I can't believe this stuff is getting such a low rating! I have pretty light olive toned skin. I use this stuff in the spring before it looks appropriate for us white girls to be really dark. This lotion is pretty fool proof, easy to apply, does NOT streak. The only place I can't seem to get right is my hands but that goes for any self tanning product. This is the darkest gradual tanner I have tried. I start by putting on 2 coats 4 hours apart on the first day and then continue to apply everyday. Make sure you exfoliate in the shower of course. Oh, and I even put this stuff on my face and it doesn't break me out. Everyone keeps asking me if I went and did the Versa Spa thing.... nope..... gradual tanner! Much cheaper and not high maintenance. Just use it like you would any other lotion!!

I am super pale. I use the lightest color foundation from almost every makeup brand and this makes me look nicely tan. I have been using this lotion for a few weeks now and I love it. Simple, even, non streak applications, and the smell is a LOT better than most. I will admit I am sort of a high end makeup snob and have tried many MANY self tanners with price not being an issue. This is the best of them all.

I've always hated self tanners until I found this product. I've bought very high end self tanners and they all do the same thing...leave me orange! I like that this product mixes moisturizer and self tanner...it helps dilute the colour. What I do with this self tanner is mix it with a little more of my own moisturizer (any kind, really) and I blend it into my skin for at least 5-7 minutes...until it's completely dry...whenever people see me they think I just went tanning outside...this is the only tanner that has not left me orange...I truly love it!

My skin is naturally VERY pale.
I try to stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible, and I always wear spf 30 head to toe.

But you'd never know it.

Thanks to Endless Summer in Light/Medium, I'm never without bronzed, glowy (and healthy) skin. I've loved this stuff for years; I buy 3-4 of 'em @ at a time....I apply every other evening after lightly exfoliating. I guess it's sort of an expensive ritual, but considering the $ I'm NOT spending on tanning beds, it's not too bad! (Not to mention the money I'll save later in life by not having to deal with skin cancer)

I couldn't go without it. Highly reccommended!

Gave me a gorgeous tan (never orange), but SMELLS SO BAD.. and the smell lingers too! By far develops the best colour out of all the sunless tanners I have tried.. and my skin is pale.

NOTE: do not swim in chlorinated pools with this stuff on! It RUBS OFF from the chlorine and you'll be left looking like a blotchy mess that you can rub off with your fingertips.

Would have given it a 5 if it did not smell so bad.

Two summers ago, I LOVED this stuff! The foam made it really easy to apply, and it was easy to cover my whole body quickly. The color was it made me was always brown, never orange, and looked very natural on me (blonde, with pale skin. My mom actually scolded me for being out in the sun, because she didn't know that the color was fake!) However, it must be discontinued because last year I couldn't find it anywhere, I checked longs and walgreens a few days ago and they only had the lotion, not the foam. The problem with the lotions is that they are usually thick and hard to spread, thus resulting in missed spots. Anyway, this is great stuff and if anyone knows where to find it or a similar product please let me know!

I love this product! It has never left me blotchy and i have been using this for years. It keeps skin moisturized while giving a natural tan plus the color develops within 30 minutes. Kinda pricey but you get a lot in the bottle. Only negative is it only last a few days

i LOVE this self-tanner. i have tried almost every other tanner listed on the boards and the benefits of this completely outweigh the negative aspects. and its cheap! i am asian with light-medium skin tone when not tan and this can get me really really dark. almost as dark as i can get when i tan (and i tan and turn very brown easily) people always think ask if i went on vacation somewhere or think i have been to a tanning salon. the color looks that natural. i do notice that a bottle goes rather quickly if i use it a couple times a week. and its getting harder and harder for me to find in stores. the smell does suck, but i do it at night, then shower in the morning so i dont have to stink all day so it doesnt matter. i like the way the lotion dispenses too. you dont get the bottle all grimy from grabbing it with lotion-y hands. all-in-all GREAT self-tanner. i am afraid it will stop being sold soon as the only place i can find it is meijer and walmart, not target, walgreens, or cvs .. anyone know anywhere else?

This is the first self-tanner I actually had TO WASH OFF!!! It stunk to high heavens. Like copper doorknobs or old dirty pennies or something. Whatever it was, it just stunk. I was left with a subtle tan after I washed it off but it was still quite streaky and orangey. The stench lingers throughout the house too .. ughhh. NEVER again!!

I love Coppertone Endless Summer! I've used this product for about 5 years, and I [still] love it. My results have always been impressive and desirable.

Seasons after seasons I have received tons of compliments, and converted many friends to the secret behind my 'tan'...

Its only vice is that the smell is unpleasant.

I take my time, and massage the product into my skin by dividing my limbs into invisible sections.

I start with my ankles, blending up to mid-calf. From mid calf to knees; and so forth.

Go easy around the elbows, and blend shallowly down to your feet.

Keep in mind the way your skin naturally tans. You never are sunburnt on the bottom of your feet, for instance.

Don't forget to wash your hands afterwards, and scrub in between your fingers! =)

Endless Summer blows all the other self-tanners I have used away in the quality of the color. After I used it my brother asked me why my arm was sunburnt when I hadn't been in the sun. This product gives you a deep red/brown/golden glow that is so natural and gorgeous.

The only problem is that some comes off in the first hour after your put it on, so be careful.

I love the results of this product, but...... it takes sooooooo long to dry! I put it on in the evening after I shower and sit around in my old bikini bottoms and a tshirt waiting for it to dry properly. I sit on a beach towel draped over the recliner too. By letting it dry about 45 minutes, I haven't had any staining on my pjs or sheets. I use that time to read, do my nails etc. This would NOT be the product to use in the morning or if you are in a hurry. I love the fact that I can check the results after about 30 minutes and see if I messed up anywhere. I should note that I only use this on my legs. As for the smell, I don't notice it after it dries unlike other products I've tried - i.e Jergens. I buy this every summer and have always been pleased.

I gave this a 4 even though it STINKS because it's honestly the best self tanner I've used - and being as pale as pale gets, I've used alot. The color I get from this is the color of a true tan - not orange at all and not even "golden" really. It leaves me with more of a deep reddish beige tint that makes my skin look like it really did spend some time basking in the sun.

I'm not even sure if I prefer mystic tan. Mystic tan is easier, quicker and doesn't smell nearly as rancid but I love the color that this product leaves my skin enough to put up with the drying time and horrid smell. If the smell wasn't so repulsive, I'd have given it a 5.

color wasn't so bad, BUT it stained my towels and my clothing. I don't think it works for warm weather since you sweat alot and chances are, you're going to end up with stained collars.

Wow, I'm floored by how many people hate this stuff. Personally, I love it! I have used every self-tanner out there (Savage Bronze, St. Tropez, Banana Boat, Lancaster, Neutrogena, Estee Lauder, Clarins, Lancome, etc) and find this self tanner to be right up there at the top! (NOTE: I'm assuming that we're referring to the dual-chamber Endless Summer that comes in a bronze bottle.)

I have already somewhat tanned skin so I used the Medium/Dark, thinking it wouldn't be dark enough. Wrong. It was plenty dark, lasted for days, and faded gradually. No streaking at all with me. Maybe the trick is to blend, blend, and blend some more. In any event, I wish I had bought a ton more of this stuff when I was in the States because you can't buy it where I live. Will definitely purchase again next year!

I've used several self-tanners & even gone and had myself 'airbrushed' (at the cost of almost $35/£25) but nothing I've used compares to this. I think this is the best sunless tanning product out there (well, when compared to the products I've used!). I use the light/medium shade (if you're fair, do not attempt to use dark in hopes of achieving a darker tan -- this is how people end up looking orange!) and I have a nice, even light to medium tan. My skin is already in better condition & it's great that it's oil free. Fades evenly, just like a natural tan. This product is like the real thing ! I used the endless summer lotion not foam.

Pros: nice dark color in 30 minutes. I wasn't overwhelmed by the scent, didn't really even notice it. Cons: streaky streaky streaky - even with careful application this stuff is treacherous. It tends to rub off on clothing even when I think it's dry. This is OK when you are desperate for some quick color and/or to prolong a natural tan because the streakiness doesn't show up when you already have a bit of color.

I assume this is for the dual-chambered self-tanner that comes in the bronze packaging.

I bought this on sale for 8.99 [instead of the 13.00 price tag] at Raley's. I got the medium/deep one. My first pump of the product worried me because one chamber gave me more product than the other so I was afraid the proportions might not be even, but then the more I pumped it out, it came out at the same time. Anyway, it was easy to apply [like a lotion]. No color guide, so I couldn't tell where I applied it or if I missed certain areas. Doesn't smell like typical self tanner at first [it's supposed to have a fresher fragrance], but then as it set it in, the all-too-familiar smell came back. the pro: color developed within an hour and continued to develop overnight but [here's the CON] when I woke up, I noticed that it left me streaky in some areas [legs] and looked kind of orangy. It's suggested on the bottle not to apply a lotion prior to using this because one of the chambers IS already a lotion, so I don't know what caused the streakyness. I don't consider myself a self-tanning amateur [because my favorite is SUN LABORATORIES DARK SUNSATION LEVEL 4], so I guess this isn't a very good product.
