An amazing product! It is my first BB cream (and first Lumene product) and I decided to try this since it had pretty good reviews and I wanted something lighter than foundation. It is very light in consistency, between a tinted moisturizer and light foundation. I am very cool toned (NC 25-35 in MAC for reference) and this is perfect for me, does not oxidize or look orange / dirty on me (I purchased it in "light").
I have applied with a stipling brush, a paddle foundation brush and my fingers and all methods work well. I can wear it with or without face primer. Product is easy to spread. I do let it "sit" on my face for a couple minutes before I set with powder. Ive been using this for two weeks and I have not broken out or had clogged pores at all (I think my skin may look better actually). I can wear this all day and it doesn't separate on my skin, get cakey or rub off.
I guess its a little pricey for a drugstore product (almost $20 USD) but I think its worth every penny, and has replaced my $60 bottle of Givenchy foundation. I will definitely repurchase. This just may be HG for me.

The texture is a little bit strange. It takes time to blend it. The lightest color is too dark so that may as well be a case. The final finish is beautiful. More dewy than Lumene CC cream. For the price it's great. It doesn't accentuate dry patches, has a good spf. It's more suitable for dry skin

This is a good option if you have a cool skin tone and if you want a serious sunscreen. At least shade 01 light is to be honest nothing but pink. I have a warm light skintone so obviously I wasn't happy with it. Here in Finland local consumer magazine also tested some BB creams in their lab and they find out that the SPF in this product is significantly higher than 20. For me such a high SPF on a daily use causes nothing but tanned neck combined with a pale face during the summer season. Here the UV-index never gets so high that I would use a sun lotion with high SPF and thats why I'd rather avoid high SPF in BB cream as well. So, not my cup of tea this one.

CONS:
1. Color Selection - very few choices

This product was not even a close color match to my skin, and it turned me orange. I am really picky about color, and really like my face base products to look exactly like my skin tone. I like a rather natural look.

My skin is fair with pink undertones with redness in some areas. NW10-NW20 depending on the season.

I am guessing this is a yellow base

2. Bought from drugstore.com and could not return so $$ into the trash.

I suggest if you buy this, do so at a drugstore that accepts returns
in case it does not work out for you.

PROS:
1. I think it is every bit as good if not better than the $40 BB / CC / TM HE make up brands

2. About 1/3 of the price as well (It is a great price point)

3. It has a nice texture

4. It has good coverage and pigment, good enough not sheer thus turning my face a darker and different color.

5. The coverage was more than I get from Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, less than I get from Estee Lauder BB cream

6. It did not dry flat

Such a bummer that the color was just too dark and orange for my skin

this is the best drugstore BB or CC i've used. it instantly gives a young, dewy, well, *illuminated* glow. i do not need or want to use foundation with this, so it's perfect for work days or daytime outings. i love the light coverage and brightening pigments while knowing it's protecting and nourishing my skin. it's a perfect one-stop shop for a rushed morning routine. love it! will repurchase. note: i'm 45 with oily skin and minimum wrinkling.

As far as BB creams go, I haven't had the best of luck with them. Either they are the wrong color, or they become too mask-like and create pools of makeup-oil sludge on my face because they're too thick and not for oily skin. This CC cream is great for oily skin. It has a light texture and blends easily. It's not too thick. I have the medium color and wear a NC25-30. It's a good color for me. This isn't full coverage makeup but I do like the convenience of having a SPF moisturizer and base coverage in one. For days when I'm in a hurry this is a big plus. Does not turn into an oily sludge on my face during the day.

I bought this after I read all the good reviews on here. I have dry skin so I need to mix with my skinceuticals daily cream with SPF in it to get enough moisture. I mix a little bit less Skinceuticals to get heavier coverage on nose and around nose but for rest of face I mix in a lot of other cream to get the moisture I need. I spray on nyx dewy finish and this all seems to hold together nicely all day. I like this product a lot so far and very good value. In the winter, it seems like I can't wear powder--too drying for my skin.

I really like this product. I bought the light (01) version (at CVS) which appears closer to a "medium" color to me. Worn alone this makes my skin look better than natural but not so "made-up" and it is illuminating as the description says. It lasts on the skin and I've gotten multiple compliments when wearing it. If I want more coverage I mix a little bit of liquid foundation with it and I'm set for the day. The fact that it has "natural" ingredients is a great plus! I would recommend it and will definitely re-purchase.

Not quite as HG for me as the Lumene CC Cream is, but it's a very good product. Use it if you're looking for a non-sticky cream with a dewey look. It absorbs well.

My only complaint is that the fair tone is too orange for my skin.

I read reviews after I had purchased online so I was really worried that this would be very orange on me because I am quite fair skinned. Lucky for me, I'm able to wear it! It does give me a healthy glow, but this is a good thing. It blends in beautifully and makes my skin look radiant. I have noticed some dark spots on my face have faded since I have been using Lumene products, but not sure which I have to thank for that. I'm sure they all are contributing in some way.
