I love its formula! Very pigmented, opaque and comfortable wear. I have dry lips and so the best part is that I can put it on those days when my lips are super chapped (I am too lazy to scrub my lips) and Milani does its magic and my lips look perfect.

I LOVE these lipsticks. As far as true lipsticks go, they have my favorite formula of anything I've tried. I have 5 shades - 3 from the regular line, and 2 from the matte. I love and wear them all. They do have the typical Milani scent, sweet fruity vanilla which can be overpowering to some people. I can see this turning people off to these lipsticks, but personally, it only bothers me slightly during application, once it is on it does not bother me at all. The true HG status of these lipsticks for me is the wear time. I work long hours and could work my entire 10 hour day in these with minimal fading. There's also NO feathering or bleeding with these - no lip liner needed. I usually reapply these after lunch if I'm eating something more oily, but I wouldn't find that necessary. There is also minimal transfer with this formula - like whaaaaaa? I apply these pretty thinly, which I think is what makes the formula behave so well for me, and the fact that I can do that really speaks volumes towards the pigmentation of these. Additionally, I find the 2 that I own from the matte line are very hydrating and don't dry out my lips. I recommend these to everyone and everybody I've told about them loves them - pick yourself up one or two and try for yourself! Note on the packaging - drop dead gorgeous. No plastic looking tubes involved here - straight up GOLD. On the outside and the inside. :)

These are the best lipsticks in the drugstore in my opinion. the packaging is so pretty it can be easily mistaken for a higher end lippy. I own the colors teddy bare, sangria, nude creme, and violet volt. They all are creamy and glides on easily. They smell sooooo good! like watermelon jolly ranchers. Makes you wanna eat em. lol The wear time is typical for a lipstick. At least 3-5 hours without eating or drinking. But it does wear away nicely. My favorite is teddy bare because its the perfect nude lippy for darker skin tones. I really love this line of lipsticks and i will definitely be buying some more.

I absolutely love trying new lipsticks. My go-to makeup look is a neutral eye and a bold lip. I have been on the hunt for a product that is not too drying, though long lasting, with brilliant color payoff and color options.
I prefer to buy drugstore products as they are much more friendly towards my wallet. Finding a HG drugstore lipstick is quite the challenge!
However, I discovered Milani products from a beauty guru I watch on YouTube. It's no wonder I hadn't heard of them before as the only store I have found that carries them is a Walgreens (thankfully) near my house.
That same day I discovered the brand, I went out in search of them.
Since then, I have purchased maybe 5 different colors. All complimentary to my skin tone. All non-drying. All with the staying power of several hours! I would say you may need to re-apply this once during the day if you want a painted lip until you wash your face at night.
These are truly my drugstore HG lip products. As a bonus, they smell delicious as well!
Not to mention their price. I think they are between $3 and $4 a tube, which means I feel no guilt in picking up a new shade every few weeks.
Speaking of shades, the options and variety are excellent. I can easily find multiple colors for every season and occasion. I discovered these over the summer and often wore a soft, pinky-berry, a nice orangey-red, and a nude. Now it is November and I have fallen in love with their wine colored lipstick. I wear it nearly every time I go out.
All in all, I give these lippies 5 stars! Highly recommend.

I got one of these in the color Velvet Merlot, which seems to be limited edition for fall if I'm not mistaken, and I absolutely love it!
It is a gorgeous red color, it glides creamy on the lips, it doesn't bleed at all, it doesn't dry my lips out and once you apply it and let it set for five minutes it kind of turns into a matte finish type of lipstick. Love it very much!

I like these lipsticks. Not blown away, but these are very nice lipsticks.

Pros:
- gorgeous YSL cousin packaging
- smells like watermelon jolly ranchers
- not drying
- VERY pigmented
- creamy, smooth, comfortable
- 4-5 hour lasting power
- smooth application

Cons:
- not moisturizing
- strong scent (personally, I love it, though it can be overpowering)
- very few everyday wearable colors

I have the colors Nude Creme, Dulce Caramelo, Naturally Chic, Teddy Bare, Plumrose, Fruit Punch, Rose Amour, Sweet Nectar, Red Label, and Black Cherry.

I have so many because there was a point where I was obsessed with these haha. Don't get me wrong, these are good lipsticks. Great lipsticks. I just don't reach for them as often as my other ones because they aren't moisturizing and they're aren't any shades I love for everyday.

The nudes tend to be dark and the pinks to be very bright. I use these lipsticks when I want a bright, bold lip, or a deeper brown lip. Overall, I'm not a huge fan of these. I have other lipstick formulas and colors I'm much more into. Although, I do recommend Rose Amour, Sweet Nectar, and Red Label for bold lips. ;)

EDIT: I changed my 4 stars to a 5 because I was just playing around with them and found such a gorgeous, everyday berry neutral color. I mixed Nude Creme with Plumrose by putting a few swipes of Nude Creme on and then dabbing Plumrose on top. Absolutely in love with this combination.

I can't for the life of me find the matte versions of these lipsticks anywhere, but I do own #42 Rose Femme & #43 Pretty Natural. Rose Femme is super sheer but I build it up. Pretty Natural was super deceiving :( It looked like a rosey mauve but extremely pink on the lips. Peachy colors are more my preference but the texture is nice. I would only purchase the matte versions going forward but the moisturizing ones feel great on the lips!

I've only purchased "Teddy Bare 29" & "Violet Volt 34". I love that they're so smooth & creamy yet no slippery or watery feeling (if that makes any sense). Opaque too. I discovered these at my local Walmart & Lowblaws (sp?) for only $8. Violet Volt's a serious type of purple that's unusual plus a charge of color that just lasts & lasts for hrs on my lips. I usually don't purchase metallic finishes, but this one just works on my already purple-esqe / dark brwony natural lips. It's a statement but not clownish on my medium brown skinned face too. As for the Teddy Bare, well, it's the most lovely natural MLBB type color. It's also a great base for my Wet n Wild's "Just Peachy" as it dulls out the too light color of that. However, my gripe is the scent / smell. Watermelon, candy-ish, nasty stale gummy bear or something that's just over-kill! I've no problem w/ scents in general i.e. Rimmel's that have a slight scent, but this is quite strong. Sorry, but had to take a lippie off due to the smell & won't re-purchase yet gladly still use the 2 I've recently purchased. I will try the Milani Mattes tho as I've heard that they do NOT smell of Watermelon overload.

Maybe you’re just looking for a good lipstick. A middle of the road texture with normal re-application time for a good price. Sometimes the super matte lipsticks and extreme glosses lose their edge, ya know? If you’re feeling me on this, Milani’s Color Statement Lipsticks are the perfect option for you.

The security sticker will not come off from the packaging. I even soaked it in Goo-Gone. Could you just be cool for like, once, CVS??

Price. $5.49 – Thumbs up!

Pigmentation. It doesn’t take too much to get an opaque lip with these. I did notice, however, that Sangria went on a little unevenly. No such problem with the other two though. There also are tons of pretty colors in this range. I want Violet Volt and Matte Orchid now!

Wear Time. These won’t last a whole night of dinner and dancing without reapplying. If you’re not eating, they might last more than 3 hours, but be prepared to re apply within 2-3 during meals.

Texture. Similar to Maybelline’s Color Sensation lipsticks: not so creamy that it’s sliding all over your lips and not so matte that your lips feel as if they’re suffocating. These are super comfortable to wear since they’re lightweight and silky. They’re also easily mattified with some translucent powder. It takes no time at all and definitely makes a difference in your wear time.

I LOVE this brand. I have it in #62 Matte Blissful. It's a vibrant, baby pink and lasts ALL day! It does have the tendency to dry out your lips however, so keep a balm handy. The price is amazing, and I plan on buying many more shades!
