Age: 30-35   Skin: Dry, Fair, Warm   Hair: Brown, Wavy, Coarse   Eyes: Brown

I have been using this shampoo in combination with the cherry almond bark conditioner. I find that both are just as good as their Aveda counterparts. I have auburn hair and this shampoo seems to add nice chestnut tones to my hair. It also seems to keep it a little more dark and less brassy looking. I color my hair and this seems to help my color last longer, and makes my roots less noticeable. My hair is extremely coarse and thick, and tends to be dry - and I do find this shampoo to be a tad drying. When I follow up with the cherry almond bark Aura conditioner though, and the humectant pomade for styling, I've had zero problems. My only complaint is the bottle size - Sally only carries the 1 liter bottles and I really do not use that much shampoo! I have to buy 4-5 bottles of conditioner to 1 bottle of shampoo. This product, along with much of the Aura line, has been discontinued, so I guess I'll be using something else when my supply runs out.

I liked the scent of this product but I had to use quite a bit of shampoo because it didn't lather well. I have dry/damaged hair and It made my hair dry and felt stripped. I won't be repurchase it.

I really like this stuff. It smells delish and has added some color back to my ends (which tend to lose color since I used to highlight my hair blond.) It feels great and smells great, what's not to love?

This is nearly identical to the Aveda version, same smell, same consistency, and look. Is just as good in my opinion and is great for adding hightlights to brunette hair.

I guess I bought this shampoo to do something unreal. I wanted to even out the growing out process between med brown and a redish brown. It worked nice though. Didn't do what I wanted, but like I said I wanted miricle in a bottle. He he. I liked it though, and once I have one tone hair I am sure I will like it more. Love the scent!!!

I love this gentle shampoo. I used too much clarifying shampoo previously and stripped away most of the color. After using this shampoo, my hair color turned from bright yellow to a dark, healthier brown.

This shampoo doesn't seem to deposit color at all. It only seems to dry out my hair and leave it stripped. I'm using this up as a body wash. Big thumbs down for Aura products thus far...

If you love Aveda and don't want to shell out the dough for it, try this. It smells identical to the Aveda version and works just as well to highlight brunette hair. A pretty good product for the $.

Nice clove smell. Makes hair squeeky clean without stripping the color. In fact, it seems to sustain the darker tint longer.

I love the smell of this shampoo. I am not sure if it does much for hair color but my hair smells nice and is clean.
