This product is unlike everything else in Oribe's great line. After experimenting with it in different amounts it did nothing to defrizz my hair plus it is very expensive and smells hideous. Next...

This product is exactly what it says it is--a gel/serum fusion with some gold flecks in it to spice things up a bit. I've only used this when blow-drying (as opposed to air-drying), and it's quite unique. Forget everything you know about hair gel (especially if you were around in the 80s). This one is rather thin (but not at all watery), spreads through hair easily, and gives soft, natural, but lasting hold. It really does make your hair feel as though you've used a serum or other treatment product on it--the softness is remarkable. I've also used it mixed half-and-half with the Creme for Style, and that combo gives my hair a bit more weight and frizz control but with the same softness. (I think 3/4 Styling Creme and 1/4 Gel Serum will work best for my hair.) This has the characteristic Oribe scent, which I like and find disappears when hair is dry. Yes, they're both ridiculously expensive (hence the 4-star rating), but I think the Gel Serum/Creme for Style combo could take on any length or texture of hair, make it do what you want it to, and last all day. And that's worth the price to me. I will repurchase.
