before using aha it was really gentle for my sensitive skin but I dont know it dried or not.but after aha or less moisturizing it really may have dried my face or lancome's clay mask which I cant guess.granules are perfect but

This is my HG scrub! I've been using it for years. I love its gel texture and fine, efficient, and gentle scrubbing spheres. It foams up a little and doesn't leave any residue like many scrubs I've tried. I don't use it everyday or to remove makeup. I recommend a separate cleanser for makeup removal. This scrub will leave your skin soft, smooth, and refined. Give this a try you won't be disappointed

A good product that scrubs gently and has a nice scent. The beads are small and you won't overscrub, and it leaves you with soft skin. I feel refreshed after using this, but it's not wow enough to make me repurchase it as I can find something similar in the drugstore.

This is my favorite scrub of all time. My only complaints would be the price and the size( I wish it were a little bigger) but with that being said I still keep buying this stuff because I have yet to find something as gentle and as effective as this. My skin can get these weird dry patches and this really helps. Its gentle enough to use everyday. I use it every morning to help combat flakies from 1% obagi tretioin cream. After using this my face glows and smooth, and my makeup applies like a dream.

It clarifies very well but my skin feels a little tight after use. I think its a good product for those who need a proper cleanser to dissolve heavy make up.
Though its expensive I might consider buying again.

According to my experience, this is just an ok scrub. During the first few time uses, it gave me nice result with smaller pores on nose, and the white heads around my nose area were reduced. Unfortunately the effectiveness of the scrub changed after 2 months. It doesn't make my pores smaller, nor reducing my comedones (white heads) anymore. I don't know why it happened like this, but I will continue to use this until finishing the whole tube. I definitely won't repurchase this again because this is kind of pricey with it's result!!

This product is okay. For the price I expected more. It doesn't really do much, I haven't noticed any change really. Won't purchase again, you can get just as good for a lesser price for sure.

Excellent scrub for my breakout-prone, yet sensitive skin. The particles are medium size, but not too harsh on the skin--big enough to exfoliate well. Has a nice scent too, and good ingredients. Wish it lathered though--then I wouldn't have to use a separate cleanser.

I am always on the hunt for a good exfoliator that gives my face a fresh, smooth, flake free glow...I have been experimenting with many different scrubs for months (Clinique, Dr Brandt, Chanel) and NONE have given me the results this has... The previous exfoliators I have tried always left me still wanting something else, as they were either too harsh, too irritating, too greasy, too expensive, or simply not that effective....I have used this in the past and liked it, but got disgusted with the big hole at the bottom and sorta wrote it off, however found myself remembering how fresh I felt whenever I would use this stuff. I decided I'd give it another try, and it may just be my imagination, but I really think they have re-constructed the hole at the bottom to a slightly smaller size as I am not losing product like before. I am constantly batteling flakes by my nose and and can go rather dull in the cheeks if I don't exfolaite well. Let me just tell you, this is the first time in a long while that I have NO flakes by my nose. While I do realize that the results are only temporary and will need to use this on a regular basis, I am so happy with the outcome...My husband even commented that my face looked very healthy and clean and "different" today. I am happy for the price because I see results and for me that's worth every penny ..Although I don't care for overly fragranced skincare products, this has a lovely, fresh, citrusy scent...Clean and smooth...Love it....For the record I have realtively normal-combo skin, with only slight T- zone oil and slight dryness in cheeks...More on the normal side though...

Not my HG scrub, but nice. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, doesn't make any spots worse, nor does it cause breakouts. Gentle exfoliation, but effective. Fresh smell. Lasts ages. Doesn't make me go wow, but a nice facial scrub.

okay, i've been reading mua for a while but this product inspired my first review. i'm in nyc for school but i went home this past winter break and didn't bring any of my usual face care. so i borrowed this product from my mom and wow, it worked wonders on me. my face was noticeable smoother and softer after a couple days of use. like a newborn baby! being back in nyc for a week now, my skin has gone back to being rougher, this may be due to the harsher weather here or water quality, but i'm going out this week to buy this product and i'll let you know!

pretty good scrub, for sure on the more gentle scale of the scrub spectrum, but still lovely. has not broken me out (so far!) works well in conjunction with the mask and tonique doceur. Although i would have to say they could definitely improve upon the packaging... and if you were on a tighter budget you probably could find ds scrubs that would measure up just as well.

This refreshing gel is gentle on the skin because it has ultra-fine exfoliating grains.

It really leaves the skin clean and smooth! But it doesn't have those wow effect.

But the good thing is, the tube can last a long time!

Average performing peeling. Will not be likely to irritate or get you to break out. It's gentle and not very effective, I think you get this from any budget brand out there, so no need to spend this much on a very odrinary scrub. Smells great. Makes skin soft. No miracles beyond that. Will not buy again.

I've been using this scrub for about 1 year. It's 100ml, but quite enough for using in about 8 months, twice a week. This is my HG scrub, I've just bought another backup and received it today.
Every time my skin is flaky or filled with nose blackheads, I head to my beloved Exfoliance Clarte (before or after using my Mousse Clarte cleanser). The result is a smoooth face without greasy feeling (like any other scrubs I've tried so far, Neutrogena, Nivea, Aveeno, to name a few). It has white balls which have cleansing effects and disappear with water after a while, and blue beads which act as exfoliating/massaging medium.
In the ingredients, I saw it contains salicylic acid, pineapple extract, papaya extract and wheat wheat amino acid, which can somehow improve ance-prone skin, moisture, as well as anti-age.
For people complaining that the hole is too big, I don't think so. It needs to be at that size in order to let the scrubs out without stucking there after a while. My trick is not to store the tube stand up, please store it LIE DOWN horizontally. When you use it, don't hold it vertically upside down. It containts 3.4 ounce of liquid-like product, of course it will spill like hell out of the tube (well yeah, gravity physicsyyy thingyyy).
Overall, I like it so much, yet I'll still be in quest for a scrub that can cure nose blackheads, may be some potent AHA scrub. (tried Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating scrub, what a waste of my money, to my opinion).

I think it's quite good, but the stuff comes out quick and you'll only need a tiiiiiny bit.

For me this is the most luxurious facial scrub I've ever used! I like that it's not harsh and "scratchy" like most other scrubs, but you can still feel it sloughing away all the dead skin. Smells nice too. Still I would only buy this again if I had money to burn, as facial scrubs are not a major part of my skincare routine. If they are for you, then I would definitely recommend that you try this product!

I think it's a bit harsh on the skin and my face can look a bit ruddy after use. Notice white little bumps sometimes after use. Ok to use once in a long while.
