bath (duh, you don't rinse this one away), but I can't get over the price and it's not a magical product, it just smells good and is overpriced. So I won't be repurchasing.

I paid $18 for this. What a waste. The formula is nice (non-greasy but moisturizing, good for summer) but I bought it for the scent. The scent lasts for no more than 20 minutes. Buy an unscented dry oil spray and save yourself $15.

I LOVE this body gloss! Always feel very relaxed and warm after I use it. Contains heaps of natural ingredients to moisturise and give my body an all over sheen. Does not contain mineral oil which is a plus. The only drawback is that this is suppose to be a BODY gloss yet the bottle is only 100ml (3.4 oz). Lovely indulgent product if money was no object as it retails for AU$45 :)

I LOVE this stuff the smell is wonderful...a light, clean refreshing ginger scent, this is wonderful in the summer when you don't want to put globs of lotion on...it leaves my skin with a nice glow and it's really light so it feels great only thing I don't recommend it for is really dry skin because it's very light and doesn't moisturize all that well....other than that I love it

If you need to use a body moisturizer during the summer but want something light, this is the ticket. I spray this into my palms then apply it to my skin. It moisturizes well (but lightly) and leaves a pretty sheen (no glitter or sparkle) on the skin. Great product.
