This product is a miracle worker. It has a dewy texture but with good coverage that gives a flawless finish. I recommend it to all my friends and have been using it for years regardless of the price. It stays on through out the day and is easy applied with either a stripling brush or with a medium sized kabuki.

Smooth creamy texture, super flexible coverage (sheer to FULL), perfect color match, and long lasting. I love this formula. I purchased in 118 and am MUFE HD 123 / MAC C4 (neutral light tan). This foundation darkens at least 2 shades, so test at least 2 hours before selecting a color. I am combo- dry and use my Sephora Airbrush #55 brush. It is really buildable so start light because it looks super matte quickly. But with just a layer or two it has a lovely semi-matte finish that lasts at least 6 hours with no shine. It does not catch on any dry areas at all, just moisturize beforehand. It looks natural but finished. Perfect for work in NY muggy Spring / Summer and easy touching up. The only con is it is a VERY soft powder and I broke one of the testers :-/ so be gentle! But it's the soft texture that makes it so smooth and nice, so it's worth it! Highly recommend for combo gals and girls.

This powder is very nice if you are not on the extreme side of acne prone and oily and need heavy coverage. i wouldn't recommend it for that.
For me, I've been switching over to a powder foundation in time for summer. My Tzone will oil up no matter what, and all of my liquid foundations are too "dewy" to work and I hate powdering since it never lasts. Ain't nobody got time to pull out their compact in public and reapply!
I like applying once in the morning and then forgetting about my makeup until I come home.
This powder will kick up. Use a big fluffy kabuki with a light swipe each time you try to pick up some product. It controls my oils beautifully, is nice and dry without caking or piling, and matches very nicely to my skin. I am in shade 127 Golden Sand at the moment for my NC42 skin. I may have to go to 153 when the summer sun is in full force. I love that these powders also run pink or yellow depending on your undertone.
I don't really care for the compact, it's nice but could be sturdier for the price. Speaking of price, this stuff is expensive! I will have to see how long it takes for me to hit pan with daily usage.

I LOVE this product!!!! I have horribly oily skin and this plus the mat velvet saved my life!! I fell in love with 175 but I could also go for 178!! I don't really care for it wet but using it dry works wonders!

;This was a replacement for Merle Norman's Ultra Powder Foundation, which I like pretty well, but just happened to be in Sephora's checking out fragrances. So I thought, oh what the heck, give the new kid on the block a try-after all the Merle Norman's shop has become difficult to get to due to road work from Hades. The salesman seemed very confident that I would LOVE this foundation. He easily matched me with 118-Neutral Beige and it did look exactly like my MN which I had no complaints about. I just started wearing powder foundation about 6 months ago when I went into the hospital to get double knee replacements and I wanted something more convenient to use than a liquid or cream while laying in bed recuperating. The MN covered well and was the best match I had worn in a long time. I was a confirmed DS make-up person and the thought of spending $30 for a compact seemed outrageous to me, but since I was having surgery-I treated myself. Back to the Makeup Forever-it went on nicely and seemed to have almost as good a coverage as the MN. I'm 59 and need a little more coverage than I used to since I'm beginning to get those horrid little brown age spots. The MUF compact was harder to get into than the MN, but no big deal. And I recently saw the dermatologist and had most of the brown spots frozen off, so less coverage was fine with me. I don't need a mask-I've taken good care of my skin and it shows. I wore the MUF home and have had it on now for several hours and it's holding up pretty well. I don't think I'll try it wet because I like the coverage it gives dry. My slightly oily T-zone isn't acting up but time will tell. I have gotten cystic acnes on my chin in the past that have been make-up related, but not since I switched to powder. So far so good. It cost about $9 more than the MN, has slightly less coverage, and is hard to get into, but those are the only negatives I've found. My skin looks good and natural and the Neutral Beige is a perfect match. I don't know why I waited all these years to switch to a powder foundation-it's so much more convenient! I like this product, but when the road repairs are done, I may go back to MN's. After all $9 is enough savings to go back to MN's as long as the MUF isn't superior and it isn't. It's a good enough product, but hardly an HG! Unless I break out I'll probably keep this and continue to use it. I might buy it again, if the roads keep MN difficult to get to! Oh-my shade in the MN is Chiffon-a perfect match and almost identical to MUF's neutral beige. But I would recommend giving MN a try if MUF doesn't work out for you!

I dont understand the negative reviews!! This stuff is HG material for me. I love it even more than my benefit hello flawless powder. The finish it gives is great coverage, and yet LIGHT, natural, breathable, with a glowy finish. Perfect for summer. I have normal skin so it works for me but I'm not sure I'd recommend it for oily skin since it is dewy and dewy mixed with oily tends to just look more oily at times.. This foundation is amazing, it makes my skin just GLOW even after a 10 hour workday.

I have this in pink porcelain/ 110 and it is a perfect match for my very fair skin with pink undertones. This is a nice, finely milled powder that applies evenly with the included sponge or a brush. I do like this product but I also use Maybelline Fit Me powder in porcealin/110 and the two procucts are nearly identical in performance and coverage for me so I probably would not repurchase this one because it is more expensive.

So far, I'm pretty impressed with this powder. I don't normally wear any powder at all, but I needed something to set a particularly crease-y concealer, so I decided to try it out. I have a hard time finding my shade (very very pale) in MUFE so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this stuff in 110 and it was a good match for my summer skintone -- it won't work in winter, but it didn't oxidize either. I like it because it's sheer coverage and doesn't look like an obvious layer of powder. This is, in fact, the first time I've ever worn powder in the summertime, as I prefer a more natural look that's not too matte or heavy in hot weather. I've even been able to wear it all over my face at night as a setting powder at more formal, full-face-o-makeup occasions without any cakey dry grossness.
If you're looking for something to replace Duo Mat, this probably isn't it. Duo Mat was so thick and powdery on my dry skin, and when the SA told me that this is its replacement I almost didn't try it at all. I still don't use it all over my face during the daytime but it's pretty good for setting undereye concealer.

I am not a fan or powder as I am older and have aging skin, which accentuates wrinkles. But this one is different. As long as you don't put it around your eyes I see no dif in this and a good for aging fdtn like Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. it is especially good if you have dry skin, but if you have oil breakthrough and though I am dry even I did, you can blot. It gives med coverage, not full, not sheer. What I like is the color range. But try it one. I am 118 in HD liquid, 118 looked horrid on me in this powder, 117 was my color. Recommend for the ease of use and touch ups for those without terrribly oily skin over 35

Update 05/09/13:
I am SO sad :( i took it back to exchange for 1 shade lighter and there wasnt anything that had golden tones in in my skin shade (medium dark/tan)!! so bummed, so i returned it. Going to check our Merle Normans Ultra Powder Foundation as i read from another MUA'er it was a dupe and $9.00 cheaper...
----------
Update: Still loving this powder but exchanging it for 1 shade lighter. Golden Honey is still a bit too dark for NC42.
-----------
i have combo skin (very oily t zone and dry cheeks) and i didnt find that this powder made my skin any oilier or drier than most liquid foundations i have used. i bought it in Golden Honey and its a pretty good match for my NC42 skin. Golden Camel was wayyyy too dark/orangey. I use it dry. w/a sponge i get medium coverage, with a brush, light coverage. its SO smooth going on, did not accentuate any dry patches around my nose at all. makes my skin look flawless! around lunch time my nose got oily, but thats normal for me-i always have to blot by then. it has not oxidized for me luckily, i know that was a huge problem for others. overall i am pretty satisfied with this powder. i really like it more than MAC SF. I might layer this on top of light foundation/tinted moisturizer to get more coverage. bottom line: this powder is simply awesome, buttery smooth. 5 stars if it kept me matte longer but really, i havent found anything, powder or liquid, that can do that AND look good at the same time. Also, i have been using it for about 2 weeks now and no breakouts.

I go into Sephora to buy Duo Mat (watchin youtube vids)
I was talked into buying Pro Finish because Duo Mat was being discontinued and if i loved it, of course I would not be able to get it again unless i bought out the stock LOL.
day 1-5 IN LOVE my face was SMOOTH..flawless i didnt even have to wear concealer and i wear concealer EVERY DAY. didnt look cakey nor did it settle in my fine lines.
However, by the end of the week BREAK OUT CITY..i knew it was this powder as I have not had a break out in over a year. I took it back broken hearted. I reaaaally wanted to love this because my face looked amazing. But alas...47 Canadian dollars isnt worth cystic acne.

I used the regular MUFE Matte Duo for years in the shade 203, I was so excited to try this new line, but after getting matched with 125, i tried it and i looked DEAD ORANGE. It was horrendous. I am so mad, now I'm using Laura Mercier in shade 3 which is the perfect match to 203, only downside is that it costs freakin 50 bucks here in Canada. People with oily skin..... be warned, it oxidizes even if you get a couple shades lighter!

I don't think that MUFE foundations are for me. I've not yet really liked even one that I've tried. Having previously tried 170 in the HD liquid (not impressed), I finally tried the Duo Mat powder. I bought 214 and to this day am not convinced that it's the best match for me, but it does provide decent coverage, better than this Pro Finsh, IMO. But I decided to try the Pro Finish. I was warned off the bat that the colors run darker than the rest of the line, and I was ultimately matched to 168. I have worn it both wet and dry, and I like the fact that it can be worn either way. It just doesn't give the coverage that I'd like and I find that after about 3 hours I need to seriously blot my T-zone. I can't justify buying a mediocre product at any price point, especially one as steep as this.

i was in the market for a new liquid foundation, I came across the MUFE HD liquid foundation in Sephora and really like it, so i went back to get this powder foundation as a mid-day touch up powder which i can carry around in my purse. So far i been really liking it as a touch up powder, it goes on smoothly (when use dry) and remove shine nicely. The make up artist in the store told me that eventho the color suppose to match up the liquid, but they don't exactly do. Which mean if you are 118 in liquid doesn't mean 118 powder will be the "exact" color for you, you still need to try on to see.

No where near as good as Duo Mat, yet still far better than Studo Fix. I have not yet tried it wet, but dry it works decently. Given that I no longer am able to get the Duo Mat from my local Sephora, I will likely continue to use this product, but I don't love it... more of a "meh" reaction. It does not irritate my sensitive skin, and the color match is good. I have had no problem with the oxidation issues that others have mentioned, but I will say I don't feel like it truly lasts the whole day through as the Duo Mat did. I will say I had to switch out the sponge applicator, as the one that came with this product felt a bit rough and flimsy. UPDATE: my cheeks started getting dry, and I started getting little whiteheads on my nose and chin (nothing else in my skincare routine changed). And, I did start to notice a slightly "orangy" tint to my skin at the end of the day. I returned this product and changed to Cover F/X pressed mineral foundation.

Had high hopes for this powder foundation, but I am sorely disappointed. I probably should have read the reviews here first, but I went straight to Sephora to check it out instead.
The matched me to 118 Neutral Beige (I'm in between NW/NC20). Looked like a PERFECT match in the pan...yay! The SA applied it to one half of my face, but within minutes, I was a shiny Oompa-Loompa.
But since I was impressed by the expansive shade selection, I refused to give up! I ended up purchasing 120 Neutral Ivory, which is a tad lighter and a little less yellow than 118.
The next morning, this powder foundation looked flawless upon application! Matched my skin perfectly. But again, within minutes, I was oily and orange. :( I noticed it continued to oxidize throughout the day.
I guess my skin hates this stuff. Back to the drawing board.

I had gone to Sephora to get my makeup done by one of their employees and I'm sad to say that the woman doing my makeup talked me into buying this.
The thing that made me decide to buy it was that she said it could be used wet or dry, perfect for summer and winter, but I definitely think that if you were to use this, it is best to use it dry. Once you use it wet the moisture from the brush or sponge you used that is left on the powder leaves a kind of weird, stiff residue over top.
I have oily skin and lots of redness on my face, and I feel that this powder does not even out my skin tone or keep me matte- even though it's not specified to be matte, I expected it to have a more matte like quality because it is a powder formula. It's better if you are looking for a light coverage.
I now use it over top of my daily foundation and concealer, and only then does it completely cover my redness. I also need a setting powder if I want it to last throughout the day and not fade.
I will use it up, but I will definitely not be repurchasing this product, especially since it was $60+ at Sephora.

I guess I am the oddball, but I am so disappointed in the Pro Finish formula. I finally found a substitute for my Mac Studio fix, MUFE duo mat, and it is being discontinued I didn't mind at first since I was told that the Pro Finish formula was A LOT better than the Duo Mat. This new powder made me so oily in only a couple of hours! Not only that it was pretty hard to find my shade. The color looked a little different after a couple of hours. Duo mat kept me oil free all day and the color was dead on. It had better coverage and it did not break me out. I am so disappointed. Since Duo Mat is being discontinued, I will have to find another brand.

This product looks so natural on my skin. Did well on my cruise to the Bahamas & worked wonderfully as a blot powder if I needed a touch up ... Photographs beautifully, no ashy color or blotchiness. No uneven complexion or oxidation to where it made my complexion look darker. No makeup melt down, when I did sweat and blotted with a sheet it does transfer, which wasn't a big deal for me. Never once felt as if my faced looked like I had no makeup on after sweating & blotting with blot sheets. For dinner time I reapplied the foundation & set once again with my elf finishing spray & was good to go for the rest of the night. Slept in it as well from being to tired and no break outs at all or any kind of irritation.

This is sort of a BB powder. The coverage is sheer to light. I wouldn't even try it wet because with the dry sponge the coverage you get is light, at best. Better than mineral powder: even on my dry skin it never looked powdery or chalky. The finish is pretty close to real skin if you don't over do it. I've tried it over a BB cream to pump up the finish and it looked great too. Pro finish is perfect if you are looking to improve relatively good skin, to use as a powder over a liquid foundation, or to keep in your purse for touch-ups and powdering your T-zone. I'm not repurchasing simply because I prefer a dewy finish and the compact I have will last me forever.
