useless. U don't need to buy this brush, everything you will be putting on your face (blush, bronzer, powder..) you will do with other brushes. I don't seem to find a real reason for this expensive purchase.

I actually don't like using this brush with shimmer bricks or blush. It applies product too sheerly, and as a result, I'd eventually experience difficulty with getting an even application. However, while I was on the hunt for the perfect foundation brush I tested out all the blush brushes I own. This, by far, delivered the best results. The brisltes are pretty dense (suprisingly, not scratchy) and thick, so it really gives FULL coverage. Doesn't absorb a lot of product either, so you get the most mileage out of your foundation for sure. If you own this brush, I seriously recommend you try it with your liquid foundation.

I have never seen an ivory colored brush, and this brush is a standout item both in the packaging department and the performance department. This medium sized face brush is made of natural bristles, and in my opinion performs much better than synthetic bristles. It has a dense brush head and this is crucial if you want an even, airbrushed finish. I enjoy using this beautiful brush every time. Has lasted me four full years too!

I have the mini version of this as it came with my shimmer brick. But i love using this for blush! It's really good :) doesn't scratch the face and haven't experience with shredding.

I can use this brush for just about anything. From face powder, contouring, blush... It's a universal brush for sure and I love the finish it gives to any product I apply. This brush evenly blends everything. The shape of the brush is special....it's unlike any other brush I have tried and have...this is one of my most reached brush. If I lost this today, I would go get one tomorrow!

I got the full size brush along with the shimmerbrick. Yes, it applies powders (bronzer, shimmerbrick, blush) beautifully and exactly where you want it, BUT it sheds and is a bit scratchy. I have to make sure I close each eye when using this on my cheeks in case the bristles touch or shed into my eyes.

This review is for the mini, travel-sized version of this brush. I bought this because I actually wanted the travel blush brush but at the time the cosmetics outlet I was at didn't have any in any of the collections they were selling. I have a beige Shimmerbrick somewhere but haven't been using it (I guess I'm not a huge fan of the shimmer particles). I didn't really like this brush for blush because I did not find it precise enough; I used it with my La Bella Donna Compact Colour Folio Luminere with good results. I found the brush soft, and could also imagine using it with a setting powder. However, I typically don't use highlighter or setting powder, so I would not repurchase, through no fault of the actual brush.

I bought this in the travel size as part of a set from QVC and it is a cheap brush. The other ones are fine the Ultra fine eyeliner brush and the angle eye shader brush. The Face Blender sheds and the ferrule has loosened. It is too late to return. What a waste of money.

I don't really get all the hype about this brush. First of all it is not soft. It prickly. Mine is short. The SA insisted that I get the set so I fell for it which was a huuuuuge mistake. When it comes to brushes long ones are better. I hardly ever use it.

I reach for this brush often - for applying shimmer brick and for blending (bronzer, blush and foundation) and it works ok. However, it isn't the best quality. I am looking for an upgrade to this brush.

I have this brush in full size and the mini. It stopped shedding after 3 washes and the bristles are soft but for the price I was expecting better quality than my MAC blush brushes. Not impressed.

I've been thinking of getting this for a while, but hesitated because of the price. I was looking for a brush that worked well with my shu uemura glow on brush. As the face blender brush was for shimmer bricks I thought it'll be suitable.

Sure enough this worked great with my glow on blush giving it an even and natural glow on my cheeks as it is quite pigmented.

Another thing I like is that it dries really quickly and so I use if for loose powder when my powder brush is drying :'D (since that one takes a lot longer ;; ) Also I love the handle, its a good length and thickness that makes it easier to use.

The downside is that it is a bit prickly and I wished it was softer since I'm so use to synthetic brushes that are really soft and never felt prickly or scratchy, so it took so time to get use to. Also as mentioned it was pricey, I know you pay for the quality and all, but it makes me think twice about buying it.

Over all a good brush, but it did shed a little every now and then, so need to be careful when using it. Then again that goes with all brushes =D

I really donīt like this brush. It smells soooo BAD! It also doesnīt apply any shimmer from my shimmer brick and the hairs splayed all over.

I was looking forward to a super soft and all over blender brush with this one. What I got in return was a hard prickly brush that doesn't even apply/blend blush well. I don't think it works as well as my ELF studio powder brush or EDM flat top brush for foundation. Maybe I got a bad brush, or maybe I like softer brushes. The prickliness is really irritating. I would not repurchase, but I don't think I'd let go of it just yet either, it's pretty to look at. lol.

Hands down the BEST brush for loose powder application!

I use this with my Chanel loose powder to set my foundation, and it gives an airbrushed look to my face!! Unlike my MAC150 which gives me patchiness around the face when I apply loose powder over my foundation, the face blender brush allows me to buff the powder into my skin!!! I use the mini version as I have a small face, and I find it easier to reach the corners around my nose, I am not sure if the full size will work the same, but I am totally convinced by the excellent quality of BB brush!!

Like some of the other ladies here, I got the mini version of the Face Blender Brush in a set with a shimmerbrick. This has become my go-to travel brush for blush/highlighters/etc. since it is small but works wonderfully. I use this at home a lot too. It is a very versatile brush that washes up well and dries really fast since it is so fluffy. I have a small head (LOL) so I appreciate the small size of the brush since it allows for a more controlled application. The Face Blender Brush gives a light, layerable application. It is not quite as soft as my Trish McEvoy blush brushes (#2B and #37) but it is certainly not scratchy. I would definitely repurchase were this brush to wear out or become lost.

I generally like the goat hair brushes -- they seem more hygenic and don't shed too much for me.

This one -- wellllll, it sheds more than most but it is a good brush and easy to handle.

I won't repurchase as I have the short handle and long handled versions of this brush.

I got this brush for free with a shimmer brick powder...! and I really love this brush! as many people have mentioned, its very versatile and easy to use! and it picks up the right amount of powder. It may be pricey at stores, but its worth all the penny. Its a high-quality brush and it never shreds!!! not like 187 mac brush! :)

This brush is great for sheer application of powder products. If you want a more heavier application, her blush brush will be more appropritate. The hairs are soft on the skin. I love Bobbi's wooden handles, they're so pretty. The only minor problem I had with mine is that it shed about 15 hairs when I first washed it. I haven't washed it again, but I hope it won't shed anymore as it's not a cheap brush and I don't want to have to replace it after a year.
