I have Rosacea and, on my skin, afterwards my skin felt like I'd used paint stripper. OK, I'm exagerating a little bit. But, honestly, I'm not sure who this cleanser is geared for as I can't imagine this strong cleanser being good for anyone's skin.

I tried a smaller amount the second time and it was minimally better. Was glad it was only a sample!

I hate it when I fall into the rabbit hole of skincare - especially when I know better.

This reminds me of high end...shaving creme. It's that consistency.

It doesn't brighten - let's be clear - and it's actually drying. Which is odd because isn't this line for an older demographic?

Anyway, skip it. Unless you're wearing a face full of long wear make-up. Then it might be helpful. But shaving cream would work, too.

I use this product in the mornings, right when I wake up. I wet my face, put this all over, and then wipe/splash it off with warm water. It definitely brightens and un-zombifies my face as well as really cleanses and makes my skin feel clean and light.

- Brightens
- Cleanses
- Makes you look awake
- Feels amazing (whilst washing your face)
- Mattifies
- Dries your face out (I understand this is supposed to mattifies but it takes it another level. It draws all moisture out of my face)
- Expensive! (I normally don't complain about products being expensive because I believe in buying quality products but this dries my face out like some cheap acne wash from Rite-Aid)

I will finish the tube out because it does make you look great but I probably won't be repurchasing. If I do, it'll be in the Summer when my skin is oilier.

My skin is normal/acne prone, but it has no problem with dull skin or dry lines.
The cleanser calmed down my acne skin without drying me out. I still get one or two zits, but that's a huge improvement from the large cysts I'd get. While I've been using this cleanser I haven't used any products for acne.
Contrary to the name of the cleanser, this doesn't really brighten (unless causing redness counts...). I think the cleanser is pretty good at removing makeup if I take the time to rub my face properly. I wear liquid or compact cream foundation, and this is quite helpful.
If the price were lower, I will buy the cleanse again and again. With the current price, I wouldn't buy it again.

We are all smart enough to realise that no cleanser will make you brighter. This is just a really basic foaming cleanser, no frills. In comparison to others in the same brightening vein, I recommend the Origins brighter by nature cleanser and the La Roche Posay Sensi White cleanser since they are more effective at removing makeup and debris and are far nicer to use. This has no scent. It foams up well but nothing special by any means. There are many other cleansers out there that have some added benefits or other cosmetically pleasing qualities which you don't get from this. I can't really think of any situation that I would recommend this.

This is a "brightening" cleanser from Bobbi Brown in her new Extra Bright line. It is gentle and foaming, removes surface cells and cleans deep. Adequate, but nothing special.
