One of the few products I will never move away from. I had a well defined line that went away just a short while after starting use. My eyes never look tired anymore even though I work in front of the computer. It worked wonoders for me.

Well after I start using this product my eye bags have returned, which means Sisleya was better. It is a good moisturiser for sure, but thats it. Many peope emphasize the SPF factor, but this cream alone will not be a sufficient sun filter under the intense sun of my area, so I use a suscreen on top anyway. Therefore it doesnt matter whether the cream has got SPF or not. I am goig to use it up because it was so expensive, but will not repurchase, as the perfomance does not justify the price.

I wanted an eye cream with SPF but unfortunately this one gave me runny and itchy eyes for days. Texture is nice but it seems that the Sun protection ingredient in it is way too hard -I have heard more complains from other customers at the La Prairie counter. I get on much better with the Anti-Aging eye cream which also has SPF15 and is softer to the fragile eye area.

Very expensive, like all LP products, but amazing cream! Leaves my dry under eye area very moisturised without any greasiness or oiliness. Makes my under eye area look much brighter and not so tired, even after having just a few hours sleep. Im 26 so dont need a huge help regarding anti wrinkle care or anti aging but i think this a great cream it has spf 15, is very moisturising and is actually one cream that makes a noticeable difference right away, so with benefits like these im sure it will be a great prevention cream to delay aging signs :) oh and concealer goes over beautifully, and i feel this cream really keeps it looking fresh too

This eye cream works a treat! By far the best eye cream I ever used. Really worked for my dark circles, and soften lines. Very soft, velvety product you only need tiny amounts
Extremely expensive though so I cant afford it :-(

Very very very very very good eye cream. Immediate results.

This is great for day time usage, very moist, def improves the skin around my eyes but won't grow little dots. However it is too expensive for most young girls.

An excellent cream, moisturizes plumps up fine lines, protects against the sun. It also brightens up my eye area.
The jar is lasting me for ever.. Packaging is not the best. I would rather it in a pump bottle.

this is not a magic product but a very nice, basic eye moisturizer. I've been rotating it with Sisleya and Pogres for a few years. whenever deviating from these products to try something new, fine lines will be noticeable. One lippie off for the unreasonably high price( yeah, Sisleya is even more pricier! )

The only reason i bought this product because of its superb moisturizing effects and the spf, It did not seem to have any other beneft other than the sun proctection. I put this under a good antioxidant serum under my eyes for maximum benefits. The light eye cream goes on well under concealer and help reduce the appearance of lines that sometimes concealer can create.

I've been using this for about a week in the daytime and so far so good! The cream is sikly-smooth and light, absorbs almost instantaneously (very moisturizing, which is a plus) and leaves no residue. No comment on anti-aging performance, will have to see how the cream fares over time.
Tried this alone and under LP Caviar Eye treatment, both yielded similar results.
UPDATE: This cream's performance improves over time, the longer I'm using it, the better results I see - my eye area is smoother/more matte, yet moist - would definitely recommend as a daytime E/C.

Price: $120 (estimate) CDN plus taxes per 15mL jar available at Holt Renfrew in Canada. This is an expensive eye cream, which depending on your perspective, may or may not be worth the money.

Packaging Quality: The product comes in an expensive looking silver box. Inside, placed on a felt dais, is the matte silver jar with a shiny chrome colored top. Unscrewing the top, a "tin foil" further seals in the white colored cream. Located on one side is a small cosmetic spatula with the word La Prairie embossed on it. Like all products packaged in jars, it prevents wastes of the expensive cream but at the same time, you run the risk of wasting the equally potent antioxidant in the formula by exposing it to air. Based on the packaging alone, I'm guessing there goes at least $10-$20 of the price. I would prefer to have a simpler, less luxurious packaging and add the value to lowering the price or improving it by adding a higher SPF.

Overall Rating: This is an excellent eye moisturizer. It contains a number of ingredients to help battle a plethora of eye concerns. Antioxidants C and E, Grape Seed Extracts and Coenzyme Q10 helps protect against premature aging, Vitamin K assists with brightening the eye area, and more importantly, SPF 15 shields the delicate eye area from both UVA and UVB rays. The cream is moisturizing and it sinks in quite well. As a guy, who does not enjoy spending a lot of time applying creams, this is an added bonus. SPF moisturizers are very important to me and this cream certainly earn points for its SPF content. Two negative points: The product is quite expensive. In order for SPF to work, you have to apply generously and at $120 a jar, it may deter some people from choosing this product. Secondly, the product can irritate the eyes as I've experienced when I accidentally rub my eyes later during the day. The cream texture is light and does not leave any residue behind after the initial application. Apart from the price, I would highly recommend this product.

I got this as a sample and used it every morning under makeup for a few days. I found it comfortable to wear in the morning because it's not oily and absorbs quickly - perfect as a make up base! It is also very moisturising. However, I noticed that during the day my eyes started itching and I almost cried. I don't know if it is the scent of this eye cream or some ingredient that irritates my eyes. To be sure that it's the eye cream and not something else that causes irritation, I eliminated all other products that I used in combination with this eye cream. The outcome - it turned out that the eye cream was the culprit! It's a shame, I really loved the texture of this eye cream and was on the verge of buying a full size pot. Please note that I do have sensitive eyes. So I wouldn't buy it or recommend it to persons with sensitive eyes. I also tried samples of LP Revitalizing Eye Gel, which feels OK but didn't do anything for my eyes (not moisturizing at all, but at least didn't irritate my eyes; I used it in the morning), and LP Luxe Caviar Eye Cream, which I used at night and it didn't irritate me at all so I think I'll go on a splurge and buy it.

Got this as a sample, it didn't really do anything to reduce my dark eye circles but it really firms up the eye area. It feels good knowing that it's got spf in it too, to shield delicate eye skin from the sun.

This is the smart eye cream right?

I use this every morning, quite pricey, but works. It has a very light texture, absorbs really well and provides protection for your under eye area. This is so different to the Contour eye cream, which is a waste of money. I find this very comfortable to wear in the morning. It doesnt make my eye area look oily. Its also very mosturising. Not sure if it combats wrinkles and all that, but I like it.

Expensive, but lasts well. this is purely a moisturiser for the eye area so don't expect miracles if you have fine lines or dark circles! I use another product to combat those problems!
The small pot lasts me around 7/8 months and I have been using this for abour 4 years now. I can have problems with eye creams (ezcema sufferer) but this one doesn't irritate and stops my eye lids from drying out too much.

I love this product,I used to use the eyecream from Guerlain.
This eyecream is the first LP product which I use.
I regreted to buy this product, it is too oily, and it is easy to make ur eye make-up messed up althou I use waterproof products.

It is a good product but I didn't notice a major improvment I think it's very expensive for what it offers which is mainly the SPF 15 I do prefer the Clinique one also with SPF 15 but at a fraction of the price

I like this cream, it's not too heavy for the daytime, but still moisturising. This hasn't irritated my sensitive eye area at all like other eye creams with SPF have. After a few months use I think it may even have decreased my fine lines a little (which I really wasn't expecting it to do!). It would be better if it was in a container with a pump rather than a jar. This is very expensive but I will continue to buy it as I have not found a cheaper one with sunscreen that hasn't irritated my eye area.

I bought this because I couldnt find a cheaper alternative for similar texture and performance. I think this is a good eye cream with SPF. Doesnt feel greasy and has the consistency of whipped egg white. The smell is not offending. I have tested some other brands ie Clinique and Shiseido and they smelled like sunscreen which I dont like. So far no adverse reactions after 3 months of usage.

**UPDATE** (June 30 2006) I am giving this a 5 (instead of 4) because my fine lines have diminished and the texture is just superb.

I have noticed I have tolerant skin to nearly all products. That's why I was amazed with this- it burned my eye area, and made it teary -throughout the whole day!I even called to close an appointment with my occulist cause I felt scared- once I got back home I couldn't wait to wash my face, and I noticed small red dots right under my eye area! This is so disappointing, as I thought it would be a great eye product. So, I tried it for a second time thinking maybe it wasn't caused from this product. The exact, and I mean exact thing happened again. Very upset and disappointed.
