Lets start by saying that I own nars rue bonaparte and it doesnt hold a candle to this baby. I bought the rimmel one because the nars one is useless (and actually hurtful to use) and my white liners stay on for like an hour, so imagine my surprise when I get this and it doesnt tug at my waterline, one swipe already has color and it lasts me a good 6h. Another thing I enjoy its that its soft but it keeps a sharp point which is useful, especially for darker eyeliners. As for color I think its very vibrant yet subtle and it actually brightens more than white liners, maybe because of its undertone. Its the cheapest liner I have that actually works so Im getting backups!

I definitely got sucked into the hype with this product - thankfully, it worked out for me this time!

For a while I was using NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, and while that was okay, it was way too dramatic and not very long lasting. Also having to put a jumbo pencil in my eye of a morning wasn't very fun.

When I heard about Tarte's Emphaseyes, I was really intrigued by the concept of a nude liner, as I hadn't really seen or heard of one before.

This is the perfect shade of nude! It's the perfect wake-me-up in the morning for my often red, tired and sore-looking eyes. I haven't tried any other high-end nude liners that this is *apparently* based off, but honestly considering how well this one works I see no reason why I should bother.

My two small dislikes (maybe just inconveniences, they don't annoy me that much) about this product are that;
- It's not retractable, and I find it kind of hard to sharpen, but it's really not that big of a deal.
- The staying power could be better. Although it is way better that most eyeliners that I put in my waterline.

All in all, amazing drugstore product that I'm sure is going to become a staple in many of you ladies collections' !

I purchased this based on the online reviews. This is THE perfect nude liner for waterline. Sometimes white can be harsh, so this is a great alternative. It glides on smoothly It doesn't have a ton of staying power, but nothing really does on the water line, aside from gel liner. Also, another trick I do with this liner -- if I mess up on my eyeshadow or eyeliner underneath my eyes or on my lids --- I just use this kohl nude liner to erase my mistakes and blend! It works great!

I love this pencil! It's just a tad light for my NC35 skintone, but it works. I love that it glides on so smoothly. It was my first nude pencil and I'm glad I purchased it. I'd definitely buy again!

This is the first nude eyeliner I have used and I have to admit, I'm impressed! I was initially going to purchase the NARS nude eyeliner, but after reading reviews decided to try the Rimmel alternative. Not only was this product a fraction of the price of the NARS eyeliner, but I cannot fault the quality of this product. It lasts for hours on the waterline and makes your eyes look wide awake. This should be a staple in everyone's make up collection! You may think that you don't need a nude eyeliner in your collection, but trust me, once you have used this product it will become a necessity for your everyday makeup!

It's the only nude liner I've tried, and it's pretty good. It works with my skin tone, but if you're darker, it may disappoint because it can still look white, as it does on me. As for longevity, when I get home after 6 hours, I can faintly see it on my waterline. I wouldn't call it waterproof. It was fairly cheap in the US but I haven't seen it in Canada.

I use it as a brow highlighter and love it. The staying power is outstanding under the arch area. It's an irritant when used on/near waterline for me though and I find that I do not care much for that kind of look on me anyway.

Even though I have the Stila kajal in Topaz, I thought I give this one a try since it's cheaper and heard last longer on the waterline. This stayed on my waterline for 8 hrs with a eye primer. ! I haven't worn Topaz in a while but I don't remember staying on my waterline for this long. I have also purchased Rimmel Scandaleyes in blk and taupe, truly amazing bargains!

Love this! I bought if from Target yesterday for $5. It's a great dupe of Tarte's nude waterline eyeliner. It stays on for hours and it gives the illusion of "bigger eyes" which I love. I am NC15 at Mac (pale with warm undertones) and I find that this is close to my skin colour which I really like. I definitely recommend it over Tarte or Stila!

I was looking for a nude eyeliner since white can sometimes be too harsh. I didn't want to spend so much money getting the Stila one so i was hoping they had a d/s one. I was super exciting when i found out that Rimmel had one and rushed to Walmart ASAP. It's a kajal pencil so it's soft and creamy and also waterproof (apparently). I love the color of this and how it so pigmented. I use this to line my waterline. it lasts a pretty long time and makes my eyes look bigger and brighter. I also got this in 003 (?) Brown :) will definitely be going back to buy backups!

wore this on one eye and nars bonaparte on the other. this one lasted longer and was more natural looking. ref: NC40/42, yellow undertoned skin. its not as BRIGHT as nars but i dont mind, it cancels out the redness and thats all i need! not an exact dupe but for the price? $3.00 vs $24.50? CANT BEAT IT! the nars was just too alien looking on my inner rim and had no lasting power-returned to sephora. good stuff and will look into buying their black color to substitute my Chanel, MAC & UD liners :) would get 5 stars if it was just a tad bit brighter (perfect shade for day wear but i would like a bit more pop for night) but not a big deal. Put it on at 7:30 am this morning and its noon, mostly still intact!

Just got this eyeliner today, and I can say the wear time is about 2-3 hours on the waterline. This is an exact dupe for the Stila kajal eyeliner in Topaz (I own both)! And like a quarter of the price! It definitely gives you that bright eyed look and is well worth the money! I totally recommend this product, but be aware that you will have to reapply after about 3 hours.

review is for *light blue* not nude. I recently read in Redbook magazine about lining your lower waterline w light blue vs white to brighten. This was $3.97 at WalMart so I gave it a shot. I love it. I thought wow this stays on all day, much better than my E.L.F. White pencil...which is not waterproof :-p so no duh. So yes, this is true to being long wearing. Great product for looking more awake

Rimmel's newest eyeliner, the ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal seems to be a very big hit with every blogger that reviews them. Rimmel describes the formula of their ScandalEyes liner as "ultra smooth and creamy formula that glides on easily. Waterproof, smudge-proof, sweat proof, heat proof, humidity proof and scandal proof. Dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested, safe for sensitive eyes." This pencil liner is available in ten shades, I only have one, Nude (005). Rimmel's ScandalEyes eyeliners contail 1.2g (.042oz) and retail for around $4. I bought my ScandalEyes pencil at Ulta, I only paid .98c for it after a coupon and a deal. Unfortunately, Rimmel, a sub-brand of Coty, continues to test on animals. This eyeliner was made in France.
There isn't too much to say about the ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal packaging. These Rimmel eyeliners are made of black wood and are coated to match the color of the product. The pencils are topped off with a clear plastic cap. The Rimmel logo, ScandalEyes logo, a Union Jack, shade name, and some claims are printed on the pencil in silver lettering. This is a traditional eyeliner pencil, so it does need to be sharpened.
A few years ago when everyone was wearing white eyeliner on the waterline, I tried two different ones and hated how they looked. I think my eyes might be too dark for that look. When nude eyeliners because the new waterline trend, I shunned them, figuring they would look awful on me as well. Because I could get it for just a buck, I decided to take a risk on Rimmel's nude liner and I haven't regretted it at all. The Nude shade isn't really nude for everyone, but it's suitable for the majority of skin tones. Rimmel's Nude is a light to medium, yellow flesh toned shade. This pencil goes on very opaque, which really surprised me. This shade is very brightening, but because of it's yellow base it looks a little off up close. This shade would probably be a little more flattering on a tanner skin tone.
The texture of this pencil is somewhere between NYX' Slide On Pencils and Urban Decay's 24/7 Liner. Rimmel's ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner is a very soft, creamy pencil that's comfortable to use on the lash lines and waterlines. I haven't tested the wear for this liner on my lash lines, since it would barely show up, but I can only assume that it would last a really long time. Why? Well...it lasts 7 hours on the waterline. For real. That's about twice as long as most pencil liners last on my waterline. Even after that seven hours, there's still some left behind. That's some serious lasting power. Rimmel's ScandalEyes liners aren't very smudge-able, they seem to set straight away, but that may only be true about the Nude shade.
I've been wearing Rimmel's ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Nude non-stop! I love black liner on the waterline, but this flesh toned pencil has been a refreshing change. I can't find one negative about this product. This liner is creamy and a breeze to apply. The wear time is amazing. Have you ever had a nude pencil liner last seven hours on your waterline? Probably not, especially not one that costs $4. I can't recommend Rimmel's Nude ScandalEyes Eyeliner enough! Everyone needs this eyeliner. I'll definitely repurchase this pencil when I work my way through it, and I plan to pick up the Taupe shade as well.

I love this for my water line! The creamy smoothness allows for an easy application and its water proof so it actually lasts all day! I prefer using a nude over a white in water line cause its less obvious and more natural for everyday use. A white still looks great with dramatic eye makeup this is just better for natural looks.
When I use this my eyes appear doll like especially If I don't use a black or brown liner on lower lashes. Ill use this apply some mascara and bam bigger eyes! Way to go Rimmel for making this little baby cause no other drugstore makeup line has.

I love this liner! It looks so natural, and has a really creamy consistency (which doesn't rub!), and doesn't tug on your eye when applying. It definitely adds brightness and makes your eyes look so much bigger and more awake. In contrast to the nude, the whites of your eyes look much nicer too :) All around great product, and really affordable! Definitely a re-purchase, and a recommendation from me,

This is perfect for lining the inner rim of your eye. It makes eyes look bright and awake. It lasts for several hours on the inner rim. Prior to using this to line my inner rim I was using Benefit EyeBright. The Benefit was too pink, and it lasted less than an hour on the inner rim. This is a great nude that looks much nicer than white, which is too harsh to look anywhere near natural. The texture is smooth, and it doesn't tug when applying. Also, I have no irritation when using this, which is a problem that I have had when using other liners on my inner rims. I will be re-purchasing this item and recommend it to others.
