Although it was supposed to be metallic sky blue, it looked closer to metallic silver under some light source. It seemed really cool, actually.

It was really fast to dry, and it was also thin.

I changed my mind.
I tried to put on a second coat of this because I missed a corner of my nail (had one coat base coat and one coat blue rhapsody on) and it just messed everything up = =
The base and this polish just mixed into big chunk of base+polish.

I don't know where to start! So, this was your standard essie in terms of packaging (embossed glass bottle) and price ($10.) but the formula was a miracle! One coat, dried in a minute max. The color is so strut-your-stuff daring, a blue so Chrome it can seem silver. Only prob is, it chips in a day and half

Stunnng metallic sky-blue, and the formula is so good you can get away with only one coat. But I prefer to use two. And it dried super-quickly as well. No problems with application but the wear wasn't so great unfortunately. Four lippies instead of five because I found it chipped pretty easily.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous color! Fun & feminine, would definitely repurchase. This is a must-have if you like blues or metallics.

This is a medium denim blue with a mirror-like/metallic finish. I found the coverage okay with 2 coats, but you might want to go with 3. The longevity isn't the greatest, even with a topcoat. It just doesn't seem to have the depth. There was noticeable wear and chipping by the second day, even around my cuticles. I have a problem with its application too. I'm pretty quick and sure when applying polish, but the polish on one side of the nail dragged by the time I applied & blended from the middle! It dried way too fast, and definitely showed every imperfection. It didn't self-level well either. I'm afraid I can't recommend this polish for the above reasons. I know it's not fair to 'tar all Essie polishes by the same brush' so to speak, lol, but it's put me off trying any more of this brand. I put Sally Hansen Showgirl Chic glitter over this on my nail tips for a special look. Nice for a day, or if you're lucky, two.

I can't believe this polish isn't in the database, so I just had to add it. Blue rhapsody is a gorgeous metallic blue colour by essie. I am not really a fan of metallic colours because they show every ridge and imperfection in your nail but this colour is just too beautiful to not wear. It kind of reminds me of Cinderella in a way if that makes sense, just the blue of her dress, it's stunning. Like many Essie polishes it doesn't chip and you honestly only need one coat or two with this to get a fully opaque application. I would recommend this to everyone it's just beautiful.
