I am absolutely in love with this mascara have been using it since 2005 and sadly you can now only purchase it online. This mascara gives you the biggest longest thickest lashes ever. Love it and I always go back to it.

This is very nice mascara and it makes my eyelashes beautiful, and longer and thicker.I prefer this more then Diorshow, which is terrible mascara with thick brush, thick brush is not good in ym opinion,it cannot gets everywhere and catch all the eyelashes.I recommend this mascare, makes eyes more open and beautiful.

What a waste of money! Usually, I only buy cheap, DS mascara, because I like to throw the tubes away after a month of two. I went to Macy's to stock up on my PX foundation and concealer, and the SA talked me into this mascara. I was hesitant, but she told me that this product would not smudge, or dry out.
Well, I wore this mascara two days in a row. At the end of both days, I had racoon eyes, and large, visible, clumps of mascara everywhere. This mascara is going back to Macy's, and I doubt that I will ever purchase department store mascara again...

I have been buying this since its launch. For me it provides full lashes, nicely separated, without stray flecks later in the day. My only criticism is the tube doesn't always close completely, accelerating dry out.

This products really helps my long eyelashes look their best. I wear the brown, and even so, my eyes pop. I get compliments on my eyes all the time. It stays on all day, does not leave me with "raccoon eyes", and definitely does not clump. I go through a tube roughly every four months, although I do not know how that compares to other mascaras. Best of all (and this is a huge perk), this mascara is perfect for sensitive eyes. Clinique mascara always made my eyes water and burn, but this is the only mascara I have found that does not bother me one bit, even when I accidentally get some in my eyes.

At Nordstrom they tried this mascara on me and over the mascara I was already wearing it was ok. Although when I tried it at home it seemed to goop on the brush as I had to wipe the brush off a lot. It isn't a horrible mascara if you need something simple as it keeps your lashes smooth and not brittle feeling. It also washes off really well. Although for me it doesn't work because no matter how many times I curl my lashes before I put it on, it will NOT keep the curl which is highly disappointing. Also it doesn't make my lashes any longer than my cheap drugstore brand, which is very disappointing. I think I'll see if I can find something that works better.

Absolutely love this! Really makes you look like you are wearing false eyelashes. Doesn't smudge either. Unfortunately, it's not available at where I am at anymore. So sad.

My main issue was that this smudged & flaked no matter what was done, oddly enough, it seemed to dry out rather quickly too. I never even saw any kind of amazing lashes either. Waste of good money

got this as a sample with a prescriptives online purchase. It was ok at first but then started to be more flaky and clumpy. I normally don't have that problem with my staple Loreal Volumnous. Big disappointment!

I've been in search of the perfect mascara--I have long black eyelashes but want really full lushious thick eyelashes. I've tried others, even after using this one, but so far I haven't found a mascara that matches this one. My lashes really do look lush, even in pictures and perfect for a dramatic evening look which is what I found so many mascaras fail in giving me that look. I'm definately going back to repurchase this product!

I agree, this mascara worked well the first couple of times but has a dry formula so it dried out very quickly and did not apply well and started to flake. I felt really cheated for buying it.

Why do I always get conned into buying over-priced crap everytime I'm at the makeup counter? Yea it worked the first couple of times I used it. Didn't really make my lashes look fake, I didn't really expect it to. Then it just dried out and became a cakey mess.

I wasn't impressed. It didn't do anything for me.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Blond, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Hazel
The reason this is called false eyelashes is because my real lashes are not clumpy, spider leg looking, flaky and smudging constantly. This mascara is a waste.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Red Eyes: Green
Tried this mascara once and it was a good one. I was actually a little surprised that it did add length as I have tried a lot of other Prescriptives products that didn't deliver. I got this on a promotion deal, so that was another factor in my willingness to try/purchase this mascara. It's reasonably priced for a mascara. I have since gone back to my regular one and continue to try others (can you say: "MAKEUP ADDICT" lol). It didn't impress me enough that I would purchase it again but I can say it's worth a try if you are on the "fence" about this mascara.

I really like this mascara. Its one of the only ones that looks good and keeps looking good all day. Especially here in Florida. It does a good job of seperating and lengthening. I find that I have to apply it rather quickly because it does dry fast. Other than that I am very happy with it.

if i could, i'd give this mascara 3.75 lippies. it is a really good mascara, especially compared to some of the ones i've tried (and i've tried A LOT, let me tell you!). it has a slightly drier consistency than other wetter mascaras, and this is a good thing because it doesn't uncurl your lashes at all when you apply it. sometimes with drier mascaras, you have to apply 3 layers to get your lashes completely covered because the product doesn't seem to transfer well from the brush onto your lashes, but i don't have that problem at all with False Eyelashes. the length and volume this mascara gives is about a 5/10, pretty average. not wimpy and not wow either. it doesn't clump or make your lashes stick together, doesn't smear, and doesn't seem to flake (unless i take a nap with it on and even then the flake-age is minimal!). it washes off easily. i also have to say i really like the packaging; the brush is tapered and much thinner at the top (think a christmas tree shape) and this helps at getting your corner lashes w/o too much mess. also, the cap on the wand has a little rubber section on it, and this seems to help you really get the cap twisted on extra tightly to prevent air from getting in there and drying your mascara out! i would probably buy again, but i'm always on the hunt for "the one" so i can't say i'd be faithful.

I first purchased this from QVC years ago & was on Auto-delivery. I totally LOVED it & thought it was worth the $$ because it didn't flake or clump, made my eyelashes crazy long with only 1 coat, lasted all day, and washed off easily.
But THEN, when QVC started selling prescriptives False Eyelashes "plush" mascara, my good old faithful HG of mascaras was NOT the same anymore. I noticed the "old" formula did not make my lashes as long and it was flaking, not only onto my face but getting into my eyes.
Is it just too much to ask to always be able to depend on your mascara - especially if you're paying out the wazoo for it?!! Aaaghh!
Needless to say I cancelled the auto-delivery. I've renewed my mascara HG search. bummer.

This mascara was recommended highly, but what a disappointment. It looks good when you apply it, but nothing special really. By the time 2-3 hours had passed, I had raccoon eyes -- totally smudgy underneath my eyes, and I had not even applied it on lower lashes at all, just upper lashes. Have re-tried this mascara several times, but results are always the same for me.

i like this mascara. i don't think it makes my lashes as long as it should for the price but it doesn't flake, look clumpy or unnatural. i haven't found anything better so i'll be keeping it around. i haven't experienced any of the smudging that other ppl have talked about - thankfully.
