This is now my HG for hand cream! I bought this last year because my hands are ALWAYS super dry!! I hate having to wait for my hand cream to dry and this dries super fast! It smells so nice, like vanilla. I still have quite a bit of product left, this lasted me a little over a year and I use it every day. You really only need a little bit of product, it's not like typical hand cream where you need a huge squeeze of product. I bought this at Sephora for $18 canadian. It is pretty expensive but it's the best $18 dollars I've spent on a hand cream and I will definitely repurchase!

I love this hand cream because it smells amazing, but unlike a lot of products with a sweet scent, it doesn't irritate my skin. My hands are super, super sensitive--usually I can't use anything scented because it makes my skin dry and inflamed--but this stuff is moisturizing and gentle. If you live in Canada you can get it from ebeauty.ca for $18: http://bit.ly/on6qiJ. The only other place I've seen it is in Sephora.

Other than La Mer and Origins, this is one of the few hand creams I use regularly and stock-up on. This one isn't as moisturising as the aforementioned so I really only use it in summer. The biggest draw for me is the fragrance. The description mentions vanilla but I find it more like cream cake with a hint of pistachio. It isn't overly sweet either, like some of the other Cake Beauty products nor does it smell in any way artificial. I'm tempted to but the new Milkmade products to use with this but some of the reviews for them haven't been great so I'll probably just stick to this for now...

I bought a huge sample kit of Cake products at the Bay with a gift card. I love Cake! This stuff is awesome. I have very dry hands. A bit of this and they feel protected and smooth. I am keeping it at work since I wash my hands so much here.

100 ml/3.4 fl.oz costs $18 Canadian.

I really enjoy using Milkmade Velveteen Hand Cream. I always keep a bottle next to me. It's not too greasy, and leaves my skin feeling soft. It has a very nice, light scent. It's good if you're sensitive to smells because it's not over powering in the least. I actually wish it was a little stronger.
I would repurchase this again because it's difficult for me to find a nice smelling hand cream that works, that won't turn into an odd smell once on my skin. The only gripe with this hand cream is the expense. Especially when you add on $7 something shipping, plus tax. If only it was a little cheaper. It's a very nice product though!

I liked this hand cream, until I realized it's pretty much identical to Eucerin's hand creme, only with an added fragrance. I really adore the packaging and scent (think strawberry milk/marshmallows), but it isn't worth me paying more than twice as much, per ounce. On it's own merits, it's a good moisturizer - it's not going to cure severely dry hands, but it should be enough for most people, and it absorbs pretty fast. Unfortunately, unless the price is lowered I wouldn't buy again.

Love this stuff! The smell is incredible! I usually hate applying hand cream because I hate waiting for it to sink in, but this stuff changed me! I love the way it makes my hands feel, perfectly moisturized without feeling heavy and sticky. Also this stuff smells so good I wish I could eat it.

Price is a little much, but i'm a sucker for cute stuff, and cake definately is. I had a problem with the entire lid popping off in my bag one time but it only happened with one bottle and I blame myself for being so rough.

Otherwise perfect!

Got mine from the Barbie collection. I love the smell, the main reason why I got it. Smells like REAL dessert- hints of vanilla and a distinct citrus note to it. Too bad I think the staying power is close to zero, then again my first instinct when spraying Eau De Parfum is to spray myself FOURTEEN times lol.. others might still be able to able to pick up the scent after a while =/

The moisturizing property is decent considering its the Canadian winter and I come in contact with water a lot.. I like how it is not greasy and absorbs quickly. Love the precision of the opening of the flip top. But for 100ml only, it is quite pricey..

But that did not stop me from picking up another bottle of brown sugar scrub and bathing candle from the same collection cuz I just absolutely adore the scent =DDD

This hand cream has the absolute best scent ever. I don't even know how to explain the scent but there are definitely hints of vanilla in it. The cream itself is super moisturizing and non-greasy. I will definitely repurchase over and over again even though it's a bit expensive.

Here's a review of one of the other products I was pleasantly surprised by: Milk Made Hand Creme by Cake.

I first received this as a gift from the W Network about a year ago. I had no idea what it was and had never heard of the brand before (apparently it's some sort of upscale trendy brand?? And it's Canadian!) but decided to give it a go.

Boy, was I surprised! This hand cream is absolutely divine. It feels creamy and very smooth, and spreads easily on your hands. It absorbs within a reasonable amount of time and doesn't leave that gross greasy residue.

This cream gets big points on the moisture factor: it leaves your hands supple and soft; I particularly like using it on my cuticles and areas of my hand that get the most dry. It is quite simply a pleasure to use.

So what are the major drawbacks?

The Smell: It has marshmallow extract in it, which makes it smell like some sort of super-sweet, somehow creamy vanilla marshmallow. Totally eatable. If you're into smelling like candy and/or baked goods, then you'll probably love this to bits. I, however, prefer a less noticeable scent. Though I must admit that I've gotten used to it now, and the benefits still outweigh this minor detail.

The Price: At $18 a pop for a small tube, it is definitely an indulgence. I have received 3 tubes in succession as Ad Gifts therefore never having to purchase it myself. Will I buy it again once I run out? Possibly. Though I would definitely check for sales, discounts or trades on Makeup Alley, etc. first, and avoid paying full cost if possible.

So where can you get this?

I've seen the line at certain Bay stores. I'll bet its at the nicer Sears locations (Eaton Centre) as well. Sephora also carries it now.

Overall I think this is a great product and would recommend it to anyone who's not afraid to splurge from time to time. I'd love to hear if anyone else has tried this product, and what they thought of it!

...I sure hope I get some more as gifts!!!

overall: i definitely will repurchase this hand cream. it is soo light, fluffy, and non-greasy, which is a pleasant change. also, it has a soft milk scent with a hint of marshmallow. i started using it it on my feet as well as my hands and my skin feels silkier and smoother. package: i like the plastic tube and cap, but the print is cute and pink.
price: $18 USD for a 100ml is pricey, but i am willing to spend it for this hand cream.
ingredients: water, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, peg-75 steate, ceteth 20, stearate 20, dimethicone, glycerin, stearic acid, propylene glycol, marshmallow extract, milk powder, mango butter, shea butter, triethanolamine, phenoxyethanol, ethylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben, fragrance. i wish there were less synthetic emollients and less preservatives.

I got this as a gift and I really like it. It is not too greasy, smells great, is moisturizing, and comes in a cute bottle. I would not buy it though because I think it is pretty expensive for a hand cream.

I love this hand cream. Your hands keep getting softer as you apply it every day. The smell is amazing and it even gives the skin on your hands a nice subtle healthy glow! It's expensive, but since when has that stopped us from benefiting from a great product that actually does what it says it does? After all, you have to take care of your hands, they are the first place that start to show signs of aging because people are so busy taking care of their face and neck that they forget all about their hands, and if they start to age prematurely there's no hiding them unless you live in the Arctic and can wear gloves all day every day heh heh... what were we talking about??? Oh yeah, this cream is awesome!

As someone who has never cared for hand cream after trying it out at Sephora I knew I HAD to have it. I randomly put some on while in the lineup and forgot about it till I was halfway home when I picked up on the subtle scent. If you grew up playing with strawberry shortcake dolls this is a must have as this cream will bring you back in time - it smells exactly like it! There a mixture of scents including mango and marshmallow and the more you smell it the more you pick up on these pretty scents instead of just the plastic dolls we grew up with. I love that not only does it smell so good but it leaves your hands feeling so soft and velvetty smooth. And the packaging is so pretty and practical for a hand cream. Definitely worth the price and I will definitely rebuy.

I love the smell of this product. It is light and sweet, and absorbes easily. My hands feel very soft and smooth after I put it on. It's expensive for how much you get, though.

I love how the scent is so soft. A very pretty scent. A decent handcream but not the best I've used. Good thing is that it absorbs very quickly. I would recommend this to people who love cake scents generally and who doesn't have dry hands!

Not my favourite hand cream. I love cake's scents, usually, but this one was sort of cloying. I was expecting a frosting sort of smell and it's kinda like vanilla with cherry cough medicine. It isn't greasy, but I don't like the feel; sort of dirty feeling, not soft. Maybe I just got a bad bottle.

This stuff is fantastic! It's absolutely scrumptious. The cream is rich and super moisturizing (made my hands SUPER soft) yet fluffy in texture and absorbs quickly into the skin. It has a milky, marshmallow-like smell that is very reminiscent of Strawberry Shortcake and her cupcake accessories (remember her?) It smells more berry/marshmallow-y from the tube and more milky when applied, however the scent becomes subtle once absorbed into the skin. The thin tube is clear with some decorative pink - perfect for seeing just how much product you have left. It stands upside down easily, and has a unique translucent white lid - when you open the lid, the inside is slanted! The opening is right at the end and dispenses the perfect amount, so you never worry about air bubbles or wasting cream near the very end. I paid $22 CDN for a 100mL (3.4 fl.oz) tube which is definately on the expensive end, but you'll feel that it's worth the extra dollars.

To top it all off, Cake Beauty is Canadian and we should all support our Canadian-based companies. :)
