I was on the market for a new serum several months ago and after reading MUA reviews I have decided to give Jurlique's one a try. At first I was a bit sceptical - it was very expensive (£45 for 30 ml in Space NK), smelled with rose (luckily very faintly as I hate the rose fragrance), it was not hydrating enough in comparison with a previous serum I was using - all in all I was worried that it was a waste of money.

It took me about two weeks to see the difference in my skin: for a start I did not get a single blemish at *this time of a month*, my pores were less visible, I was able to put less makeup tan usual to even out my skin tone. It took me about 3 months of everyday, morning use to finish off the bottle.

I did not see any visible difference in firmness of my skin or in a wrinkle that seems to be getting more and more prominent between my eyebrows. However overall good condition of my skin makes me think about repurchasing it in the Spring again - I might need something more rich and hydrating in the colder months of the year.

Im really not sure if I'd buy this again. Actually to be honest I didnt buy it the first time, I got it as a gift w purchase on the jurlique website (that website really does give fantastic gifts I must say!!). It was a pretty big sample bottle, and I was super excited to try it.
First off--the packaging is so cute. I love it. I just am a sucker for classy/elegant packaging. Its like a glass/plasticky (I know, I cant even tell the diff between heavy plastic and real glass, what a loser I am), but its a nice semi heavy bottle that has a frosted look and that typical plants, calm herbally looking pictures on it. haha. I like the clear top, with the little cutout for the pump (never seen that before, how neat). The pump makes it clean and hygeinic. You can see how much is left in the frosted bottle, even more fantastic. All good news.
My skin basically has multiple personality disorder. Its oily, its dry, its sensitive. It has pink areas, it has yellow areas. It has large pores in some areas. I know, a real winner. ugh. So I'm always looking for some sort of miracle product that'll do wonders. Things that have worked in the past/been added to my rotating HG nightttime routine include the Korres wild rose serum, Boscia willow bark, retin A from my derm, Kiehls midnight recovery. Sometimes nothing works honestly and my skin just throws a tantrum. Such a night was it when my sample arrived and I tried it Jurlique.
Worked pretty well the first few days. Its a thin sticky serum that goes on a little tacky but dries down very nicely without any stickiness, thickness/greasiness or feelings of dryness on my skin at least. Melts in pretty quickly. Did not give me new pimples milia or reactions, however it didnt exactly calm down my insane skin at the time either. Shrug.
Ive now been using this for about a month and just finished out my sample, using it about every second or third night. Its okay. Dont see any miracle changes to my skin. Maybe a little overall pinkness reduciton, but no changes in pore size, oiliness, reducing breakouts, or even just glowiness. I feel like it may also not be moisturizing enough in winter when my combination skin tends to get drier.
I did like the feel of this a lot, and its ingredients, which makes me sad to give it a less than ideal rating. Excellent packaging.
Two things I dont like about this: the price (barf! who thought that was a reasonable price?) and the smell (normally I love lightly scented glamorous skincare but this is so overwhelmingly herbal and rosy that it almost stings my eyes when the fumes get up anywhere close to my orbital bone!).
Prob wont get again though wouldnt mind a free sample again. Maybe ill revisit it again in summer.

Amazing product. Lightweight, not sticky, yet MOISTURISING. I use it in the evening, in the morning my face looks soothed, the redness is minimised, skin feels moisturised, fresh, revitalised, does not clog pores, skin looks clearer. During the winter i use it on top of balancing oil . money well spent.

I love this gel! Its a little mattifying but leaves your skin tight and refreshed. I typically don't give facial products much time to prove themselves, but this one surely did. The texture of my skin is noticeably better and it really helps with irritation. I put this on after washing and before moisturizing.

I had been wanting to try this product for ages! I finally got it in a pack at Christmas with a moisturizer and an eye cream. I had been using it for a couple of months, and it has made a big difference to my skin. The texture is nice,it absorbs quickly and smells gorgeous.I love it in the morning, after I spritz with camomile soothing mist and it smells heavenly and really wakes up my skin. It is not too heavy, and I still moisture over it before my foundation. It has really made my skin more luminous and even, and gives me a radiant glow .I love the way it makes my skin feel really fresh and alive! I have combination skin in summer, and dry in winter. I will just switch to a heavier moisturizer in winter over it to accommodate my skins needs. I tend to react to many products, but not to this...it is heavenly! I will definitely buy it again, and am looking forward to trying more of the jurlique range soon.
I am not sure I would recommend it to my friends.... I want it to be my little secret! Ha!

I quite like this product. I have skin that tends on the dry side especially in winter.

I find that in summer when it is very hot & humid this is all the moisturiser I need. It calms my skin and doesn't block up problem areas like my chin. It makes my skin feel smooth. My makeup goes on smoother over the top & I get more even coverage.

In winter this does not provide enough moisture & I usually put rose hip oil underneath first. If the weather is particularly drying I use an even heavier cream first.

Downsides: Expensive & tricky to get the last bit out of the bottle.

I'm on my second or third bottle at the moment and I'll probably repurchase. I only use Jurlique products on my face. In my experience they work well as a 'system'. I'm not sure how they'd hold up individually or mixed in with other brands/skin care regimes.

Pro: lightweight, smells nice,

Con: bad packaging (the last little bit wouldn't be pumped out), didn't do anything special to my skin, caused some dry spots on my face

Summary: neither good nor bad.

Should have known better than to sink my money into this product. I rarely write bad reviews and when I do, it must have been truly terrible for me. It never refresh the area around my eyes and it tends to irritate, causing my eyes to tear up. Next morning, my eyes would be slightly swollen n puffy. Not something that I was expecting for that price!

Lastly, the cheeks right below my eyes started to break out from a bad reaction to the product. It was not full blown pimple/acnes, but large inflamed bumps that itches. I really wished i could like and trust this brand but after this experience, I highly doubt i would wanna try any of their products in future.

Very expensive and I am yet to believe this is some sort of miracle cure. Though my skin feels slightly refreshed I don't believe it has helped my pimples at all and would not purchase again.

I was looking forward to using this product after a Sephora SA convinced me to buy it for anti-aging benefits. After using it for about a week my skin felt tighter but very dry, especially around my cheeks. I used it with the Jurlique balancing day cream and broke out badly around my chin. I cleared up after a couple days but ended up returning this product as well as the day cream.

I don't know what I think about this product. I got it as a GWP and I quite like it - it feels nice and the idea that I'm improving my skin rather than just caring for it is also nice. But I haven't actually noticed a difference and the price is phenomenal. I plan to test this by only applying it to one side of my face for a week or two and see if it makes a difference, I'll update this once I do!

Firstly, the price is ok if you get from online store, remeber it is 100ml bottle.
Second, it really does good hydrating, I've got combination skin, use it with my normal moistruser in winter will feel comfortable. The gel texture is pretty good for my age, 25-35, if you want to protect your light mature skin, I satisfy with it.

I apply this as a night moisturizer, as my skin is oily and I also apply rosehip oil afterwards so it's okay. But I'd say if your skin is dry, this might be too drying without moisturizer. So make sure to moisturizer your skin afterwards. It contains lactic acid, which provides mild exfoliation, so I think that's the thing that "recovers" your skin. Lactic acid is normally very gentle, so it did not break me out. I really like using this, but it's too expensive to buy it again and I am sure there are better products out there. I really love the smell, though.
I might repurchase after a while, but it's not like a must item in my skincare.

I got this in a little 15ml bottle that came in a pack and i haven't used it much at all. It's not that it's bad, i'm just personally not a large user of serums (which is what the shopkeeper described it as). Though when summer hits, i think it'd be really nice and refreshing so i'll probably start using it alot in the summer!

The smell also isn't very appealing. Personally it's a little too herbal for me but some of friends say that they like it so i guess smell is more of a personal preference.

I love the texture. I used it when I got sunburnt and my skin actually felt ok the next day, usually I take about one week to recover. I love the minimalist packaging too. But it's so expensive!!! Plus there are only four Jurlique counters (and 2 day spas) in my country so it's rather troublesome.

Amazing product! Lovely texture, nice smell and wonderful botanical ingredients. My sensitized skin likes it am and pm. Even though it is not brightening (it is not supposed to be) it makes wonders to the overall skin tone - very calming and easily combats oiliness. Get it.

This product is more like a serum designed to go under a moisturiser, its not enough on its own particularly if you have a dry skin. The consultant also explained to me that it is an antioxidant boost for the skin, im 26 and have been using it for 3 weeks and my skin has never felt better! I guess it also helps that all of the ingredients are farmed biodynamically which is even better than organic. Great product!

I really liked it, because I stored it in the fridge, and when I woke up to a hot summers morning, it was the most refreshing thing on my face. But, I found that if you had senstive skin, it really stung, if you apply right before moisturiser, and then the moisturiser would be lie a comforter. It was really watery, and all you needed was one pump from the glass pump, and it got all over your face. You could get two pumps, but, it would have been a it too much for me. I found that the gel was WAY too expensive, because it costed me about 80 dollars. The website says that it was suppose to be for firming wrinkles, and was antiageing, which I must say, was true. It did tighten, and if you had dry skin, it might have felt really good when you apply, but afterwards, your skin would be craving for something cool and wet, with a similiar texture to it. And if it doesn't get what it wants, it'll crackle, if you have extremely dry skin.
So, the Pros and Cons:
Pros: The antiageing, firmness, the nice cooling feeling, need only a small amount, the texture - watery gel like. Packaging - a nice firm glass with pump.
Cons: The price. Dry skin users, beware! It makes you want to use more and more, and if you don't it might crackle your skin.
Overall, it was a good product, especially if you have wrinkles, and I would invest in it for a antiaging firming gel, but it is quite expensive.

Wouldn't buy again. Because I don't know if it did contribute to my clogged pores and acne, but I didn't love it, I would be motivated to find something better out there. What it did do more that any other product I've probably ever tried is sink into my skin almost immediately leaving no residue whatsoever. Felt like food for my skin. I do like that all of the ingredients are completely natural. However, Jurlique seem to have the philosophy that anything with properties that are good for the skin all thrown together will do wanders. I think it's a bit more complex than this. Why so many oils in one product? Do they really know what they're doing? Surely a few specific ingredients for a specific known purpose is the way to do it than just throw lots of things onto the skin. Nice little fancy bottle. Distributes a timy nice little ammount. Not much is needed. I always found 1 to 2 pumps, inbetween 1 and 2 felt the right ammount
