Love this product line. I have sensitve and skin, battling acne the last 5 years. This product kills bacteria without killing your skin. Worth the price, if it works. And it does.
Shipping slow, so be patient.

After trying Proactiv, I found out that my adult acne will only react against Benzoil Peroxide (BP). Finding Proactive too expensive, I found Carley's Clear & Smooth scrub treatment, which is very affordable and I still use it until now. I decided to give Sage regimen a try last Dec.'05. I purchased their Trial Pack (Very Oily) - and I just love it! I swear, after the first use, I can feel the difference on my skin. It's a lot smoother! I ordered the Fix Zit 10% (Regular strength) and it works great! I tried Proactive xtra strength (also 10%) but it made my skin falky & dried out! (FYI, my skin is very very very oily). But not Sage's 10% Fix Zit. I think because they put aloe vera gel in it, so this BP doesn't dry out my skin at all! Works really great for both my ugly big adult acne on my jaws & those tiny bumps on my forehead. Definitely a keeper & I will keep on buying! The down side of Sage is, the price is high, and also they charge very high shipping cost, IMO.

I have never been able to use any benzoyl peroxide products without seriously aggravating my skin until recently. I stopped using retin-a while my husband and I try to conceive and started using this instead. WOW. My skin no longer gets aggravated and it does a much better job than the retin-a ever did. My skin is essentially blemish free and has been for the three months that I've stopped the retin-a. Had I known, I would have stopped any tretinoin treatment years and years ago. This is all I need and my skin is happy and clear rather than red and flakey.

I've used Sage products for the past 3 years. My skin is acne prone and oily. Since I started using Sage, I don't get those enormous pimples that linger for weeks. New blemishes disappear in a few days after using Fix Zit 10% at night.
You need to use Fix Zit regularly to prevent small bumps from developing into trouble. Sage recommends (and I agree) that it works best over moisturizer. That way your face doesn't draw up like a prune, and it prevents scaliness around blemishes.
Fix Zit is not inexpensive. A 2-oz bottle costs $10. However, it saves me time and money experimenting fruitlessly with other acne treatments, and I no longer have embarrassing acne!

I don't get zits on my face anymore but for some reason I've been getting persistent, painful cystic acne on my back. I was at a loss until I started slathering Fix Zit on my upper back every couple of days. It got rid of the acne instantly, and as long as I keep applying it every few days, my back is clear. It is very strong, but it is a nice solution that doesn't stress out your skin. Great product.

Too strong! Dried me out! :( I like the sulfur better. It is way expensive and comes in an inconvenient, messy, unsanitary open-faced pot. But if 10% BP is your style, this is some heavy duty stuff.

Very effective but gentle 10% benzoyl peroxide product. This is the best BPO product I've ever used. It dries up oil, helps unclog pores, and gets rid of blemishes without drying the heck out of my skin like harsh BPO products. Excellent when used with the 20% smoothing gel. These two products have made my skin clear and smooth.

This is the worst product I have ever tried in my life!!!! I used this cream with all of the free samples they give you. 2 days later, my face aches and burns. I can't even bear the thought of putting on makeup!!! It hurt so bad and I'll never buy this devil product again!!!!
I have normal skin but for some reason, I had a severe reaction to this cream.

This is my favorite Sage product. I use it on my T-zone and it keeps my skin clear and less oily, especially in the summer. If I am dry I backoff and just spot treat. Very effective on my combination sensitive skin. A keeper!!

I have been using Sage Fix Zit 10% for over 2 years now - and can not imagine ever being without it. I've suffered from acne since the age of 10, and am now 23 years old. For years I tried acne products by Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Oxy, Clearasil, Proactiv, etc... and none of them ever worked. Persa-Gel came the closest I believe, though it really dried out my skin. But this product from SAGE is amazing. I apply it every night before going to bed. This product keeps my skin smooth and clear - no drying out whatsoever. This product has improved my acne by atleast 90%. I had tried it on my back for a couple of months, in which it worked, but finally I quit, b/c the solution was bleaching out my clothes and sheets even though I would let it dry before letting material touch it. Amazingly, I tried a body spray acne treatment by Herbal Logix that actually worked! I was amazed since it is salicylic acid based, and that stuff has never worked for me before. In fact, salicylic acid has always made my face worse. But apparently it works for my back. Anyway - back to Sage - it's wonderful and I highly recommend it. I won't go a day without this product! **I now use the 5% solution and it works just as well for me. :)

I hate to ruin the excellent reviews of this product, but after trying it for 3 weeks I must say I'm a little disappointed. I can't say that I've seen any real improvement or difference in my skin at all. Maybe my skin is just really bad--I can see this working well as a preventative product on fairly clear skin, but on my existing breakouts this didn't do much to clear them up. I guess, try it if you want a very gentle form of benzoyl peroxide, but please don't expect any miracles!

I've been using this for maybe a week now and will never be w/out it again. I love the quick results I see. I was using Persagel 10% BP but after reading all the positive feedback here on p'ville, I HAD to try this FixZit. The Persagel has always made my skin pretty dry, but it worked, so I dealt with it. But this FixZit from Sage is actually gentle on my skin even though its the 10% BP. I'd say if you're interested in trying it, get the 2 fl.oz. bottle/$10.00 incase you ain't crazy about it. The bottle is actually quite bigger than I imagined 2 fl.oz. to be. And you only need a little to do the job. Oh- I was also sent a sample of "Old Lady cream" from Sage and I use that as a buffer under the FixZit 10% so I don't get dry or flaky skin no matter what-winter is very harsh on my skin. Big hugs to MUA for these reviews in p'ville!!!!!

i bought this wonder pimple cream after reading the reviews and it totally worked for my skin!! All my pimples, both big and small disappeared after an amazing 5 days!! the big ones died much faster though! However, i think my combo of acne prone skin products over did my skin and gave me such dry skin that i had wrinkles!! Now im stopping it for a while, while moisturizing non stop! But i will give it 5/5 for efficiency!! A must buy product. Cant wait to try all the other highly rated products!!

What a great product! I bought this about 1 month ago, and use it every other day. The days when I use it my friends actually comment on my skin and say it's looking so clear. I only get pimples a few times a month, but putting this on helps to make them disapear very quickly! (not overnight but within 2-3 days, instead of the week it would take without it). It also gives you a nice glow. I would recommend this to anyone! Thanks to the people on makeup alley for the recommendation!

This product works for me. It doesn't sting or smell bad and goes on easily from the container which dispenses nicely. I put it on zits at night with fast results.

This is a very good and effective bp lotion. It doesn't make my skin red, like most other brands do. Although, I always apply a thin layer of Old Lady Cream under it for a protective barier. It can be a little bit drying, although not that much at all. I usually apply it every other day, with the OLC under and don't get any dryness. Daily use, I do get a tiny bit dry. The 10% is much more effective than the 2.5% and 5% I tried from Sage in the past. Those two %'s did nothing!

Excellent product, and certainly better than any benzoyl peroxide product that I have tried. As with any BP product, it works best as a preventative weapon; however, be aware that it is drying to the skin. For that reason, I use it only on trouble spots.

I love this stuff. I use both 5% and 10% for area and spot treating every single night and my breakouts have subsided dramatically. Any pimple I do get either comes to a head very quickly and then dies within a day or two (where it used to take months), or it just gets zapped completely before it even has a chance to surface. It does tend to dry me out slightly when used alone...but not when I buffer with Old Lady Cream. I will definately repurchase this!
