I really love this makeup base! This is the best make up i ever used. It can hold my make up all day long. I've combination skin. I'm using the lightest shade of the creamy make up base. Not the translucent one. The texture is really smooth too. ^^

Although the sales rep swears that it can help correct the tone by using this primer, I couldn't see any difference between putting the base on and not using it. However, what I like about this make-up base is that it helps to control oil and keeps the make-up looking matte. I barely had to touch up throughout the day. (BTW I have combi-skin and the t-zone gets oily easily).
I find the price a little on the high side. So I might try out other mattifying lotions to see if they work the same before coming back to this.

I got a sample of this from the SA and really cannot see what the fuss is about. It smells odd to begin with and besides acting almost like a moisturiser (kinda oily btw!), I didn't feel that it did me any good. To be fair, it is the only RMK product I don't like to date!

I have the transparent version of this in 00. The transparent color is great because it does not affect foundation color, but other than that I don't like this primer. My face becomes oily after a few hours either when I pair it with RMK Liquid Foundation, Creamy Foundation, Powder Foundation. The texture is hard to spread and it is not so pleasurable on the face compared to RMK Makeup Base. It doesn't hydrate the face, nor does it tone down oil. Will not buy again.

The best make up base I've tried so far. RMK is not available in my country but I was lucky enough to swap for this. I have the shade 00 which is white in colour but goes on translucent after application. I did not notice much difference until I applied on my paul & joe protective fluid foundation, which glides on so smoothly! This make up base also help to prevent my foundation from oxidising,thereby brightening up my face. Besides, it also has mattifying properties--good oil control and at the end of the day, my skin was less oily as compared to using other primers. Packaging-wise is fine.The only bad point is that there is no spf for this make up base.

For reference,Im a MAC nc 15,LM t/m porcelain, Becca LSC Sand.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! it's really great base.
it makes my skin glow and smooth right after application.
I don't have that great skin.I have a few dark spots and large pores
but this base
helps with those imperfections.When i wear this base I don't need any foundation.Plus it doesn't greasy as well.My deft HG make up base.

Even since I've started doing makeup, this is the primer I use before I put on the powder foundation. It does a good job to protect my skin from the harmful/pore clogging stuff from the powder foundation. Plus, it helps the powder stay on longer.

I bought this yesterday in 01 which according to the SA is a brightening base with light-reflecting particles. I use this underneath RMK Creamy Foundation in 102 and I must say that the result is truly phenomenal. In all honesty I think I had never looked better before... Flawless, transparent looking and luminous skin that I used to only dream of!!! The makeup base makes the foundation go on a lot easier and adds a subtle glow which gives an amazing 3D effect to my face, accentuating its contours and making my skin look generally much healthier. It's incredibly flattering. Even my boyfriend commented on how great I looked and didn't want me to wash it off even!!! Not joking! As the SA pointed out, this shade (01) is brightening and lightens up your foundation a bit so if you don't like to paler than you are, you might want to try it in other shades. This product hasn't broken me out so far =) Packaging is good and hygienic (squeeze bottle), unlike the senseless packaging of the Creamy Foundation =( I LOVE that foundation but that glass pot is totally a pain and I have no idea how to get the product out of the pot!!!!! Anyway I'll definitely re-purchase this makeup base unless I find something better.

I bought this because I'm using their Control Colour in 02 Coral. So I reckoned it would be a good idea that I stick to the makeup base as well (I"ve heard it worked better this way). This is basically a makeup primer with a pinkish/coral tint that makes you look healthier. It does an ok job on holding onto my makeup and control oil.

I wouldn't repurchase simply because I've heard some really good raves about ModelCo's makeup primer, I've tried it the other day and it feel sooooo good !! (on the back of my hand of course). If not I guess I will stick with the RMK one. Good product, the only thing is there're so many products/brands out there and I've got distracted.

I hesitated when the japanese countergirl introduced me this product. Because I have oily and acne prone skin, I thought all creamy products is a straight no-no for me. However, she told me that it is actually very effective on oily skin because it balances the oil levels and it lightens up my acne marks and scars. I don't believe her but when she experimented it on me, I really can see the difference. I will definitely purchase it again but because I was trying it out, I am scringing on it till my friend gets me more of this amazing product.

I have this in shade #01. This helps keep my t-zone shine free throughout the day, gives a nice, matte finish. The colour is a pale beige in the tube, but goes on transparent once applied.

This is the first Primer i ever bought! Its great as it agrees with my skin type (combo/ance prone) and didnt cause breakouts! it moisturises and makes it so much easier to apply my Becca concealer under eye and over old acne scars. I have nubmer 2 and 0 (which is the white one i think) i prefer the white one better, but when i'm really lazy to apply anything even concealer, nubmer 2 is great with a little shimmer in it.. i Love it! :)

This one makes my dark spot invisible without any concealer.It is good for any skin type but you need to put enough moisturizer before wear it if you have extremly dry skin as me.
Willing to get 2d one.

gives a slight sheen, and foundations goes on smoothly after i apply the base. slightly tinted so i wear iit on its own with loose powder on lazt days. . hee. good for dry skins as it is pretty moisturising, oilier skin can try their normal make up basE, really help foundations to lasts. the sales person are very generous in giving samples too i din even ask! ( singapore branch)

I use this in 01, under foundation or mostly just by itself with a bit of loose powder to even out my skintone. Has a slight shimmery effect, but nothing dramatic. Overall, quite a nice product.

This IS my HG makeup base of all. I'm using 01 color and it suit my RMK 102 skintone. It even out my skintone and I can just wear this alone with or without powder on lazy days. It's not greasy not too light to cover my imperfections. Love it :)

I've heard so many good reviews about this make-up base in magazines -- but it didn't work so well for me. It did nothing to even out my skin tone or cover up my pores, any more than my normal liquid foundation would. More importantly, it caused me to break out a bit on my cheeks. But I've got very sensitive skin anyway, so this probably just didn't work out for me.

This base will be good for almost any skintype I think. Evens skintone, pores get less visible, if you have pretty good skin this is all you need. I've only tried a sample, but I really like it.
