I love citrus and jasmine, so this fragrance automatically appealed to me when I visited the factory in Grasse. I bought the parfum over two years ago and still have plenty; a little goes a long way. Granted, I do not wear this every day, but I wear it quite often. It isn't very sweet, which is fine by me; I am not a fan of overly sweet perfumes. I also like that the packaging is simple and practical; I do not have to worry about whether I will break the bottle. Hopefully, if/when I return to France, I will be able to purchase another bottle!

I would buy this product again, but I don't think I will ever have to. You only need a tiny bit and it lasts a long time and is strong!! I have had this for several years. I bought it in the south of france in Eze when I went for a trip, so this scent will always remind me of the south of France. It also reminds me of many precious moments in my life when I was wearing it so there will always be a soft spot in my heart for this perfume. To me it is so beautiful.

The citrus burst is so refreshing, this is my must-have scent for summer. The grapefruit is so succulent and mouth-wateringly juicy, it is quite addictive. The crisp florals that accompany the fruits add a beautiful honeyed depth to this wonderous scent. I would highly recommend this to lovers of very light, yet complex citrus-floral notes with a lingering, soft golden amber.

If I am ever in the market for a grapefruity scent, I will buy this one. It is a ruby red grapefruit opening--juicy and sweet/sour. The jasmine comes through in the drydown and mixes surprisingly well with the citrus.

I've had the edt for a long time and never really reach for it. To me it's just not interesting or enjoyable enough. It starts out with a 'thick' grapefruit and freesia mix that becomes almost sickening when the jasmine kicks in (for some reason this flower hasn't grown on me at all!). The middlenote also includes blackcurrant which might have improved the concoction except for the fact that I can't really detect it at all - maybe a slight sweetening (or fruitifying?) but thats it. The drydown is nicer when the amber comes out to put things right and saves the scent from 1 out of 5.
It's basically a citrusy, grapefruit scent that becomes dominated by jasmine as it develops. The top and middle notes can actually give me a headache sometimes when I'm especially tired. Despite being a citrus this definitely isn't an uplifting fragrance as it's simply too 'thick' for that. I beleive the 'thickness' comes from the combination of jasmine and grapefruit which, in my opinion, isn't a very good combinaton.
The bottle is quite a pretty piece with a cylindrical flask topped with a gold crown and an artistic sun engraved into the glass at the bottom of the bottle. It will probably sit on my dressing table until I decide to sell it on ebay.

This scent was purchased for me at the Fragonard shop in EZE, France. It is a lovely citrusy fragrance. I don't wear it too often but it is nice when the mood hits for something different. I only need one spritz since it can be kind of overpowering.

A warm wondeful grapefruit, fruity without being foody. Ideal summer scent.

I can't believe I'm down to my last fifth of an ounce or so of this fragrance and hadn't yet reviewed it. I'll be all out of it in a day or two and will miss it; it's a fantastic (what else?!) scent for hot weather, especially, as crisp and bracing as a few shots of tonic water poured over a huge glass of crushed ice and quartered lime. Where the jasmine - an almost always cloying and hot note - comes in in this relatively simple equation of jasmine, freesia, grapefruit and blackcurrant, I've never been able to figure. There's nothing sweet or even particularly "pretty" at all about Eau Fantasque (though I do get the astute Votivo reference made by another reviewer here; it's indeed similar to quite a few of Votivo's scents, which - with the exception of the famous Red Currant - all tend to smell alike to me.) It's just good, very clean fun. I will likely repurchase this sometime in the future, as I've really grown accustomed to it after having gone through a full 100 ml bottle.

This one smells exactly as Eau par Kenzo on me, may be a little bit more citrusy, but it is almost the same fragrance to me, with less lasting power!

One of my all-time favorites! Smells like heaven, soft fresh white blossoms with a dab of fruit and warm amber.

This fragrance is light, fresh and breezy. It initially reminded me a lot of Chanel Cristalle in character, but where Cristalle is citrusy, Eau Fantasque is more "cool" or "blue" -- like water / rain. After about an hour of wear, it smelled exactly like the Votivo "river rock" candle which I don't find very appealing.
Overall I'd have to say that this fragrance is nice and pleasant enough but very light. Had it worn better on me (eg, how it first smelled when applied) I would have ranked it higher.

Very light and perfect for summer. Citrus and floral mix is subtle and not overpowering. Grapefruit, black currant, jacinthe and freesia.

I am a Fragonard fanatic! I discovered Eau Fantasque a few years ago when my friend got into my car, her father had just come back from France and brought her a set of tiny bottles of Fragonard perfume. Suddenly, my car filled with the best scent I had ever smelled! I was in heaven! My friend was wearing Eau Fantasque. Shortly after, it became possible to order from Fragonard online. I love "cool" scents with a grapefruit or cucumber undertone. Initially, Eau Fantasque does smell "cool", though it seems to "warm" up a bit as you wear it. The grapefruit is quite subtle, without a strong citrusy smell. This reminds me of Primal Elements Stained Glass soap, I think that it the closest scent to this perfume. It has been my staple scent for about four years now. However, I just tried a bar of Fragonard's Belle de Nuit soap, and the perfume is on it's way!

This is a refreshing fruity fragrance with a very slight sweetness but not overly cloying. Black currant, fresia, hyacinth, grapefruit. Different enough from the pack for me to put it on my wishlist. Amazingly cheap if you order it directly from www.fragonard.com in France.

This is a fun and bubbly fruity fragrance remniscant of Versace Time for Pleasure, Sexy Graffiti etc. I typically dislike sweet fragrance, and this is no exception. But if you like either of the above scents you should try this.
