I bought this merely because of the scent. It smells great, but as a body scrub, it is terrible. It is extremely difficult to wash off and leaves an oily residue on my skin. Rather than feeling exfoliated and clean, I feel like I need to take an another shower. I accidently got this in my hair while I was in the shower and there were white granuals left behind in my hair. My hair also felt sticky and gross, just like how my skin feels after I use this.

I absolutely do not like this product. The smell was great, but that's about it. It was hard to rub in and I did not feel clean after using it because I felt sticky all over. This product was a mess to use. It felt kinda waxy and I thought using excessive amount of water to rinse it off would get rid of the waxy film on my skin, but NO, it was hard to get off. I could actually scrape off this layer with my finger nails and I can see the residue under my nails. Eww. It also made my bath tub really really slippery with grains of micro-beads everywhere. It took a few days for my tub to be free of this body scrub. I would not buy this product again!

The first thing that attracted me to this product was the incredible smell. It's a watermelon explosion with a hint of peppermint twist. After using it, I had to make my boyfriend smell the bathroom since the scent was so lush. I don't like harsh exfoliators, so this one was just right with small granules of sugar. I was even able to use it on my face without a problem. The consistency was a bit thick, being one of the main ingredients is paraffin. Overall, though, it left my skin smooth enough to compare to marble and I found that my skin was able to "drink" the moisture in after only half an hour.

This smells really good! It's really moisturizing, but not quite as scrubby as I would like. I added a good amount of organic raw cane sugar that's a bigger sized grain and it made it so much better! It's a nice refreshing fruity smell that I enjoy alot.

TERRIBLE! Yes the smell is spectacular but the consistency is SO bad! It's literally like a soft candle wax with lots of rough sugar particles in it. It is so hard to rub into my skin and I got little benefit from it.
AND it left a WAXY RESIDUE BUILDUP on my skin that I could actually scrape off with my fingernails! Even when I washed off with soap after using it!!!
Hands down the worst body scrub I've ever tried. I could concoct far better with ingredients from my kitchen!

Love, love, love the smell...This body scrub is a great value (the tub is very large) and it has plenty of scrub for me. It is oily so be very careful that you rinse your shower. I use this on my feet with a pumice stone and they come out so soft. I wish Boots made a melon/mint body butter. I will purchase this product again.

It doesn't really exfoliate all that well, but I LOVE the smell. If you buy the largest jar I'd say you'll get a lot for your money, and I'll probably buy it again, although I'll use it with some exfoliating gloves.

I'm a body scrub whore. I buy any and every kind of scrub. This is def my fave. It smells heavenly, kind of like a snow cone or something lol.More melony than minty. You only need a tiny tiny amount, which could be why some people were getting clumps in the bathtub. If you get too much it WON'T spread out, but use a little and it does the job. The oily feeling it leaves behind is subtle and I just think it makes my skin feel soft, especially after I put lotion on. It's not expensive at all and you get a huge huge tub. I'm in love, and will buy again if I ever run out.

Wow, I'm surprised at all of the bad reviews. It is a bit oily but it leaves me feeling soft and not greasy so ok by me. I love the scent too. I find it scrubby enough for me, but I have sensitive skin.

Doesn't exfoliate at all, just leaves you oily. I might try one of the reviewers' ideas below and add some salt to this to at least make it scrubby, but I won't buy this one again.

Adore the smell of this. So amazingly fresh. They've changed the packaging now and it now comes in a much bigger tub. I've found it gives more than enough exfoliation for me (so maybe the formulation's changed since earlier reviews too??). Good value - nice packaging, smells great and it works. My only minus would be for the slightly oily feel it leaves on the skin, but that's no big deal.

EDIT - I've taken a couple of lippies off because this didn't keep well. After a month or so on the shelf, it seemed to lose a lot of it's scent. Also I really started to find the oilyness of it unpleasant. I don't mind moisturisation, but this was starting to feel (maybe connected to the loss of scent) like sugary lard. Not as good as it first appeared :(

Hmmm...guess I'm in the minority here because I absolutely love everything about this body scrub. It's got a great smell, texture and finish. It's a much gentler exfoliator than normal, but with 3 weeks use the kp on my upper arms is 80% gone. It doesn't leave my skin torn up like most scrubs nor does it leave my skin super greasy. It's the first scrub I've used up in ages and will definitely repurchase. I bought mine at Target. It can be a bit tricky to work with because it's slick when you first scoop out of the tub. What I find works is to scoop out a small handful and rub my hands together until it breaks up a bit and then spread onto my skin and massage in. I hope Target never stops carrying it.

This product smells amazing (which is why I gave it a 2 instead of 1) but it does not exfoliate at all. Nor does it spread over the body easily. More than that, the little clumps fall off when you are trying to use it and get stuck to the tub. If you don't wash them off right away, they make the tub floor slippery and dangerous. I hate that it doesn't work, since the smell is so incredible. Will not buy again.

I love the fresh minty melon scent of this, but as noted before, it's not that exfoliating. Not exfoliating at all in fact! This can be helped by adding ordinary table salt to the scrub , giving it a good stir and then slapping it on. This actually makes it a pretty effective scrub, better than some in fact as it is less greasy. I would buy it again as I love the smell!

This scrub smells absolutely divine, fresh fruity melon and mint fragrance which actually drew my hubby into the bath room to ask what the lovely smell was. he is very fussy about fragrances so that should tell you how good it smells. It has a nice thick texture and is a pretty pale green. However it is definitely not the scrubbiest scrub ever, and i find it works better with skin just damp, rather than soaking in the bath, as the granules are very small. Leaves skin smelling gorgeous, if it had just bigger granules it would get a 5!

I'm a fan of the Boots Mediterranean line, so on a recent trip to the UK, I picked this up. It smells amazing... and that's as far as it goes. It's not grainy enough for me, which defeats the purpose of me buying a scrub.

The melony minty scent is gorgeous but it's so thick in consistency that it's hard to spread over your skin. Not that exfoliating either. My HG scrub remains L'Oreal's Exfotonic in the green tub - best I've ever found by miles.

I absolutely love body scrubs and have tried several brands. I heard about this one during my travels to England and decided to give it a try. It has neat packaging, smells great but does not work. The consistency is like petroleum jelly and it simply does not exfoliate. Although I prefer salt scrubs to sugar scrubs, I have less expensive sugar scrubs that exfoliate better. You should pass on this one.

This scrub has a lovely texture and an amazing fresh smell, it's such a pleasure to use. However, I've used more exfoliating scrubs. You do gets loads for the price but it's not the best out there for very dry skin.
