Truly reflective silver nail polish is something I'm always searching for. This is the best approximation of real reflective, metal nails (that isn't Minx and/or ridiculously expensive) that I've ever tried. I've tried other silver (or should I say platinum?) nail polishes, and they're always too glittery or gray, not reflective at all. With these I can actually see small blurry reflections in my nails. It's the coolest thing. I think Fergie's an awesome make-up guru now, based on this nail polish. I looove this nail polish. There's nothing like it that I've ever seen, and it's beautiful. Go Fergie!

Practical facts: It took three applications for a really opaque look, in my experience. The nail polish so far has lasted three days without any chipping. I was afraid that doing housework might ruin it, but nope, still strong. I also like how the color is a little softer than other silver/platinum nail polishes. I think that's because of the tiny gold glitters dispersed throughout the silver. For $3.99, this was an awesome steal.

I have searched high and low for a white gold/platinum nail polish like this one. Most gold polishes don't work on my cool toned skin, but this may just be the perfect gold for me. Going Platinum, as the name suggests, is a cross between silver and gold. It also has very tiny bronze specks as well as the occasional multi-colored sparkle in it, just enough to add a bit of dimension. I don't have OPI Designer . . De Better!, but this looks like it might be a close dupe (if anyone has both I'd be interested in a comparison). The formula is nicely opaque and lasts well on the nail. I have really been enjoying these Fergie polishes (more than I thought I would) and this might be my favorite of the ones I have tried so far.
