See by Chloe is a great Spring time frangrance, hitting notes of honey and apple, and a smidge of musky. It was sampled first in one of my Elle magazines and I instantly was drawn to it since I love citrus scents. It's a bit floral but only a bit. The scent doesn't change with your chemistry and lasts for several hours. It's a winner, in my book.

i first smelled this in a magazine insert and fell in love. I couldn't wait to buy the bottle and wear it everyday. Well...something changed when i got the perfume because it didn't smell as good. It smells like apples and honey to me, with a slight floral tinge. But it faded within a couple hours and smelled sort of off, like sour/rotting fruit/flowers.
Sadly I returned it after a few weeks of trying to make it work on me. Must be my body chemistry though, because man, on paper, this stuff smells amazing!

This is a fantastic scent. It is a medium weight perfume, not too heavy, not too light, which is perfect for everyday wear. I am in my 40's and perfume does not last on me like it did in my 30's but this one lasts in varying degree's of intensity for a good 7 hours, with lingering traces in my hair and on my wrists 9-10 hours later. This is a big deal for me as unless a perfume is so powerful it makes me ill, it's nigh impossible to find one that is gorgeous and lasts the day without being so powerful it makes me feel ill. Unlike most generic designer perfumes this one does change throughout the day, from a playful opening to a flirty, sexy middle, to a classy yet youthful end note. And the end note is musk, so how clever to make this sometimes cheap smelling note classy.
Lots of people have said this is a young perfume, and I agree, it can be worn by the young, but it is in no way too young for someone my age - quite the contrary - it is very ylang ylang heavy but in a youthful way, but I would not say ylang ylang was necessarily a young smell, but mixed with the musk, which I would say is a white musk and the jasmine, the overall effect is flirty and youthful, but not 'young'. The Jasmine and Ylang ylang keep it sophisticated and the vanilla and musk steer it into a more youthful territory, which is very clever as it means everyone can wear and enjoy it. I love it and the bottle is really luxe and edgy. I love Chloe Intense and now I love this more, thanks Chloe!

This is a lovely, non invasive scent. I don't normally wear "commercial" perfumes, but after testing this one, I decided it would make a good spring option. It opens with a rather busy floral/apple note that's sweet, and as another reviewer mentioned, maybe some honey. The best part, for me, is the lovely musk that develops as a base note on drydown.. It's complimentary to my body chemistry and lasts quite awhile on me. The sweet/floral doesn't last that long, but the deeper notes do. I would say this would probably be appropriate for all ages, and might make a good choice if you wear perfume to work, as it's not likely to bother anyone. Those that like deep orientals (like me) may or may not like it. I do, because it's so different from what I normally wear.

See is a very different fragrance from other Chloés and I suspect it was creating with the exact purpose of reaching a younger - probably more remunerative - public. The new fragrance, signed by perfumer Michel Almairac is defined by Chloé as chic, elegant and energetic floral - fruity.
The composition opens with fresh notes of bergamot and apple blossom, which is very different from the fruit. The heart is a floral mx of jasmine and ylang-ylang and the base is predominant, featuring some synthetic vanilla and musk with additional sandalwood accords.
It reminds me of some blast from the past, maybe one of those "perfumed deodorants" that looked so cool in the Eighties.
I'm sure it will be a success among teenagers because it has so many reminiscences of childhood, but it doesn't conquer me.
As for the bottle, which supposedly was inspired by a vintage bird cage, well that makes me ever sadder...

No one else has mentioned that this smells like HONEY! At least to me, I definitely detect some honey drizzled over a few crisp granny smith apples with a bouquet of flowers thrown in. It is a very light scent... you could probably spray this on yourself a million times and it would still smell very light and airy. Anyways, I think this smells pretty good, definitely not groundbreaking but very sweet, spring-y, and non-offensive. According to my vanity, Chloe fragrances seem to be a favorite of mine.

This fragrance smells very similar to Bill Blass Nude perfume. The original Chloe perfume smells better than this one in my opinion.

As a fan of Chloe and Love, Chloe, I had to try this. And to my amazement, it's my favorite of the three! A perfect fragrance for spring, like a fresh floral bouquet with some sexy spices thrown in for good measure. A previous reviewer mentioned Downtown Girl, which was my absolute favorite way back when, so maybe that's why I find this irresistible. My guess is that they're very similar -- it's probably no accident that the images of the ad campaign are so similar (each features a young girl in a leather jacket). It's sexier than the very green Love, Chloe, or the sweet lychee rose of Chloe, but there are enough similarities that if you like one, you should like all three. And for those of us who grew up on Downtown Girl, it's not just springtime, but youth in a bottle.

I LOVE this fragrance! I smelled it in Cosmo a few days before it came out and kept rubbing the fragrance page thing over my clothes cause it smelled so good.
It smells so fresh and floral. Light for everyday wear and long lasting.
Really loving this <3

This fragrance reminds me of Teen Spirit or Fa deodorant. It smells a bit floral, a bit fresh and powdery like deodorant, and a little bit like apple. It's soft and clean, but warm. It reminds me a tiny bit of Versace Bright Crystal, but softer and easier to wear. This is a light, inoffensive fragrance. This is a fragrance you could wear to the office and probably no one would ever notice it.
I am 31 and I think this fragrance is absolutely perfect for someone my age. It doesn't smell "young" to me like the VS and Juicy scents, but it doesn't smell "old" either. To me, an "old lady" scent would be something a lot heavier and more floral or spicy. This is very light and fresh.
I LOVE the birdcage bottle and the price was great. I could see myself repurchasing this in the future. This isn't a "wow" signature scent for me, but it's perfect for everyday use. I deducted one lippie, because it lacks staying power on the skin. I have to spritz it over my hair to get it to stay with me throughout the day.

This smells like Biosilk! Lovely scent, young but not too young, floral but modern. Not a 'granny' scent at all!

I really like this scent. It's feminine and modern and both fruity and floral but not powdery or cloying or too sharp. And it didn't remind me of another perfume.

What a disappointment. This smells like old Fuji apples dying in plastic woods and reincarnated as a BBW shower gel.
Love the bottle, love the brand but girl, this is bad. Like, I'm embarrassed for Chloe.

Couldn't wait for this fragrance to hit the stores! I was carrying around with me a couple of magazine rub-on samples to whiff occasionally until I was finally able to buy a bottle yesterday.
I love this newest edition of Chloe. As a younster I had a bottle of beautiful Narcisse but it's a powerful, spicy, serious scent, & I otherwise never used any of the other Chloe fragrances until this new one.
This fragrance reminded me a little bit of Revlon's Downtown Girl from 1992 - peppery & spicy - but much less intense than the Revlon Version. It's peppery but very light & close to the skin, & has a fresh, bright top note of apple - making it reminiscent of apple pie or spiced hard cider (not in a bad way).
It's a very light scent yet warm, great for winter. The bottle is very pretty - heavy sculpted glass in the shape of a birdcage, though I don't understand what message or theme the birdcage & odd name of the fragrance are supposed to imply. Comes in 1oz ($58), 1.7oz ($78 & 2.5oz ($98) spray.
