This is the only fragrance I've ever worn that I've REpurchased. With other fragrances, by the time I'm done the bottle (or well before that!), I've gone sour on the fragrance, but not this one!... it's just so "fresh" and delightful that there's nothing not to love, unless you don't like the smell of sugar mixed with fresh lemons! It just a really wonderful blend of tart and sweet! My fiance teases me that it smells like Pledge, but he likes it. It IS unapologetically "lemony" but I don't think it smells like Pledge at ALL because it's not a "chemical" smell... in fact it smells so natural that I'd have to guess that all or most of the ingredients are natural essential oils, not synthetic fragrance. Luv that it smells so organic, not "perfumy." I wear it both day and night, year round, and get compliments on it constantly. I wouldn't change a thing about it, except that I wish it lasted longer on the skin. But it fades out beautifully, becoming less lemony and warmer (something like a sugary vanilla caramel that is not cloying in the least). If Fresh would make a "blood orange" version of this fragrance, that would be my HG, but meanwhile, this is pretty perfect for me! I much prefer this to all the other Fresh perfumes, including the Lemon version, which is just TOO lemony. This is an ideal fragrance for spring and summer, and for people who typically don't like fragrance. It's pricey, but since a truly natural smelling perfume is nearly impossible to find (outside of organic perfume shops), I think it's worth it!

Well, I wanted the scent of the Fresh Sugar lip treatment, and this is it. I really, really like this scent. It has been described well below. I like this much, much better than Lemon Sugar. It lasts a long time on me, too, which seems to be a common complaint (lack of lasting power). I wore it yesterday, sprayed it in the morning, and could still smell it last night when I went to bed, while lying in bed. I think it is a unique scent, and while I really like it, it's not my favorite lemon fragrance (that is Pacifica Malibu Lemon Blossom), but it is different and pretty enough that I'm glad to have it and would likely repurchase for the times when I just need to have this scent. Wish it came in a rollerball, though, because I dislike spending $32 for a tiny bottle. Got this one with a Sephora GC, would have a hard time spending my own $$ on it.

I received a bottle of this in a swap and have enjoyed wearing it all summer. No, it's not outstanding or complex, but I don't want to think when it's really hot outside. Sugar is light, lemony & pretty. It's suitable for every age and can be worn in lots of places where a heavy scent would be overpowering. Smells like lemonade.

I don't understand why anyone would want to smell EXACTLY like Lemon Pledge furniture polish! Glad I was given a sample from Sephora and didn't actually buy this or anything!

** UPDATE Its too artificial/chemically smelling. I don't like it.
This review should really be for the Brown Sugar EDP which is what I'm wearing, but they're pretty close. I bought this scent hoping for a dupe for L'Occitane's Honey Lemon perfume (my holy grail, and the only perfume I've re-purchased three times!) This doesn't really come close to the L'Occitane version which has a similar lemony opening and a sweet yummy caramelly dry down. L'Occitane's was much better blended and left your skin truly "cookie-smelling" in the dry down. This, has a soapy, shampooey scent once it dries. Its refreshing, but I'm missing that rich warm sweetness I was hoping for. Also, it lasts about 20 minutes

I hate the boring, cheap packaging of this product. The scent itself is amazing. It starts off very lemony, then becomes a light sugary-vanilla scent with the barest hint of lemon and darker caramel. Perfect for hot weather. Much better than the Lemon Sugar scent from Fresh. One of the few sugary scents that is not over the top, sickly sweet or artificial.

This is a nice scent but my complaint is that for the expensive price it does not last long at all. I can spray a lot on all over and within less than 2 hours I can no longer smell it. I am used to using La Vanilla fragrance (my favorite) and it is less expensive and longer lasting. Right now I am mixing the 2 together to try and make the Fresh last longer!

I always thought I liked Fresh Sugar, but today I am not so sure. I got a sample spray vial from somewhere, and I put it in the little crystal candy dish on my dresser, where all my sample vials reside. Lately I have been more into using these little babies up, so I grabbed this one and sprayed away. Lovely in the beginning. I adore lemon scents, especially cakey vanilla lemon. But when this dried down, something changed. It became more herbal and green on me, which I don't think I like. The citrus turned a little bitter. This does not smell like what I remember Sugar to smell like. I don't think I like this anymore and will not be buying a full size.

OMG, I cannot stand this stuff! I may as well spray Lemon Pledge or Endust on myself; when I put it on I smell like I've been hanging out in a janitorial supply closet testing the cleaning supplies on myself. This stuff is not "iconic" as the Fresh website claims; IT STINKS!

I love this perfume, I also have sugar bloosom which I like very much. I came across it in Sephora and really like the whole line. It's more of a summer scent, It smells a little bit like lemonade, it is sweet and citrusy and clean at the same. It is a simple fragrance, but it is nicely made, I even use it on my kids. This is for people who don't want to smell like they are wearing perfume, but still want to smell good. Perhaps if it's layer with the body lotion, it would last longer.

This is my Holy Grail of perfumes. I found it 6 years ago in Jenners of Edinburgh and saved it to use as my wedding perfume in October 2004. Almost 5 years later and it's next-to impossible to buy in Europe and I've had to resort to begging and pleading to get more.
So - if any of you lovely MUA ladies have it & don't want it, please think of me & let's arrange a swap!!!

I love the initial burst of lemon that's a bit sharp, but nothing like the astringent Lemon Sugar. This is another Fresh fragrance that sparkles, like sugared meyer lemons plunked in fizzy water, before settling down into the gorgeous vanilla/musk/spice already described by reviewers. In the early stages, it does very vaguely remind me of a natural tea tree bug spray by Thursday Plantation, but that was quite a pleasant scent for a bug spray. :)

This is my "go to" daytime fragrance!
Its perfect for winter or summer. I love it for my daytime because when you first put it on you have a light refresher of that lemon top!
As your day goes on and gets started after that first instant burst of freshness you get a sense of warth. Its vanilla and caramel base keeps you comfortable and relaxed. Vanilla is a true comfort smell. I've recieved so many compliments on my scent! I layer it with the sugar body oil which carries a little more of the citrus scent throughout the day.
At night and for special occasions I like to Layer it with something that carries a more oriental or spice note (SAKE is a great one!).
Anyone who needs a like fragrance that still wears well throughout the day this is a good one to try!

This is one of my favorite fragrances. I've been wearing it for about 8 years, since it came in a much smaller bottle. It used to be more concentrated, which I preferred. The larger bottle it now comes in contains a weaker formula. Regardless, I still love it and this is practically my daily fragrance. Why? It is truly unique. It is very difficult to determine exactly what it smells like. It's sweet, but sharp, but spicy, but warm, but light, with citrus, carmel, vanilla, white flowers and spices all at different times. Another wonderful thing about this scent, and all Fresh fragrances is that they do not make me sick. Most commercial scents do. Love this, will buy over and over again.

A wonderfully unique fragrance; to me, it smells like lemon meringue pie. It's not sicky-sweet, either, which is good. This is my "go-to" fragrance, since it's such a unique scent and not too heavy to wear in the summertime.

This fragrance comes off quite sharp in the top notes, the lemon has a real bitterness, which isn't what I was looking for. I would have preferred this as a lots of sugar, little lemon fragrance, instead of lots of lemon and a little sugar. I can only imagine what the lemon one must be like ...
Anyhow, yes, it's more like bitter than sour, it makes me think of lemon zest (the peel, grated) rather than lemonade (which was maybe what I would have liked to smell).
After around 45 minutes of wear, some of the bitterness leaves, and I like the fragrance better, but overall it was a bit disappointing. Still, it has some nice notes, and I can enjoy wearing it for what it is ... so a 3 lipstick rating from me.
You know what's funny? I think this smells better as a deodorant (HG!) than as a perfume. So I'll keep buying that instead.

Fresh Sugar should have been lemon sugar. It reminds me of fresh squeeze of lemon on a pancake sprinkled with sugar.
Its like pink sugar without vanilla and the berries scent. I actually prefer fresh sugar and can imagine wearing this in the hot weather. Lasts well for a lemon scent. I also like L'Occitaine's Lemon Verbena which smells like lemon barley sweets - unfortunately this doesn't last long.

I really love this scent, especially for the summer, I guess with lemons you can't go wrong. I will say this it does not stay, no compliments, no catching whiff during the da etc. I really wished it stayed longer. For my personal enjoyment I will buy again, but if I want a "be noticed "fragrance this is not it.

I purchased this on a whim because I love the scent of the Fresh sugar lip treatment so much. At first when you spray it on, it is wonderful. Then the lemon fades away and I'm left with something that's a little on the sickly-sweet side. And then, an hour later, the scent is GONE. It just fades to nothing. Fresh is so expensive, I would expect the scent to last longer. I do love that it is packaged with a screw on-cap, so it travels well if I'm going anywhere on an airplane. I wear this only in the day, when I'd rather be scentless (when the smell disappears) than overpoweringly perfumy.

I have worn this perfume for years. I work in surgery, and "present myself" to other folks early in the morning. I am freshly showered, and perfumed. I smell clean, squeaky clean in the first hour or two, and then this bright, clean, lemony, fresh and young smell changes to a sweeter lemon-vanilla. I get lots of hugs all day long, and folks, both men and women, always comment on how fresh and clean I smell. Everyone asks me what I'm wearing.
I love how I smell, and so do others. It's my favorite "all day" perfume.
