I like this body butter. It is very rich and moisturizing. The scent I chose(Summer Strawberries) is a HUGE miss! It doesn't smell like strawberries at all. It smelled familiar and for the life of me I couldn't place it. Now I remember, it smells just like Glade Neutra Air air freshener. My friend uses it in his apt. and I can't stand the scent. I suppose to some it might smell "fresh" but it's not my style and it doesn't smell like berries. Maybe in a different scent I would like this better.

I got this in Sandalwood Vanilla and it is just delightful! Wonderful, subtle fragrance and the butter is simply scrumptious. Moisturising without any greasuness and feels super soft. This is a fantastic product.. a real find!

This product wasn't very moisturizing on me, unless I used a lot of it. It did leave my skin somewhat soft and the scent lingered. The packaging isn't anything special. I think you get good for what you pay. I probably wouldn't buy again, but I'd probably swap.

I received a small pot of this stuff in a swap, and I have to say, I am totally obessesed with it. The scent is "coffee cake", and I swear to god, it smells exactly like the name! A moist yellow cake tunneled through with cinnamon sugar and topped with a nutty cinnamon sugar crumb topping --it is literally an effort to stop myself from tasting it every time I walk by the bathroom. It is very thick and rich, probably better for knees and elbows, or in weather where your skin is super dry. Really great stuff!

Great thick cream, perfect for feet or elbows. A bit to thick to rub into my arms or legs, but I'll manage. I ordered in Red Velvet Cake but the scent smells nothing like a sample of Red velvet cake from CS had. Majorly upset about that.

These are wonderful, very rich, moisturizing, and the ingredients are awesome. I have this butter in Hadrien, A Perfect Day, Violet, and a custom EO blend of Patchouli & Vetiver. I love ALL of these and have ended up wanting and ordering other products (roll ons, spray, powder, etc.) in these scents. The prices are very reasonable also, and Anji is one of the only e-tailers I have found who offers more than 1 size in her butter, so if you love a scent you can order larger sizes for a good price.

There are wonderful butters! They sink right into the skin without feeling greasy and moisturize all day. Cottage Shoppe makes excellent citrus scents...very happy with this product and would definitely buy again!

Cottage Shoppe body butters are my absolute favorite. They are super moisturizing, absorb quickly and the scents last a long time. They are especially great in the winter time when my skin is a lot drier. My favorite scents are Mandarin/Vanilla, Lemon Sugar, Orange Sugar, 7up, Vanilla & Sexy Graffiti. I find that all of her scents are true to their name and don't turn once on the skin.
Also, her CS is the best out there.

Luverly! Thick and pure white. Takes a little effort to massage it in, but it's worth it, as it's very moisturising, yet not greasy - great for all seasons! I've got it in the Escada Sexy Graffiti type, a perfumey and fresh strawberry, pineapple musk...touch coconutty too. It does remind me of Sexy Graffiti, though not as fruity strawberry and rounded. Still, it's lovely!

my order just arrived todaybut this was after 6 weeks of waiting. my shipment was lost in space, and i finally got my order! anji is a sweetie!
i have four 4 oz. body butters in: gardenia, buttermint, jasmine and green tea and toasted marshmellow.
the first three are beautiful. the gardenia is not too heady, and smell fresh and lovely. the buttermint is sweet,rich, buttery and minty without being too foody smelling. the jasmine & green tea is not too floral, and just gorgeous. these three fragrances are highly recommended. however, the fragrances smell better in the body butters than in the shower gel/cream formulations. something about the body butter makes the fragrances less plasticky, and lovely on the body!
i am not crazy about the marshmallow one, but am not a huge fan of vanilla.
these body butters are rich, emmolient, thick and non greasy. i will definitely be buying these again!

BLUEBERRY MUFFIN-
OMG!!! I am in love with this! The body butter is awesome, great texture & moisturizes well. But this Blueberry Muffin scent is to die for. The best blueberry scent I have ever come accross! I am in love with this scent. Delicious!!!

Love the formula of the Cottage Shoppe. Moisturizes without being greasy or oily. I received a shipment of 5 body butters today.
1. Dreamsicle- Smells like Orange sherbet. I like it.
2. Gingerbread man- smells strange in the tub, but good on me.
3. Strawberry Shortcake- Ok scent- but, not for me.
Buttermilk Pancakes- Smells like Flowers
5. Sugar Cookie- Smells kinda funny in the tub, but once you put it on it drys down to an awesome sugar cookie smell.
I think it is a great line and I just put in a huge order!

I just bought a ton of the CS's body butters - they are amazing! I love their incredibly unique fragrance selection. So far, my favorites include Italian Cream Cake, Hershey's Chocolate, Pumpkin Pie, and Cappuccino Brulee!

I got three scents: Vanilla, Fresh Peach and Creme Brulee. I really like these body butters. They just sink right into my skin. Vanilla-smells like a nice foody vanilla. Fresh Peach-yum! Very peachy. An good alternative to Origins A Perfect World Body Creme if you like the peachness of it, Origins is much more ummm, greasy and too expensive. Creme Brulee is a very very sweet caramel. I personally like it but I can see (smell) how some people wouldn't like it. Even though I like the smell- it happens to be way to sweet for me to use. Overall, I think these body butters are very good. I will buy again. Something I barely ever do with bath and body stuff. I am very fickle most of the time. I think the prices are fair and the scent selection is excellant. You are bound to find something to tickle your fancy!!!
I just got Blackberry Vanilla. At first I liked the scent. Now, I am unsure. It does kinda smell like Play-Doh. I don't know why. I can smell berry and vanilla though.

I swear, this is the most vibrant, clean smelling 7 UP scent EVER! I got it in the shower gel and the body butter, and I'm thrilled. It's going to be a morning (and especially summer!) scent for me. Love, love, LOVE Cottage Shoppe!

Really nice product...especially for the price. I got it in the ginger essential oil scent. I didn't realize I would end up smelling like sushi...but the texture of the product is great.

I just got the body butter in Strawberry Shortcake, and I'm very impressed! This is a very nourishing cream, and only a little is needed. Thank god, you only get a 4oz! The price is way lower than most, and this particular scent is heavenly. I tried the Body Bakery's Strawberry body butter, and it came out very synthetic. CC has a very nice real strawberry scent to it, with underlayers of a faint perfume. I will be buying this again, and recommend it to anyone.

Eh... this body butter was so-so. It does moisturize, but it leaves a greasy film on my skin! I ordered this in chocolate and while it smelled good in the tub, the drydown is a funky plasticy smell... just plain stinky. It actually ended up giving my a headache. I really doubt I'll be repurchasing.
