I use it after my NARS pure radiant tinted moisturiser. It is so difficult to get the product. Only flat kabuki brush works. Neither fluffy powder brush nor round kabuki brush could get any product off. It can cover the shine and leave a healthy glow on skin. However, there's hardly any coverage of it. There's perfume in it but it doesn't last long. The packaging is good, very nice-looking and compact. The idea of having a brush inside in good, however the bush is just so bad quality. There are loads of better compact powders on the market. I won't repurchase this.

I know people are a bit disappointed with the coverage, but I bought it without expecting any so was not let down in this regard. This is expensive for a powder, but I knew what I was getting into shopping at Chanel so there shouldn't be any surprises. My foundation shade is slightly too pale for me and a little too neutral so I use this as a setting/finishing powder in a shade slightly darker and it brings warmth back to my skin. It is quite sheer so would be fairly useless if you are looking for a powder foundation. I find that this does barely anything for oil control, but my foundation still lasts longer with this compared to without. If you are very oily this won't help unless you use another powder as well. What I really like about this powder is the finish. The finish is difficult for me to describe... Soft? It also covers over pores nicely, but mine aren't too severe. Although, sometimes I do use another more oil-absorbing powder just on my T-zone just because I can get so oily there! This is a splurge purchase for sure, but I haven't found another powder with as nice as a finish... as of yet. I also love the beige packaging, which is a nice change from standard Chanel black. I think I would buy again, but I would also be attempted to switch it up and try a different Chanel powder. If I had one thing to complain about is that the powder doesn't feel soft, silky and extremely fine like the poudre universelle compacte, which I haven't tried on the face, but have swatched before and was impressed by the texture. If you want a luxury purchase that comes with it all, maybe would be wise to choose a that instead of this. I do love this though and feel a little bit of excitement whenever I use it... Which is every day :)

It was a bit "too" light for the moderate coverage I was looking for. Was also very disappointed in how hard this powder became when it was only about 1/2 finished. At a certain point I had to pretty much start "grinding" it loose to get any on the brush. Doesn't do half as good a job as similar products half the price. Ended up just throwing it away.

Colour is OK however it lasts very little on your face, after 3-4 hours is all patchy. But worst of all is that perfume, it really stinks. I wouldn't repurchase and I don't even think I will finish it...shame...

I really like this powder - even the little brush works well for me. The texture is beautiful and fine. Eyeshadow slides on great over the top of this too. Great that it's got some spf too. The color works well with my skin tone - I started with a number 25 but changed it for a number 20. The only thing I dislike about this is that it has nano particles. I will keep using it till finished but unlikely to repurchase for this reason alone.

I really like this powder I chose the shade 30 instead of 40 because i wanted to use it as a all over powder, I recommend if you are shade 4.5-4.7 in Bobbi Brown or Nc40-Nc42ish get it in 30 for a all over shade and 40 if you want to use it as a bronzer or contour powder. its a good product. doesn't cake and has a slight non offensive perfume smell hasn't broken me out I heard that it has a tendency to crack so handle with care.

I honestly bought this for the packaging. I wanted a Chanel compact mirror and found that for an additional 20 bucks could get an actual product as well. I use the No.70, the darkest shade. I don't particularly like the fragrance of the powder.Yet when I use it, its often to powder my nose or forehead when I am oily. I love that it is mattifying and light weight. It doesn't add color to my skin. I would liken this to MACs Blot Powder.

Why not 5 stars? Well, I think there should be some coverage BUT maybe I'm wrong for not giving it 5 stars since it's technically not suppose to be a coverage product. I use the No. 10,(lightest shade). This has the texture the lightest powder/foundation creamy and supple yet it's a powder. (I am not generally a Chanel wearer as I like to rotate until I find my HG of products and honestly I get bored so, I try to try it all and went through my Chanel phase over 20 years ago. That said it's still a go to line for nail polish and I always look for new item's that are truly unique and the Les Beiges line is that for me). That said.....the Les Beiges line is a bit unique IMO that this doesn't add cakiness or pile product on even after 3 layers of it, on me it still look's like nothing is there but there is a visible difference in your skin texture.....the best way I can explain it is like your skin got "blurred" but in a good way not like a fugitive on "COPS" :). It makes pores look blurred-hence smaller, it look's more supple skinned than dewy, it wears very well and holds the Les Beiges healthy glow fluid,(which I love, love-more like the best tinted moisturizer ever). I am not a big foundation gal, never have been. So, I can't tell you how it wears over anything of heavier coverage,(though I do wear it over my Lancôme waterproof concealer and it works beautifully and no cake! :), but if you use a oil based foundation it may not set well??? Powder does not like oil! So, any powder will not look good and will break apart causing patchiness. You would have to try it for yourself in that case? I hate to say this but I really LOVE the packaging...that ecru/cream whatever is different for Chanel but still they are known for it, nice to reach for really lovely, sturdy, classy. I would buy this again but I doubt I will run out since I use/need so little. Oh, and I have used the moon brush that comes with this and it work's very well I must say....I'm impressed that an included brush is this nice and sit's right inside the compact and look's gorgeous to boot! I do prefer for better application to use my bare escentuals feather light brush or bobbi brown powder brush. They also try to sell you another shade darker for contour/bronzing color but unless you really love it and want 2,(or even 3 colors some Chanel SA will push on you), then that is up to you.......but I can use the moon brush and swipe heavily on my No. 10 shade and can just sweep in the hollows of cheek or sides of nose and the product is enough that is will leave a beautiful contour.....so, I do not need another shade for that just apply the product heavier with the appropriate brush and you will get that without spending another almost $60. I do think it's a bit overpriced,(adding to the 4 stars),but I would buy it again and recommend giving it a go. Nuff said? Hoping this is helpful?

Lovely product. It is not a foundation or a pressed powder, but something completely different. It has no coverage to speak of, but it does make your skin just look and feel more healthy. I use it as a last step in my makeup routine. It just makes everything look a little bit better, and makes my foundation and blush look more natural. Great product if you love the natural look, because it is almost impossible to use too much of this stuff. Lush packaging.

I have rediscovered my love for this product and noticed that I had not yet reviewed it. I thought it important to do so as even many Chanel store artists even get this product. Of course the packaging is divine. Yes, it is a powder. It is both mattifying yet luminizing at the same time. This is nothing special though as many powders both low and high end are getting into this niche. I like to wear this product with my Amore Pacific cushion compact, by itself and with regular foundation. With the cushion compact, it just adds a little more coverage without disturbing the natural finish. Applied alone with a kabuki it is great for no fuss days. Applied over foundation, it ditches thw mask like effect, making it look more like real skin. In summer I wear shade 20 to enhance my glow in a natural way and in fall/winter I like shade 10. I am B20 in Chanel foundation, light but not extremely fair with a neutral undertone. What this powder does for me that others do not do is that it adds smoothness to my face. I have good skin but have larger pores and texture I do not like. Giselle who is the beautiful spokeswoman for this product also has some texture to her skin if you ever look at her photos sans makeup. This product does the same thing for her. I like the product a great deal and just repurchased it. It says a lot when a makeup hoarder like myself actually finishes a powder product and repurchases it.
