This is a really great mascara if your looking for something affordable and pretty basic that will give you a moderate amount of both length and volume.
Pros
-The price
-Dark Black Colour
-Good amount of product in tube
-Meets its claims

Cons
-Smudges and flakes
-Products isn't picked up evenly on the wand
-Is not build able, will clump majorly, one coat only.

I will repurchase this when I'm in the market for a very basic mascara for when I'm wearing practically no other makeup.

Oh, I like this. I like this a whole lot. I can see why it's a controversial choice, though. It's all about what you want in a mascara.

I am not a fan of natural-look lashes. But I can't stand clumpy spider lashes, either. So my mascara needs to deliver a lot of very black volume (don't care about length as much) in one coat. I don't use mascara on my lower lashes, because for me that's always smudgey.

I like the packaging on this mascara - big fat tube. I like the price a whole lot. I get my super-black lash volume in one coat, and I don't see any flakes or smudging for at least 8 hours. It comes off easily at the end of the day. Nice!

The hourglass-shaped brush is kind of useless to me, though. I end up using part of the brush to get an even application.

i think this mascara is pretty nice. I tried the Too Faced Better than Sex and fell in love with that, but have been trying to save money, and the brush for this looked pretty similar. It's no BtS, but it does a great job!!!!! My lashes look lush, separated, and jet black. My only gripe is that it can sometimes make my lashes droop a bit, and can be slightly raccoon- ish. Other than that, this is a pretty rad little drugstore gem and I will repurchase in the future, even though I'm a makeup whore and love to try new products constantly.

What?? Is there any mascara even coating my lashes?? Oh yes, there must be, otherwise where are all those little flakes coming from?? This stuff doesn't leave clumps. That's the only good thing to say about it. It reminds me of mascara when you've had it for a long time and you know there's hardly anything left - you apply and apply and not much happens. And the brush, I sort of like the rounded end for applying at a different angle (in an attempt to actually coat my lashes) but otherwise I don't get it. And the packaging - what's up with the fat plastic tubes mascara people always manufacture? - this is shamefully going right in the trash. Dont bother.

I purchased this mascara yesterday and so far, so good. Let's begin with the packaging; it is a little bit "chunky" like other Rimmel mascaras (Rockin' Curves, etc.) and it is black and white with circles. I guess it's to fit the retro-mod title. It features the classic Rimmel cap with the crown. Now, onto the good stuff! The formula is very black (please do keep in mind that I got blackest black) and a little bit "wet", but that's the same as any other Rimmel mascaras I've used in the past. The brush is an hourglass shape, which to my surprise seperates and coats each lash individually. It is long wearing but easy to remove. While it's no YSL Babydoll Lash or Benefit They're Real, it's worth a try.

I didn't even end up finishing the tube it was that rubbish. The wand is really fat, and the solution is really thick, and wet.

My eyelashes stuck together and was so wet and clumpy. Didn't offer much volume either.

It's in the bin to, put it frankly.

Wouldn't recommend.

It will give your lashes volume but in clumpy way so if you want to get it remember to separate your lashes with good mascara wand after you apply this

This gives me no length or thickness at all. It is very similar to Clump Crusher for me. All it does is separate. I have fairly long lashes and they are dark. There are better options out there for me (Jordana best lash extreme).

This is a very wet mascara. Transfers everywhere. The only good thing about is the lid snaps in place.

This is my favorite Rimmel mascara. It is volumizing, lengthening and very pigmented. Its not too wet or dry. It makes my lashes look full and natural, but very dramatic. There was no fallout as the day went on and I got told by multiple customers at work that I had very pretty eyes (not a compliment I usually receive)
