I have read the reviews and I for one love this! I have super sensitive skin and after wearing this no breakouts or trouble at all... It works for now.. Do have to be careful when apply as it does accent dry patchs and other imperfections but for me its fine.. Use shine control primer and no issues at all... So happy! Will definately buy again!!

OK, I'm not big on foundation period and try not to wear makeup unless I have to b/c my skin is so sensitive. However, I like Physician's Formula products b/c most don't irritate my skin. I bought this b/c I prefer powder over liquid so my skin can breath. I got this on sale (P.F. products can be pricey for drugstore brands) and tried it. At first I didn't like it b/c it accentuated my dry patches. I was having a never ending battle with trying to find a good sensitive skin face moisturizer. Once I found one (Boots sensitive skin hydrating moisturizer $5 at Target) I came back to this and it works so much better. Don't use the brush that comes with it its a joke. I tried 2 ways with my B.E. kabuki brush for a lighter application to minimize flaws, then tried it with a round makeup sponge for heavier application. Both ways work great just make sure your skin is moist. I use the sponge b4 I got out at night for something special and use the kabuki application for most days doing nothing in particular. I couldn't be happier. Yes, the product is bulky but I do use the mirror and most days I need to touch up once if its warm out. That being said I don't wear a lot of makeup maybe some concealer, liner and mascara and thats it and my face doesn't break out nearly as much and is less sensitive for it. Those first few weeks of going makeup free to let my skin heal was hard but it was worth it and I need less makeup in the end. Maybe not holy grail but definitly worth having in your makeup bag if you like to use powders instead of liquid. Will re-purchase when I run out.

I usually love Physican's Formula products, but I have somewhat mixed reviews about this product.
I really wanted to love it, as I read in some of the reviews and seen the videos about how great a product this is, but I felt that it just did not do well on my skin.
First, the packaging. The packaging is quite cute, and compact that I can fit it nicely in my make up bag. I hate the brush that comes with it (it applies very streaky on my skin) but that's nothing that my own powder brush can fix.
I was attracted to the concept of an all-in-one BB powder that this product offered. It didn't crumble as much as other powders do, but I found that once I applied it, it really emphasized my imperfections (fine lines, bags, etc) and made my face look too cakey, despite me putting on a thin layer, and having primer applied on my skin. I also found it made my primer "roll" as I was applying it, which was not a pretty little sight.
The price is fair compared to other products that are considered non-irritating for sensitive skin.
Sadly, this was left on the shelf.

I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how well this powder works. I'm lucky that my skin goes well with both shades (lighter one for winter and darker one for summer months). I'm asian with light yellow/olive undertoned skin. The powder provides very full coverage (so go light-handed with a kabuki brush!!). I have very oily skin with large pores in the T-zone. I applied this powder over normal moisturizer with a large round kabuki brush. My skin was instantly even and smooth even without concealer. I did use concealer under the eyes and on dark pigmented spots. After 8 hrs wearing the powder and without retouching, my skin is still dewy smooth but without all of the oiliness that usually comes with mineral powder that I'm used to. I can't tolerate liquid foundation and have not used a BB cream yet...but I'm sold on this product. As one who consumes expensive skincare products (ranging from SK-II to DHC), I have to say this product is very good and you cannot beat the price. I (and many of you on here) will never forgive SK-II for discontinuing its widely-loved Airtouch Foundation...but, for the time being, I am so happy I've found this inexpensive powder. I wish they would make it in more shades, though.

I have oily skin, so I've been passing on BB creams so far. I can't find one that is catered toward oily skin, and I don't want to buy one off the internet. Anyway, I was happy to see this product appear at CVS. When it went on sale I picked it up. Unfortunately, there are only two colors: light/med and med/dark. I'm an NC42 and the med/dark is about three shades too light for me. It also makes my skin look dried out. Honestly I don't see how they can label this a BB powder; apart from SPF 30, it's the same as a pressed powder. Instead of removing it, I layered my WnW mineral foundation over it to darken it. I think I'm going to exchange it for a regular PF bronzer.

Like some other reviews said, this concealer looked very cakey and accentuated any kind of imperfection I had. Every pimple, every bump, it made it stick out like a sore thumb. I felt like it didn't let my skin breathe. Overall, I did not like this concealer at all. It felt too heavy and made my skin look terrible.

I have been keeping my eye on this product and have been comparing prices from store to store; I finally found Physicians' Formula with a coupon and drug store discounts as well. I was extremely curious about the product, " BB Beauty Balm POWDER" and prefer this over "liquid" or "cream" BB products; I have oily T-Zone /normal skin and powder form seems to work better for me; With this being said, first impression was not too good, but, I have been giving this 2nd and 3rd chances, and to be honest. Its kinda working; This is a BB powder with claims of "smoothing, oil control, concealing, setting, long wearing, etc... " not to mention SPF 30 !!!! (ladies, we gotta protect the skin!!); First impression, too heavy; Second impression, USE LIGHTER HAND - ok, this is working;
Serious smoothing going on, yes; last all day, yes. Airbrushing effect, - yea, I can see this; For me, I use (milk of magnesia) (yes MILK OF MAG), on my T zone, let it try, buff with dry, then light hand strokes with kabuki brush and its pretty good coverage; I would give this 4 stars out of 5, as it is good, FULL coverage; I am a MAC NC30 and I purchased Medium/Deep - and seriously my color did adjust and blend very well, no neck mask and very creamy feeling powder.

This works for me as a setting/finishing powder. I have yet to try it alone, so I can't speak for it's coverage. I like that it imparts some sheen without any obvious glitter. I use it very sparingly over my favorite liquid foundtion of the day, and that does vary from day to day! I never have to do touchups, the lasting power is quite good.

Oh hail no! and I'm a PF fan generally because its made in the USA and not tested on animals, but this is horrid. I bought in Light/Medium (I'm NC/NW25-both work on me) but light/medium was still a smidgen too dark. The tone was fine and the coverage was enough to blur freckles a little, but the finish-oh wow. Now I know what I'll look like in 20 years. This made wrinkles and pores show up that I don't even have yet. It also left this weird plasticky finish. This would be great stage makeup to use to age a character-seriously. I tried this over the PF BB cream (which I like)-didn't work. Then I tried over 6 different foundations/tinted moisturizers-still didnt work. Even over a bare face it looked like crap. So, I put it in a place that it will look the best-the bottom of my trash can.

I generally like most Physician's Formula powders, so when I saw the new Beauty Balm powder, I couldn't wait to try it. I was surprised to see there were only two shades available, so I picked the lighter which was Light/Medium. The packaging is the same as other PF powders, the compact holds the powder pan which lifts up to reveal a mirror on the underside of the pan, as well a brush. The brush is flat and very thin, making it almost completely useless. I've used flat brushes like that before with some luck, but it's almost impossible to make this one work. The powder itself really didn't work for me, either. The coverage, for a pressed powder, was good. I don't wear foundation, so I look for powder with enough coverage to hide some minor acne scarring and even out my complexion, and this did a great job. Plus the staying power is great. It easily lasted 8 hours with no need for touch ups. Now onto the complaints. The color selection is terrible. Light/Medium was too dark and way too pink. It blends very well, though, so had it leaned more towards neutral I may have been able to make it work. My second complaint is the finish. If you apply too much, it will look incredibly shiny and accentuate imperfections you didn't even know you had. My skin is normal/dry, so I couldn't imagine this working for anyone with even slightly oily skin. Overall rating was a 3. I won't be repurchasing.

I first bought this in the light/medium shade. Went on fine but as it wore it lightened, Bronzed over it didn't help. Tried the medium/dark and it works.
I apply it over my dermologica primer and it wears all day.
It is cheap, doesn't break me out and gives sun protection. Will have to see how this wears as the weather gets warmer.
It is easy to remove and plop in an old Jane Iredale compact. Gets rid of the ugly packaging.

Don't waste your money. This product only comes in two shades and is not as forgiving as the bb cream. For the light/medium powder, unless you fall into a very narrow window of pale pinkish beige, it is not likely going to match your skin. Also, the finish comes off sort of cakey (compared to mineral powders) and has a slight sheen to it. I used this with the bb cream and the concealer and it looked like I was wearing a ton of makeup--which I personally don't like. Also, I'm a C4 and while the cream was a perfect match for my skin, the powder made it super light and did not match. See my review on the bb cream and concealer. Those are great products, but I think this powder needs some further product development...they need at least a few more shades, but even then, I'm not crazy about the texture or finish.

So I've been on the hunt for a powder that doesn't settle in my pores and makes my liquid foundation look too matte. This is it. After testing 6 powders over a 2 month period this has trumped those both department store and lower priced drugstore. Pros are that it is readily available, provides a smooth, healthy and natural finish, does not settle in pores and does not oxidize. Also works great at controlling oils and keeping my tzone shine-free for up to 7 hours. Cons? Not enough shades (only 2) and pretty pricey at $19 CDN. Also, my pan came out of the compact and I hadnt even opened the cardboard package yet.
This works better than the following I've tried recently:
Too Faced Primed and Poreless
Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Powder
Nars Light Reflecting Loose Powder
Palladio Loose Rice Powder
Milani multi-tasker Pressed Powder Fdtn

I'm pleasantly surprised by this product! I have freckles and some acne scarring, and this product helped "blur" both. I applied it with an Ecotools bronzer brush, and it went on smoothly and evenly. The only downside is that I am too pale for even the lightest shade...I'm putting this aside until summer to see if it's a better match then.

This product homes in a humongous white case with a useless brush. White case is cute, size is not cute. Enormous for no reason. Fortunately you can take out the pan really easily. The powder itself comes in 2 colors. I'm NC 30 and the light medium was a good match. Anyone lighter than that shouldn't use the medium dark. The tone is a little bit orange but not heavily so.
The powder itself has sheen to it, so if your skin is significantly not smooth, it will enhance the unevenness. If you apply too much because you are trying to get more coverage, it comes at a cost. The skin will have strange almost metallic orange-ish cast. Therefore, this powder is no substitute for a well-matched foundation. It is however, good for a little coverage with sunscreen, kind of like a tinted moisturizer. It's not great as a setting powder either because too little of it will diminish the SPF properties and it's not the best setting powder out there, so why bother. I dust it with a kabuki over moisturizer because of the SPF and I don't need a lot of coverage and I have almost no wrinkles or pores for it to settle into, so I voted yes to repurchase because there aren't a lot of powders with SPF out there.

I like this powder foundation BB! It has full coverage, so I had to apply with a lighter hand, compared to other powders I've tried. Medium to deep was too dark for my pale, wintry skin, so I went back and got light to medium, which is perfect. I actually like the white compact because it doesn't seem like there are many white compacts left anymore:) I got it for half off at CVS, so it was a good deal.

EDIT: This made my rosacea flare up terribly!
I am absolutely loving this product! I already bought 2 backups since I found them on sale. I love powder foundations, but sometimes they look too flat or cakey. This powder goes on beautifullly, isn't cakey at all and delivers a glowy natural finish without being shiny or sparkly. Also the packaging is cute. If you are a fan of powder foundations but don't want a totally matte finish definately check this one out!!

For as long as I can remember I've been tempted at least once a year by some new product adorably packaged by Physician's Formula, only to wind up tossing it in the trash. In the past every PF product I've tried has either performed horribly, exhibited terrible color-matches, or both. This is different. For one, I was not attracted to Super BB's packaging. In fact, at first I thought it was really tacky and gaudy. Yet, for some reason, this tacky-gaudiness stopped me in my tracks as I was en route to purchase cold medicine for my son, and it inspired me to inspect the products they housed. Two, I couldn't help but notice immediately that the Medium-Deep color of the "BB Beauty Balm Powder" looked a lot like my daydreams of the SPF powder I'd been hopelessly searching for, for years. Then I looked again at that darned packaging and...it looked kinda cute. It reminded me of junior high roller skating parties and The Bee Gees. With a name like Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Powder, surely it was singing, "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do", (or maybe it was "Muskrat Love"...it was loud in there). I don't know why this calls itself a "beauty balm", because it is definitely a powder, with a matte finish, great color, and SPF with Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide. Don't buy this thinking it's a cream to powder or a cream, because it's solid powder. This is not shiny, glittery, shimmery, or cakey. I apply it over bare skin with a powder brush, and the lasting power is impressive - several hours. This also works as a finishing and touch-up powder. I'm thrilled to have a product that has SPF, matches my skin, and doesn't leave me looking as shiny as the disco balls of fond memory. The price is amazingly inexpensive as well. Great buy!
