Wonderful product, I have thin naturally wavy hair so this made the waves more defined. I would not recommend this to people with thick hair, use the curl creme instead!

Sadly, I will NO longer be buying this product now that Procter and gamble owns Fekkai! P&G tests on defenseless animals.

I actually really like this, but it could definitely be better. I have naturally slightly wavy hair and I love spraying this in the morning on damp hair, I then proceed to scrunch to hair with my hands and finish off with hairspray. It gives me a 'back from the beach" look and is really good for days I am in a total rush to get ready for work. I only gave this a 3 rating because for the price I expected a little more, it is no different to some drug store wave spray I have used in the past. I will still repurchase because it doesn't make my hair oily...

This is one of my favorite products, although it is too expensive for my wallet. It contains 'cones and sea salt, so my fine hair is both frizz-free and texturized. Smell is divine, just light and beachy. I use it for blow outs and scrunching, and it's wonderful for both looks. Probably my favorite thing about it is how my crown looks when I use it. I have wavy hair that tends to go flat at the crown, and I shower before bed, so my hair is really prone to going flat--but not when I use this. Very consistent, very good results.

This product did add some wave to my already wavy hair, but did very little to quell the frizz, even in combination with other products. Worked best when added to almost dry hair.

This product works best for me if sprayed on to wet hair and left to dry naturally, I don't need to scrunch or add any other product. If used this way it tames and defrizzes my waves and gives me the perfect "beach wave" look.
My hair is very wavy and if left to air dry becomes frizzy and 'wild' in my sister's words. This is mostly a lightweight hairspray that kind of weighs down my hair and holds the waves together.
I dont really see how this would work for someone with straight hair because it doesnt really create waves.

I love this product!
It smells AMAZING, seriously. It gives me very nice curls when I scrunch it in along with some mousse and anti-frizz product.
the bottle is of good size, I can already tell that's it's gonna last me forever.
I believe it's a very fair price, especially for the amount you get.
it leaves my scrunched hair a little bit crunchy, but not too bad.
not as crunchy as aussine sprunch leaves it.
will definetly be buying again!

I bought this product before I looked at the reviews, so I was nervous about how it would work. I absolutely love this! I have long, layered medium textured hair--and a lot of it. There is also a LOT of wave in my hair. On days I was running late, I would end up using hairspray, scrunching it up, and going. It looked good that way, but I didn't like the crispy effect from the hairspray. The Wave Spray gives me the whole beachy-hair look, but not so much that it isn't work appropriate. Tames my slight frizzies, and can be used to refresh my hair without getting gunky, even 2nd (or 3rd, lol) day. Smells nice, and the smell dissipates so there's no perfume/hair conflict. I will buy this again in a heartbeat! I don't see how it would do anything for straight hair, so I can understand the negative reviews from folks with that hair type.

I splurged and bought this hoping that it would be able to give waves to my straight, stubborn hair. Overall, I was disappointed, but wouldn't say it was the worst product ever.

First of all, I love the smell. And even though this doesn't create the wave I desired, it still works as a lightweight hairspray/volumizer. I tried using the scrunching method suggested on the bottle, but all I managed to do was add a little bit of volume (and some tangles if I wasn't careful).

I did find a way to get some waves, in a similar way that another reviewer used. After washing my hair and letting it mostly air dry I spray this liberally all over my hair. Then I seperated my hair and made little buns all around my head (more depending on how large I wanted the wave) and let it sit. I usually tried this at night and slept with the buns because I like to shower at night. But I bet it would be more effective if left for an hour or so and then taken out.

The only problem I had with this method was that by the end of the day the waves would start to disappear. I would try to re-spray and then use the scrunch method to try to maintain the wave.

I would not repurchase, but since I still have a lot of the product, I will continue to use it and seek different ways to make it useful.

Also, while skimming the Sephora website, a reviewer of this product said that the bottle claims that it is for wavy/curly hair. Mine says straight to curly...so maybe they changed it because a lot of people with straight hair were getting unsatisfactory results.

I have thick wavy curly hair that is more on the side of wavy. This does absolutely nothing. Sprayed onto damp hair, the result is nothing. Sprayed onto dry hair, it made my dry hair soggy. Its like spraying perfumed water on your head and doesn't smell all that great either. As for doing other "steps", if it doesn't work by itself I'm not putting in the effort to style my hair into waves and curls just to spray this into it. Suave hairspray is cheap and holds my hair in waves and curls much better.

HATE this product. It was a waste of money, gave no "wave" to my hair but was successful at making it a tangled mess. No thank you! I'll spray straight salt-water on my hair before I purchase this again.

LOVE this! I just got extensions in my hair and I felt like blow drying them everyday was doing too much damage so I wanted to find something that would help my hair look good by air drying. This did the job! I towel dried my air enough to where it was just damp, sprayed this stuff all over and continued on with my day. It looks just like beachy waves but neater!

**I had to take a lippie off because now that I'm using it on my natural hair, it does NOTHING!!! But for extensions it's great...

I really, really like this spray. It gives a nice, soft wave to hair and actually works quite well. My only peeve is that the nozzle got all clogged up so I had to resort to using another one in it's place. Oh well. It's still worth it!

Silly me, I actually bought this because I thought it would bring out the very subtle wave I have in my otherwise straight asian hair. My hair does have a slight natural wave to it if I let it dry naturally and I thought this would bring out the wave even more. It basically did nothing except made my hair feel like it was coated in something. I tried using rollers on it afterwards and it doesn't really work as a setting lotion either (but then I didn't expect it to). Will not repurchase.

I was excited to try this product, because my hair has waves and curls in it (plus frizz) and I thought that I could just wash, spray, and let dry....Well, let me tell you I'm glad that I decided to do a trial run, because there is no way I would have walked outside with the final result. My hair dried as usual (gross and frizzy). I was pretty upset and decided I was going to return it when I got a chance (I got it at Sephora). This morning I decided to come on MAU and read what others thought about this product. After reading reviews, I realized it's not a good idea to spray it on wet hair. I read the suggestions to spray it on almost dry hair. I use my flat iron everyday to make my hair straight, so when I woke up my hair was still somewhat straight from yesterday. I decided to give it another try...I sprayed quite liberally on my hair, and I actually LIKED the result. To make a long story short, I think this product is going to be great for "second day hair", especially for those days that are going to be rainy/humid and your hair is not going to stay straight anyways. The smell is really nice too. I've decided I'm going to keep it....I'm glad I gave it another chance! Again, I have to emphasize that if your hair is curly, do not use it on wet hair!!!!!!!

I have basically straight hair, that maybe gets a little bit of a wave when I airdry. I've always wanted to have that beachy bedheady look, but am really lazy when it comes to styling my hair. I tried the John Frieda Beach Waves and Brunette Waves in the past, and my hair would just end up looking kind of greasy and messy. So I decided to try this, even though it's pretty expensive. I let my hair airdry without any product for about 15-20 minutes, then sprayed this on while scrunching it lightly. And yay, I looked like an extra on Lost. My hair looked like it was naturally wavy and I spent time on the beach but wasn't really dirtly looking and was still shiny. Perfect, just what I was looking for. The only thing I miss of the John Frieda stuff is the smell, this stuff smells like nothing.

I really love this stuff. I think it works GREAT on almost dry hair to define curl and make not frizzy. Now they sell it at Target and I will continue to buy!

I really like this product. I have highlighted hair that is fine, but I've got lots of it. My hair has a bit of kink in it - definitely not curly, but will not dry straight, either. This product works best if I put some biosilk in the ends, spray the roots with root lift, blow dry with fingers until about 90%, then spray this on liberally (scrunching with fingers). Smells good and I do not find it to be sticky. This will not work if you put it on soaking wet hair and let air dry. My only complaint is the packaging - the pump is flat across the top, and my finger tends to slide off or I sometimes end up spraying in the wrong directions. I wish it was indented.

I am absolutely in love with this stuff! I would give it a 10 if I could!

I have practically straight hair that might have the slightest, tiniest wave if air dried, but mostly it's just plain straight.

This product is useless to me if I just put it on my damp hair and let air dry. So, I tried putting it on my 85% dried hair, twisting up into 4 buns, and leaving the buns there for 40 minutes, while I got dressed, ate breakfast, and did my makeup.

When I took the buns out, I had waves, but wet waves. If I raked my fingers through my hair, the waves immediately came out or looked very bad.

So, instead, I tried doing the same thing, but on 95% dried hair. MIRACLE! When I took the 4 buns out, I had gorgeous, beach waves that weren't wet and gross. They were soft and defined with pretty shine and a clean smell. I worship this stuff now.

Sort of expensive, but definitely worth it.

EDIT: I tried this at night and left the buns in while I slept and I had curls that were sort of poofy, which wasn't the look I was going for, so I think I'll stick to 40 minutes in the morning.

I would like to preface this by saying that I am Asian, have naturally weird hair where it's not wavy or curly and not exactly straight, and I've always flat-ironed my hair or curled it with a curling iron. To say the least this process is annoying, and I decided to get a digital perm at a Korean salon when I went back to Los Angeles for break.

Because I'm not Korean, there was a language barrier between me and the stylist so I kind of had to figure out what to do in terms of maintenance on my own. I looked online and tried all these different ways, and my hair came out horribly when I just let it air dry and then even after putting product in it it was awful and frizzy and the curls just looked really gross.

But then I discovered the Luscious Curls set. I purchased the spray as well as the shampoo, conditioner, and cream set. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and after I towel-dried my hair, I put a dime-sized drop of cream and spread it onto my palms, and worked it through my hair. I kind of scrunched as I did this as well.

Then I used the spray and sprayed it all over my head...I was pretty generous with the spray because it seemed so light. But anyway, afterwards I scrunched like crazy, and then I blow-dryed my hair with a diffuser. The diffuser ended up being REALLY important because when I did the same exact routine without using a diffuser, my curls still came out not looking as great. But with the diffuser, I had soft, shiny, sleek, and manageable curls. I literally looked like I had curled my hair with a curling iron! And that look, I've been told numerous times by stylists, is almost impossible to get without a curling iron.

I was also outside in the rain, and even though my hair got a little wet and it was very humid outside, my hair still looked gorgeous, and I didn't have to worry about it starting to frizz up or anything. I don't really know which step of my routine did the trick--I'm pretty sure it's a combination of all the above, but I'm definitely looking forward to using the Fekkai Luscious Curls line :)

I have fine hair that is curly, with thicker curls underneath and finer curls on top and the side of my head. This product is perfect for my fine texture and curl because it gives my curls bounce and tames any frizz! It also can be refreshed with some water the day after washing to bring any flat curls back to life. I love how light it is and never makes my hair sticky or crunchy like so many other spray gels. I just purchased my 4th bottle and will buy again!
