This color looks EXACTLY like a color of liner I had back in high school. I was SO excited when I found it! It looks great and really brings out the green in my hazel eyes. Love it!

When I feel like some quick eye makeup, Ola Viola is usually what I go for--on its own, lined and smudged on the outer third of the eye, top and bottom. I have greenish hazel eyes, and they look ULTRAGREEN! when I wear Ola Viola. I get compliments when I wear this, usually along the lines of "You look so bright-eyed and awake!" I never purchase backups, but after I bought this, I tried it on and returned to the counter immediately to buy the other two in stock. At the rate I sharpen, my stockpile should last for a good while! I consider this a personal must-have, and I will always have it in my purse. MAC NW20.

I so wanted to love this product but it is a tad to light for an Asian NW40 tone. :) I tried it on and I looked kind of immature. :T Like a middle schooler playing dress up. I think it's a little too light, but I give it 3 lippies because like the other kohl's it's so smoothe and creamy, the color is good just not on me, and it's MAC. :)

I love this color a beautifull violet with subtle shimmer that shows up well. I like to wear it with Vanilla Pigment as a wash, Pollen in the crease and Fibre Rich Lash in UV. Fantastic purchase.

I LOVE this color!! It's a vibrant lilac, Spring color, very easy to apply. I have blue eyes, and this makes them seriously stand out! I've heard it's similar to Lilacky, the power point, so I might try that one out too. I <3 MAC!!!!! Such wonderful products, and this one is no exception. I will repurchase and would highly recommend, especially for dark blue eyes.

My sister tried this one and it looked really good on her. Colour is not over the top, but just perfect. I really like the way it looked on her. Would purchase it for myself since I love PURPLE. (but it is not often I wear eyeliner).

This is a nice unique liner color. I have worn this as a liner a few times, but I usually use it as a base for my shadows and pigments.

The eye kohls from mac arent that longlasting but they are super soft and excellent for smudging. No tugging upon application. Retails for $13 for a pencil. Ola viola is a light lilac shade. Much lighter than purple. Very similiar to my preferrred Lilacky power point pencil from MAC but Ola viola is a little lighter. Makes a nice highlighter shade but a little pale as eye liner unless you use it over a darker shade to add some depth. Works well like that. I like this but I do think the powerpoint is a better purchase in terms that it will last longer.

I love this color soooo much- lilac violet shade that changes in the light. Too bad these eyeliners don't last long and smudge so easily. This goes on like a cream. I'll stick with MAC's Powerpoint pencils instead.

A very fresh and pretty spring/summer look! I am fair-medium (NC25), and have black hair and dark brown eyes. This is a lilac color, definitely darker and brighter than lavendar. I like to wear this lined all around the inner rims of my eyes, as well as half-way-out on the upper lashline. It draws subtle, yet colorful attention to my eyes...a little mascara and you're good to go. This kohl also doesn't seem to smudge or fade as much as the other kohls. I'd definitely repurchase this.

A beautiful violet-purple shade, beautiful with all eye colors. I wear mine with Nars Elsa eyeshadow duo for a really fresh and pretty look.

This is a very nice shimmering pastel purple color. I was tempted to call it lavendar, but lavendar denotes some grey tones and this one doesn't have that. It's so pretty with green eyes, and I could tell you how it looks on brown, but my hubby won't let me try it on him. Another winner from Mac.

This is a beautiful color that reminds me somewhat of Heirloom. Heirloom is more sliver though and Ola Viola is more lilac or lavender. It's too light for me to wear as the only eyeliner, but provides a nice touch to line my eyes with this when wearing purple or similar shadows -- then I apply a darker liquid liner. Though I'm very fair, I have dark brown hair & eyes, and my eyes need more definition.

I RIS this lovely item from the wonderful and ever so sweet Donnalind. Finally! A MAC Kohl I can wear! I've tried a few others..including Teddy and Prunella and even though at the time I really liked them they were relegated to a couple evening uses as they were both too dark for my taste and minimalist makeup faces. This one is fantastic! A lavender shade that is very wearable..both on upper, corners or lower lash lines, day or night, with or without any other eye color. Makes my brown eyes pop and brightens my whites. :-) I find myself wearing this to work with a little mascara and that is all I need to look polished and presentable, as far as my eyes are concerned. :-) "Me likey!"
