When I first got this product I was convinced it was the best mascara in the world. My stick straight lashes were finally able to hold a curl and looked amazingly long. But a few weeks into using it my eyes developed a horrible allergic reaction to this product. I don't know whether this has anything to do with the fact that I wear contacts, but for this reason I wouldn't recommend this mascara to fellow contact lens wearers. I also noticed that after a few weeks of using this mascara the results I was getting were not as amazing as they were when the tube was brand new. Sadly I've had to stop using it because of the disgusting allergy it gave me, I'm upset that I spent so much on a mascara that I couldn't even finish. I'm staying away from high end mascaras for awhile and am currently LOVING Maybeline The Falsies :)

Very good lengthening mascara that does not clump. A tad bit expensive but its hard to get effective mascara at drugstore prices. If I had to get a luxury mascara, this would be it.

My favourite mascara!
At first this is a bit wet, but after a couple of days or so it is a dream to use. It separates my lashes very well and it gives them a great curl (even better if you use a curler). It also gives my lashes a good length and a fair amount of volume. On the other hand I am not finding this to be very buildable, but this is in my opinion not needed.
It stats on all day without scattering and is easily removed with Dermalogica Precleanse/Special Cleansing Gel.

I have just purchased it in brown. It is brighter brown then my other brown mascaras I purchased in the past. It is an "ok" mascara, however I am not hyped about it. Packaging is elegant and classy, and the brush helps with the curl. The only thing I didn't like about this mascara is that it is overly "wet" on my lashes, so after the first coat my lashes were sticking together looking like spider legs more less. I combed it and followed up with another coat, and combed it again, so eventually it looked very clean and rich. But for that price I should not be putting that much work into it. I must sadly say that I will not be re-purchasing the product.

Not a bad mascara. It is very black, gives good length/volume, holds a curl, and doesn't flake or smear. On the down side, it's very black (I prefer black/brown or brown--black is very harsh on me), I hate the wand (well, I hate curved wands in general, and the brush isn't plush enough), and it's a little difficult to get off, even with my Sonia Kashuk remover. It also irritated my eyes a bit. If you want a dramatic look, like a really black mascara, and don't mind a curved wand and/or the price, you could spend your $$$ on worse mascaras. I will not repurchase, though.

Sticks my lashes together as the gaps in between the spiral curved brush are too wide therefore not separating them. Ends up making my lashes look spindly and spikey. I like a brush that separates lashes so fanning them out. Curls ok but I can get most mascaras to do that. Original iconic is better and gives more length.
So I've had a play with it trying to find a way to make it work and I find having the curve upside down wiggling from roots helps to separate lashes..still trying to like :)
Update. .so I've grown to like it..I can use the the brush inside curve facing lashes and then turning brush so the outside curve is facing upwards..this creates the curl which stays in all day..will try with my shu curler to see if I get a bigger curl. .I have bought another one for when it runs out..it volumises lashes quicker than the original iconic.

This is the best mascara I've ever used. It's a little pricey, but it's sooo worth it. & I use mascara almost everyday, so I dont mind investing in it. It doesn't clump or smudge, lasts all day & gives me length & volume but still looks natural.

I have very sparse lashes, with gaps in between as a result of years of using a curler that would yank out the occasional lash (Young girls BEWARE --- lashes do not grow back once you've damaged the root). Add to that, my lashes are short. I have tried every mascara brand from the inexpensive to the pricey ones, and none of them have been able to make my lashes look full without being clumped full of mascara. Diorshow Iconic Overcurl #090 is the only mascara I have ever tried that makes my lashes look normal, without any gaps, with perfect curl. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge. The thickness of the mascara is good, not too runny or too dry in the tube. Application is easy -- I use 2 coats and get perfect coverage. I LOVE THIS MASCARA. I paid $35 and it's worth every penny. I have officially stopped trying to find mascara that works for me, and will only be buying this one from now on.

its expensive. I think I paid $52? for it (it annoys me how expensive make up is in Australia)
but its worth it.
I'm a high allergy person and have loads of problems with allergic reactions to mascaras and eyeshadows. I've learned to get the store people to put the mascara on me and allow me to walk around for an hour before purchasing or I will regret it.
This stuff - no allergic reactions at all. I like the look, its a natural enhancement of my eyes, it curls and enhances, its a nice shade of black. I'm going to leave the over the top extra heavy mascara looks for the young girls, but for mature women who want a mascara that looks elegant its a winner.
and I'm in love with the no allergic reaction phenomena. Now that my tube is getting towards end of life (its 4 months old but the packaging says 6month life, and at $52 I'm going to make this last as long as possible - i'm getting a little smudging, but for the first three months it did not smudge at all).

Gives good clean definition with length and curl. I was impressed that the curl held up throughout the day. That being said I still use an eyelash curler before applying, partly out of habit and partly I find it helps to open my eyes up more. Slight volume but not as dramatic as Diorshow Extase. Compared with the other Diorshow mascaras, I found the formula the least wet and therefore less likely to smudge, even after a session at the gym, which is a plus point! But I also find it less black than the others. Would I purchase this again...hmm, probably not, because even though it's a good mascara I'm not after a natural, defined look, which is what you get.
