I wanted to love this product because the Biotherm products are overall pretty good. This one wasn't one of the good ones. It's pretty perfume-y, and although it's not a terrible scent, it can be pretty overwhelming. It goes on the skin nicely - not greasy or too heavy. Absorbs quite well (I would use it in the morning after my regular cleansing routine). The issue that I personally had was as I was applying, my skin would feel rough and grainy, and look like that in the light. This could have been the texture of the cream but it made me pretty uneasy. I work outside in the Canadian winter and found that the moisture wasn't enough to keep my skin looking healthy or plump.
I gave 2 lippies on the packaging because it isn't too hygienic to dip your fingers in with every use. It was also pretty expensive but you get a fair amount.
I won't buy this product again, but it isn't bad enough to turn me off of Biotherm products overall.

I was recommended this product by a facialist and I must say it's very suitable for my combination skin. The mousse cleanser is very pleasant and my skin feels clean but not tight after I use it. Nothing spectacular about the toner, it does what every toner should do - prep the skin for moisturiser. The gel moisturiser, however, deserves special mention. It really keeps skin hydrated the whole day! A lot of the redness in my skin disappeared, and I got compliments about how my skin looked more radiant.

I note some users have said that it's only good for a summer moisturiser but I disagree. I was in Israel recently for 2 weeks and this worked fine. My skin has never been happier.

I've been using this product for 5 months now and have no intention of switching.

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm using the GREEN Aquasource series.

This is another one of those products where you think: How could they possibly go wrong? But they do.
I went to Sephora to purchase my regular moisturizer, which I love, but only moisturizes (doesn't claim any magical properties: La Roche Posay Effaclar H). The sales associate told me they didn't carry that brand, but told me this one was EVEN better, etc.
Considering Biotherm is made by L'Oréal, the same company which makes my regular moisturizer, I figured they would be similar since they come from the same laboratory (only this one is 20 CAD more than Effaclar H).
WRONG! I hate being fooled by sales associates! This has a strong fragrance, a high percentage of alcohol (not wanted in a moisturizer!), and the "moisturizing" ingredients aren't all that helpful.
I got a few pimples from it (nothing major, but still), and it gave off this cooling feeling once applied from the alcohol, which is actually harmful to the skin.
But that's not it! It did not really moisturize my skin. It kept my makeup from caking and kept it looking nice all day (I had a primer on top), but when I took off my makeup at night, my skin felt dry.
And so, to make a long story short, this moisturizer is awful, expensive, and most people only buy it for the brand, which is not even dermatological, but more made by cosmeticians. Stick to good quality, made by dermatologists products for your skin. Always.
Hope this helps!

I got three samples as part of a gift bag during christmas. I used it consistently for two months. I have oily combination skin that really has a mind of its own. No matter how I moisturize, exfoliate or cleanse my skin always feels like its not absorbing the moisturizer. I assumed this leads to overproduction of oil which causes me to look like i poured a tub of canola oil on my face. Having said that the Aquasource didn't really do anything amazing for me. It's heavily fragranced, contain alcohol and left my face shiney looking. Plus it's useless in winter. This would be a nice moisturizer during the summer for individuals whose skin likes to absorb moisture. For now I'm going to stick with my jojoba oil

This is the best my skin can get!

ive tried every brand outhere (it feels like).
And in the last years ive been obbsessed by skincare:
- it should be oil free, it should be cosmetical, it should not conatin, it should, it should, it should, but have it ever made my skin that good?
no, not really, and really not for that amount of money ive spent.

This contain a bit of everything "they" say the skin doesnt need and still is the best for my skin ever. what it does and how it is.
My skin is radiant, moisturized, the spots are vanishing and does not clog my skin, everything you want. i even feel i can skip foundation :o
it smells like the best moisturizer ever, like citrus.
and even though my skin feels soo moisturized it doesnt get shiny, at all (combo skin) cause its so light. so many moistuurizer claims its oil free, and all of them always feels a bit waxy, oily and what they shouldnt feel like. this one contain oils and stuff, and never have a moisturizer felt so light and oil free.

the perfect moisturizer exists, you just have to be and have patience :)

This product makes my skin OK!Not very nice doesn't look so healthy or nothing really extra. It's moisturize it but cause of this gel texture makes my skin feel greasy little bit and cause of it doesnt feel clean and fresh. So I think for my face it's better just a simple cream texture moisturizer. But I will finish this jar for sure.

When I first used it, it reduced oiliness on my face. It was my HG product, however I have been using it for the past few years now and my face is slightly oily. This is still my go to product however am looking for something better.

I guess for those who want to jump ship from another product and reduce oiliness, this is the product for you. However, after using this product for some time, oiliness will creep in again.

I got an example of this moisturizes few days ago, and I love it! The texture is nice and creamy, but it's still not too heavy for my oily combination skin. I don't use it daily, but only when it's needed. Month ago I got a bad sunburn in my face, and my cheeks were dry weeks after that. But not anymore: I used few drops of this lotion and after that all that burnt area has been healthy, smooth and beautiful. I'll definetly buy this product after the example is gone.

Used this a lot in the summer for a few years, but I normally switch up to a heavier moisturiser in the winter, although I'm not sure it's necessary. Feels hydrating and cooling. I still use it instead of my other moisturisers in the winter when my face feels a little overloaded.
I don't like the heavy jar though. I keep dropping it and spilling the stuff on the floor!
Still, I will continue to repurchase.

good brand, pretty bottle, nice smell, nice texture when putting on
but
the gel texture kinda leaves a film on my face and it feels a little tight like dried glue. moisturizing properties not satisfied either

This is an ok moisturiser. I neither love nor hate it. I really like the smell but I find it doesnt do much for my skin, it feels a little sticky even coz its a gel but on the flip side it absorbs very quickly. Wouldn't re-purchase.

I like this moisturiser. It's light, oil-free and refreshing. However it does nothing special that my neutrogena moisturizer can't do and the jar is rather annoying. It's too expensive for something that is nice but not great so I probably won't repurchase although I can't find anything wrong with the product itself.

I've been using this moisturizer for almost 3 years and I couldn't imagine life without it. While it is a bit on the expensive side, nothing else I've tried is as good. As a person who's always running late, the gel is extremely convenient and absorbs in minutes so my face is ready for makeup. It's just the right amount of moisture and doesn't clog my pores. In fact, I've found that when I've tried to switch to other moisturizers my skin breaks out and gets blotchy. I also love the faint but fresh scent it has. My only issue is with the jar, because firstly, jars contaminate easily and secondly, it's glass, which is just not a good idea for a clumsy person like me. I've broken it before and wasted half a jar of moisturizer. But aside from that, this stuff is 100% worth the price!

This is my regular moisturizer. I have combination skin and I find this works amazing for my skin. It is also a great summer mosturizer because the light weight gel texture is cool and refreshing. The jar packaging is not the best because it can attract bacteria. I suggest taking the cream out with the end of a Q Tip!

I have oily/dehydrated/sensitive skin. I've had real difficulty finding an adequately moisturising cream/gel that does not break me out after about a week. That's until I found biotherm aquasource. I love love love it.

It's a very refreshing cooling gel that dries to a smooth matte finish, perfect for make-up wearers that despise slippery canvass when applying foundation. I have to agree that it doesn't adequately cater for winter (especially when the temperature drops below -10 degrees or more), but the cream for dry skin would murder my skin, and I have decided to supplement that wintertime inadequacy by using a serum or an oil where appropriate .... I currently love Decleor rose d'orient oil.

The packaging is not my ideal. I'm going to try the Clarins cream/gel options and see how I fare with those once I've finished my jar. Until I have explored those options this is the nearest to HG moisturizer I have used thus far.

Great face cream for the summer, especially if you are on hols in a hot country. provides excellent moisturization without clogging the pores. am not sure about its anti-ageing properties, probably non-existant, but still a very good summer face cream. you would need Sun Block.

I got this along with the cleanser and toner. After using this moisturizer for a few months, I am having ambivalent feelings about it...
Some days when I apply it, my skin goes really red and blotchy... But then it goes away overnight and my skin feels all fresh in the morning.
Other days when I apply it, it makes my face feel soooo delicate and moisturized.

Overall though, I'd have to say this moisturizer is a bit too greasy for my taste. It looks like I've put a layer of oil over my face after applying it. When I wake up in the morning, lots of the times I've noticed that the product hasn't even fully absorbed. I do exfoliate often, and I never overapply my products...

So I'm definitely trying out a new moisturizer after I finish this one up. Dermalogica perhaps?
