I have sensitive/normal to combination/acne-prone skin. For a lot of years I tought that I had to use really aggressive products (salicilyc acid, high percentage glycolic acid etc.) to cure my occasional break outs but I always ended up having unhappy skin. Recently I bought Darphin's cleansing milk which I use in the morning on dry skin, massage it in and then rinse with water. I use this along with Caudalie's vinoperfect line and Clarins Pure melt cleansing gel in the evening(really soothing as well but better for removing makeup) and my highly reactive face has never been clearer and calmier!! When I rinse it off my face is so soft and soothed- maybe it's the marvellous scent as well! I had never had a bad reaction from this.

I really wanted to get into the Darphin line, I thought it was worthwhile-I need to use cleansing milks b/c of sensitive dry skin-

I picked this up excited by the reviews on different sites-I used it and I can say it's soft on the skin but if it gets in the mouth area watch out, taste horrible-It stings the eyes also...

What was bad is that it really didn't take makeup off and then it broke me out horribly bad-I mean big bumps that hurt on my forehead! No soap has done that to me, so I am taking it back and realized Darphin is not for me-
I got some samples back in September and it they did the same thing-

This is the only thing from the Intral line that I will probably buy again. I have sensitive skin and although I don't enjoy milk cleansers that much, I love this one. It's on the thick side and has a lovely milkshake smell. It offers instant calmness to my skin even when I irritate it with some serums or creams. I just wash my face with this again, and half of the problem is solved. It leaves my face soothed and well-protected without leaving a film. The only other thing that compares to it is a two-round cleansing routine with carrot oil (wonderfully healing stuff) and then a foaming cleanser but I like having this one around for lazier days and when I want to avoid too much oil. Unfortunately Darphin products are 30% more expensive in the unfortunate piece of land where I live and this makes it a very expensive product. It would be a staple if I could find some online deals. It's partner, the Intral toner is horrendous though - it eats me alive.

I buy the salon size of this cleanser from Strawberrynet - and it easily lasts me twelve months with twice daily cleansing.
The cleanser is a nice milky cleanser that is a lovely pink in colour and a subtle scent. I use this cleanser with my clarisonic - and its a great staple cleanser that I would definitely repurchase. It cleanses well, leaves your skin feeling well moisturised, clean and not tight! I usually break out with new products, especially cleansers, but not with this one.

I love this cleaner and toner. I used it for a while and it makes my skin look wonderfull. Healthy, glowing and no irritation or spots.
Because my skin looked so good, I thought that I could swift to a cheaper cleanser. It was okay for a few weeks, but then my skin lookes less good.
I never imagined that something simple as a cleanser and toner would do anything spectacular to the skin. I always thought: it just cleans. So I buy cheap cleaners and invest in good creams. But I have to say that I was wrong. This product really does something for your skin. Now I only use the cleansing milk and toner from Darphin.
It cleans very well and it smells very good too!

I really really enjoy this cleanser. I have sensitive, combination skin with an oily and congested t-zone. Many products made for oily or combination skin irritate me and make me red, so I'm always looking for something that cleans without irritating. I use this at night with a Clarisonic and in the morning on its own. The non-foaming formula is good for the Clarisonic, and I don't like foaming cleansers anyway because they make me feel like I'm drying out my face. The smell is amazinggg and it is shocking to me that the scent doesn't irritate my skin, but it doesn't. You know when you wake up and you have that glow from your night creams and your skin looks nice, and then you wash it and that all goes away? This doesn't do that, it keep that nice glow. I follow this with the Intral toner and I feel like these products together keep my skin calm and ready for other serums/creams/sunscreen etc. This also lasts awhile, I usually get about 4 months out of a bottle. If I was particularly tight on money I probably wouldn't repurchase because it's somewhere around $40 and cleanser is the least beneficial skincare product since it's not on your skin for very long. However, as long as I'm able I will keep repurchasing this.

My skin is a mess right now. After moving from humid SIngapore climate to dry chilly New York, my skin is dry and hyper sensitive and dealing with copious amounts of breakouts. Changing my usual LaMer gel cleanser to this soothing milk cleanser made me realize that a cleanser doesn't have to be harsh to do the job. I love how comfortable the milk goes on and how soft my skin feels when it is washed off. My skin is overall much calmer now albeit still breakout prone. I am now in the process of overhauling my whole skincare regime to suit the new climate. One caveat I have for the cleansing milk is that you have to use quite a bit to spread on your face and neck or it would be too dry to work with.

This is one of the best milk cleansers I have ever used. I love the smell, smells like almond which gives you the calmness. This product cleans my skin really well and never had any breakouts.
In terms of prices, it is quite expensive compare to some other cleansing products in the market, but I'm willing to spend the money to look after my skin.
will definitely buy again.

This is such a wonderful cleanser! It is the only cleansing product I have found that does not irritate my normal to dry, rosacea-prone skin. It is moisturizing, but doesn't leave an oily mess. I use this and all of the other Darphin Intral products. It is pricey, but it works. I would like to try Clarin's cleansing milk for comparison, but I will probably continue using this product over and over.

I bought this product after reading many positive reviews in Dr. Baughman's book. It is very expensive ($50 for 200ml.) It has a nice scent, dissolves my makeup well (although I always use separate eye makeup remover.), doesn't cause outbreaks. The packaging looks old fashioned to me and not in a cool retro way. Overall, I think it is a nice cleanser. I might buy again but am not sure it is worth the money. I don't feel I am getting $50 of a wow factor from it.

I love this cleanser although it's very expensive ($50.00 to be exact). However, it cleans very well without stripping the skin. Cleans even the most stubborn mascara. Skin is left clean and soft. Great for sensitive or dry skin. Plus, it has a nice soft scent. Before using this product, I always had to use a cleansing oil to remove my mascara before using a cleanser. This Intral Cleansing Milk eliminates that first step. This should be used on dry skin.

This product is really a luxurious treat! It has a very nice vanilla scent, and removes my makeup so gently but effectively (except for eye make-up). I've combo skin and had moderate problem areas which cleared up after using some exfoliating treatments. However, my skin became sensitive and was often red and slightly dry. Shu Uemura's cleansing oil worked well to remove all make-up but caused some bumps and breakouts. Now that I've switched to this product, my skin is so soft and clean after use, and it has definitely helped to reduce my skin's sensitivity and breakouts. I will continue using this for sure.

I got a horrible rash on my face after using this cleansing milk along with using the Intral cream. It took about 2 weeks before my face returned back to its normal smoothness :(. I have sensitive dry skin and will not buy another Darphin product ever again!

Skin type - sensitive, dehydrated and combination skin.

Pros:
Great for sensitive skin. Cleans without stripping. Soothed my skin and leaves a protective layer over it. Skin feels comforted after cleansing. Lovely vanilla scent and a sweet baby pink color. Love it during rainy or cold season.

Cons:
Easily diluted, even with just damp face. Had to use alot of product, about 2-3 pumps each time.

I really like this cleanser for my sensitive skin. When I first started using it, I would wet my skin first and it really seemed to dilute it and then the cleanser was too runny and I had to use a lot of product. Now I rub it on dry skin first, then I wet my fingers and work it through again and rinse off. It leaves my skin so soft and calm.

I bought this in line with other Intra products, the soothing gel. It is a gentle milk cleanser with rather strong vanilla smell.
However, it doesn't soothe my skin after I cleanse. I have very sensitive with redness and what I find is just some mild cleansing properties.

I love this cleanser. I received a sample some time ago and was really pleased with the results and then bought the salon size through StrawberryNet which cut down the cost considerably. At first, I was concerned about the scent. I have very sensitive skin that tends to react to anything with fragrance. Happily, though, the fragrance did not aggravate my skin. Aside from the fragrance, the cleanser is mild and leaves my skin feeling cleansed and soft. In the past, I have found that the so-called gentle cleansers don't really do a thorough job of cleansing my face while the real cleansers leave my face very irritated. This, however, cleans my face without any irritation. Typically, I use the cleanser in the morning and it leaves my skin soft and supple without any of the red areas around my nose that I have gotten in the past from other cleansers. I do rinse the cleanser off with water, rather than a tissue as is suggested on the bottle, and this works well for me. I also use the cleanser when my skin is irritated or otherwise needs calming and this is the perfect cleanser.

Not my favorite cleansing milk. Yes, it is safe - completely non-irritating (it is for sensitive skin), but it is very "thin" and too watery for my tastes. Darphin is now changing its cleansing line, introducing some new products!
